I recently visited this pho restaurant and had a mixed but ultimately fantastic experience. When we first arrived, we waited about 15-20 minutes to be seated, and I was honestly wondering if it would be worth the wait. Spoiler alert: it absolutely was. The star of the show was undoubtedly the pho. My first sip completely blew my mind; it had a thicker, richer broth with a sweeter flavor profile than any other pho I've tried. It was a game-changer and worth the wait alone. As for the appetizers, I was a little confused why the salt and pepper wings were on the preferred menu because they were just mid. The real standout was the honey fish sauce fried chicken--crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. The spring rolls were also a hit, with a delicious pork crunch that had me hooked, though I wish there was a bit more protein in them. To top it all off, the Thai tea and green Thai tea with coconut cream were the perfect way to end the meal. We ordered them less sweet, and they hit the spot just right, refreshing, and not overly sugary. Overall, this place has officially become our go-to pho spot. The pho is exceptional, the honey fish sauce fried chicken is a must-try, and the drinks are the perfect complement to the meal. Highly recommend!I was too hungry to take pics. Next time!

Our party of six arrived here the other day on a Sunday mid-morning just as the restaurant opened. We got there at 11:15 AM and they were already busy (they open at 11 AM). The restaurant is nestled in the corner of the shopping center and there was plenty of parking. Pho Momma itself is not large or small, a perfect size actually. We didn't have to wait at all to be seated, which was really nice! Lots of tables, booths and seating options. Their menu is pretty extensive with options for everyone (vegetarians, vegans, meat lovers and more). My kids ordered the XS meatball pho each (This was perfectly sized for their appetite). I ordered the number 1 Pho (size small) which includes lean beef, flank, brisket, fat brisket, tripe and tendon. I asked for extra meatballs in my pho as well. My friend ordered the pork fried rice (pretty large portion)! My husband ordered the curry vermicelli with tofu. My kids and I loved our pho orders. The broth was flavorful and delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the meat options were superb. My husband, however, did not very much enjoy his dish, he stated that he wished it was a little more flavorful. He mentioned that he thought it needed more spices and curry sauce. He noted to me that he wouldn't order that specific dish again but would try other options. The place is itself is pretty low key and there are televisions throughout the restaurant to view sports, cooking shows etc. I do have to say that the TVs are a little distracting. Overall- I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

My girlfriend told me about this place a while back, and we finally made our way in to check it out. When we arrived it was nice and bustling for the evening. We out name out on the wait list and waited maybe 15-20 minutes before out table was ready. While we waited I looked over the dishes online to get a better idea of what looked good, and immediately the crispy chicken, wontons and Thai iced teas stood out; this will come in handy later! Once at our table we looked over the rest of the menu to just to confirm everything that we wanted and ordered the following:Appetizers:Crispy Salt & Pepper Chicken wingsCrispy chili oil WontonsMain courses:Pho #3 (large)Pho #4 (x-small & large)Drinks:Thai Tea (x2)The crispy salt & pepper was SO good! Fresh out of the fry, it arrived to our table hot, crispy and nicely seasoned. And the crispy oil wo tons were nice and favorable. The pho was well prepared as well and really enjoyable.Overall: Everything was nice and favorable and really well prepared. The appetizers really sold it for me here, as you can get really good pho at many places; including here. But not too many places also have really good appetizers that make the entire dinning experience great. Pho Momma definitely has that, and I will definitely to back to try more.

Pho Momma has the aesthetics for decor and taste for their food down. I got the chicken pho and it was good. I'd give it a 7/10.I'm a fan of their appetizers! Tried the:Salt & pepper wings (7/10)Sweet garlic fish sauce wings (10/10)Bone marrow toast (8/10)Chili oil wontons (6.5/10)Forgot the name, but the most popular spring roll (8.5/10) I didn't catch her name, but our server was nice. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other menu items.

Came here for lunch and it was pretty busy, but luckily my friends and I managed to get a table. They have so many delicious offerings on their menu, but since it was my first time there I had to try out their pho. I wanted lean meats so I got a #3 medium that includes lean beef, flank, and brisket. I like how they use stainless steel bowls to help keep the pho stay warm. Their bathroom is clean and nicely decorated! The broth was flavorful, but it was a little fatty to me because whenever I took a sip I could feel the residual on my lips. I should have gotten a large because I was still hungry after finishing my bowl. The portions here are on the smaller side. My friend who got a large felt the same way and said they were still hungry because it was not enough. The servers were friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we need and came to our table to check up on us. Overall, this is a decent place for pho, but it is pricier than other places and has smaller portions.

Pho Momma wins my heart out of all the pho places I have tried in Sacramento! This is one of the best pho restaurants I have ever tried and will now be my go-to spot if I am craving for something soupy after a party night! I'm originally from San Jose, so I'd like to say this restaurant hits home. The broth is perfectly cooked and it is very rich in taste. Unlike any other places, I love the sizing options they have to offer! If San Jose has Pho Papa, then Sacramento has Pho Momma! :)

Even at an odd hour (3pm on a Saturday), there was still a wait.I ordered the pho #3 (lean beef, flank, brisket - size medium) and the Coco Jackfruit to drink. The portions aren't great. I ordered a medium, but I definitely should've ordered a large. For $15, I'd think there would be a more generous serving. The amount of noodles included was not filling at all! (I'd surely leave very hungry still if I had ordered a small.) They did, however, include a good amount of meat. The pho was flavorful and I enjoyed my meal. The drink was a nice compliment to my food; it was very sweet and included bits of jackfruit. Service was average, not super friendly. Interior is nicely decorated.I would return to Pho Momma, but would likely flavor a place with a more generous portion of noodles.

Come for the cool name but stay for the great food! There are plenty of Pho restaurants in the area but Pho Momma is becoming my go to spot. Great, friendly service and nice traditional decor. It's a pretty small restaurant, so they get busy really quick.I started off with an small order of the Pork Egg Rolls and went with the large Chicken Pho. It hits the spot on a cool winter day.

We came as a group of 7 around 5:20pm on a Sunday this place was packed! Good signs for a restaurant. It took about 10 minutes to get seated and we got our food within 10 minutes after ordering.I ordered a large #1 and it was the perfect dish to eat after a long day in the snow. Most of us ordered pho and we all thought the broth was pretty tasty. One of my friends ordered the Curry Beef Stew with rice and it was also really tasty! She actually got the last one as it was a popular dish on the menu. The beef was moist and tender, and the curry had lemongrass in its flavor profile. This eatery offered a Vegan menu for those specifically interested in non-meat items. The staff were attentive and came by to refill our water often. We didn't have issues with parking even though it was a smaller lot. This place does charge gratuity for a party of 5+.

The first time I visited Pho Momma, I didn't have time to wait out the lunch rush. This weekend, I'm so glad that I waited for dinner because it was so worth it!My partner and I arrived around 6:15 on a Saturday, and we waited about 30 minutes before getting seated. Seating is limited and there was a wait up until the last hour before closing! Fortunately, the wait gave us time to explore the menu. My partner and I both ordered the lean beef pho noodle soup with rare meat. I love the option to request rare, and the quality exceeded my expectations. The broth was piping hot and it was delicious on its own and with a few squirts of Sriracha. I ordered a medium ($15) and the portion was perfect for me! Pho Momma is a cozy hidden gem in an Asian shopping center, and all the hype is spot on! I'm not surprised that Pho Momma landed on Yelp's Top 50 list for 2024. Well deserved!
