Updating my review. Listen I've been coming here for YEARS and let me tell you I never get disappointed. I just hate how yall found out about my secret!! Now it's always busy here !! Hahah. My favorite is the number 12 with extra tendon. So yummy!!Every time I order pho, I always get a side of nuoc beo which is scallions in oil drippings. Super good it enhances the broth! Try it next time ! I brought my boyfriend here for the first time and he absolutely loved it here. By far one of the best/ better pho restaurants in the area. I'm a regular so the staff is always so friendly and nice to me when ever I'm in.All I got to say is the owner Tina. Does not play. She is about her business and she's such an inspiration. From food presentation, to quality of the food, to how clean the restaurant is. This lady is amazing! Boss moves. My family loves this place and we just love the vibes, service, cost, etc.Now I will say I wish you guys stayed open at midnight cos sometimes on the weekend I want a midnight snack lol!! How Did They Mess Up Pho This Badly? Food: 2/10I was so excited to try this place with my sister--decent reviews, 4-star rating--I thought we were in for a treat. But boy, was I wrong. This is hands down the worst pho I've ever had. The broth? Completely flavorless. No amount of hoisin, Sriracha, or extra lime could save it. It literally tasted like they just boiled water and added brown food coloring. I asked for extra beef balls, and they gave me three... cut in half. Not only were they tiny, but the texture was off--like, is this even cooked? Price: 7/10I'll give them this--the portions are solid, and it's cheap. But what's the point if the food is diabolical? Service: 3/10I walked in prepared for bad service because the reviews said, "nasty attitude, but good food." But when the food isn't even good? Now we have a real problem. Ambiance: 5/10The place actually smelled amazing when we walked in, which is so misleading because the food had zero flavor. Final Thoughts:I genuinely don't know how this place has 4 stars. Sacramento, explain yourselves. If you want actual flavorful pho, go literally anywhere else.

Came on a Saturday afternoon with my cousin. There's plenty of street parking and many tables to sit. Staff was pretty attentive and my bowl came with huge portions! I was happy with the taste, and my cousin enjoyed his dish. Definitely coming back here, especially during funerals across the street.

Very big space. Got seated quickly. Got a bun bo hue. It came out quick. I got a small but it was a huge bowl. This was honestly the saddest bowl of bun bo hue I've ever had. It lacked flavor, no umami. I never add salt in my food but I had to do this time. The salt never made it better. The meats and noodles were plenty. Hopefully their pho isn't like this. Saw most people ordering stir fried noodle dishes.

This is one of those places where you come here for the price & portion. While walking towards to our table, I noticed the huge plates & bowls. As I looked at the menu, the prices were pretty decent. They have 3 different sizes for PHO: Small, large, and X-Large. The x-large was $18.99. I honestly think a small would be good enough. I got the small pho with beef & tendons. Everything in the bowl was average. The broth was not hot enough. The broth had very little flavor to it. The meats were too thick and the tendons were too hard to chew. I think they only gave me 2 pieces of tendons lol didn't matter since i threw it all.The greens were fresh. They will give you more if you want. They offered pho tuoi, but it wasn't the reg kind for pho. People tend to use it for stir-fry noodles. WeirdService was alright. RR availParking availIf you know me, I only like authentic pho. I was feeling a bit under the weather today and decided that Pho was needed. I ordered via Door Dash for lunch and it came super fast and super hot (even burnt my tongue, but it was worth it).I ordered a small Chicken Pho and it hit the spot! It included so much chicken and noodles - it was even more than I feel like some Pho places give you for a big sized bowl. The to-go container was filled to the brim!It also came with all of the fixings like basil, jalapeno slices, green and white onions, limes, etc. plus packets of Hoisin Sauce and Sriracha. I can't speak on the service or the ambiance since this was a delivery meal, but just based off of the Pho alone, I will definitely be visiting very soon!

Used to come here often years ago, came back again recently and still just as great. Ordered a small #14 and it was really good! Portion size was honestly quite big compared to other places and it's around $13+. They recently raised their prices, was originally around $8+ but still fairly cheap. Was a bit slow when we went (Thursday around 2PM) and it took awhile for us to be seated but food came out very quickly and workers were very nice. Very spacious for both small and large parties, has many art pieces representing Vietnamese culture. Would definitely recommend checking this place out, wouldn't mind coming here again.

Came for Sunday lunch and it was full and lively inside! Definitely recommend the banh xeo!!! Crispy and giant. The spring rolls were okay, the veg was extremely fresh. The staff was efficient and accommodating. I will be back!

Stopped by for lunch since I was in the area, South Sac. The pho here is always good and the service is fast. The broth is clear and delicious I don't really add anything to it other than hot sauce. Nothing a bowl of pho can't fix for lunch or dinner, it's always good here. I've been coming here for years and just realized I never Yelp'd Pho Xe Xua! Well deserved.
