This place hit the spot! The broth was solid and we even ordered the fries and they are a hit too. We came in with 25 people leaving Tahoe on Sunday morning, we were all able to get seated the waitresses were so nice to us and we got all our food promptly . It was exactly what we needed. Our coffee drinks came a little late and they said it was on the house since it took extra time. It was such a nice gesture that we weren't expecting since we were such a large group. Overall great food, amazing service and were super accommodating !!

This casual but clean and friendly Vietnamese noodle shop gave us a good dining experience. Once we sat down, the waiter quickly came up to take orders and was very efficient. The beef brisket and tendon noodles were the highlight! The brisket was cut thicker than in other Vietnamese noodle shops, and the taste was particularly tender. The elasticity of the beef tendon, plus the perfect balance of herbs and saltiness, did not need any additional sauces to season it. In comparison, the pho ga (chicken rice noodles) was ordinary and not particularly amazing. The price is a few dollars more than other Vietnamese noodle shops, but considering the amount of meat and noodles, the price-performance ratio is reasonable. If you are a beef brisket noodle lover, this one is worth a try!

We ordered the Combination Pho ($17) and Bun Bo Hue ($18)--both were a huge letdown.Overcooked noodles ruined the texture.Bun Bo Hue was NOT Bun Bo Hue--it tasted like bland pho with a bit of seasoning. It barely had any meat, and the essential side condiments (cabbage, mint, Vietnamese coriander) were missing. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered it.Pho lacked flavor--just completely disappointing.Overpriced for what you!I can confidently say this is not authentic or even close to what it should be. I had high hopes but left feeling completely disappointed. Definitely not coming back.

While I appreciate that they're one of the few places open late that serves pho, I'd say the quality is pretty mediocre. I'm convinced they use canned pho broth--it just doesn't taste authentic to me.I do like that they have an extensive menu and stay open late, which is convenient. However, if I'm truly craving pho, this wouldn't be my first choice.

I came here after passing by going home and the reviews looked pretty legit. The photos of food also looked soooo good. The location was a bit hidden but the lighting was nice and inside was fairly large. The food wasn't quite to my expectations but it was still good! We got take out but pho always taste better fresh at the restaurant and the rice place portion was ok. I'll prob try again next time. Oh and if you order via phone be prepared to do payment over the phone! And they also charge pho to go large only, no small.

Pho Momma isn't open as late, and I was meeting friends on a Monday night for dinner. Looking at Yelp, we found Pho Viet Anh was open until midnight and also in the Folsom/Bradshaw area. You won't find us in Little Saigon after dark, but to satisfy Vietnamese cravings, this wasn't bad! It is hidden in the back corner of Butterfield Plaza (you can see Doma Korean from the main road) though, and was broken into recently so their main entrance door is boarded. Counter by the kitchen, bathroom on the opposite rear. Big space, tables and cushioned booths, and several TVs with cartoons or music videos/YouTube playing (Adele, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Gotye, Ed Sheeran, etc.). Printed menus under the table glass, and QR codes to scan as well. I noticed that the paper menu did not exactly match the online menu (P4. Bun bo hue was on hard copy but not digital). They also have rice bowls, banh mi, banh xeo, rice vermicelli, vegetarian, "home cooking" beef stew or lemongrass noodles or laap salad, and beverages. We shared one order (4 rolls) of the goi cuon spring rolls with shrimp, and these were pretty good, not overly minty. The noodles were still warm and some of the wrappers broke but that was fine. I didn't see if there was cilantro. The peanut sauce was also not too runny or flat, the shrimp was ok.One person got the iced Vietnamese coffee (they were out of the salted coffee foam). This was a very neat presentation and very strong stuff! One person ordered the P1 Pho (beef rice noodle soup) combination which had combination (steak, tripe, beef meatball, brisket, tendon), no onion. Garnish provided was beansprouts, basil, romaine, jalapeno, lime, perilla and of course sriracha, hoisin, chili, and whatnot. Takeout wooden chopsticks, real forks, plastic soup spoons, and napkins also provided.I got the P4 Bun bo hue soup. The waiter was patient as we were deciding, and assured me it wasn't too spicy, which turned out to be true. The bun bo hue also uses a different thicker, cylindrical more tubular noodle than the pho rice flat noodle. I've seen this dish at other places with the pork blood, but not here. Here though, they did have sliced beef, pork sausage with peppercorn, and pork knuckles! Fried onions on top too. I am curious about their combination pho for next time. Their bowls only come in either size Small or Large, except the bun bo hue was one-size. They don't do bun rieu here.

Can I just say. . .OBSESSED?!! The customer service is always amazing. Everyone that I've spoken to going here has been genuinely kind. I really need to try other items on the menu but their pho has me in a chokehold LOL. I've been ordering to go because of the circumstances happening when the craving hits but every time I've been in there, no matter how late, there are people at the tables. It's nice and bright inside. Very welcoming.I will not go to any other pho spot in the area. This is my spot!!

I had been craving Pho for WEEKS and finally had some last night with a friend for dinner. They have a small menu which I like, but they still offer Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, Chicken Pho, Vermicelli and Rice Bowls as well as unique drinks.I ordered the Beef Pho with Rare Steak and Meat Balls. It came with all of the fixings, but what really put it over the top was the house-made garlic chili oil. It had such great flavor and I actually preferred it over Sriracha. I also love that Pho Viet Anh has large and small sizes of their Pho - the small is the perfect size. Overall, it wasn't the best Pho I've ever had, but it definitely satisfied my craving. The inside is very spacious and clean - plenty of seating with different size tables. Staff was also very nice! Check them out!

Went in for late night dinner and ordered the small pho combination. This was the first time I wish I had ordered the large and I usually don't order a large. The clear broth was warming and the noodles were actually soft instead of pre soaking. The best thing was definitely the house made garlic. I put it in every bite. Service was minimal but that's ok. Place was spacious and quaint.

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Sacramento. Coming from the Bay Area where the Asian population is high, getting authentic Asian cuisine was never an issue - until I reached Sacramento. The atmosphere of this place was cozy, clean, and inviting. The customer service was friendly and efficient right when we walked through the door! Our server, Carina, was extremely knowledgeable about their menu, high-quality ingredients, and catered to the adjustments we asked for our meals with ease. The pho served was absolutely delicious - it came quickly steaming hot with lots of flavor, not to mention it was eye-catching and definitely social media worthy! This place offered us multiple options of add-ons to extract the flavor from our soup and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone!
