This was my first time trying Pho Cali and I was not disappointed. I've tried a few other Vietnamese spots in the area but this place will be a part of my regular rotation now. Went in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and was greeted and sat as soon as I walked in. The service is quick and very friendly. The young gentleman running the front by himself did a good job as it was getting fairly busy. They also had signage for a 10% off offer if you decide to pay with cash; not sure how long this offer will last though!The inside of the restaurant is on the smaller side, almost cozy. They had all the sauces and utensils propped up on the table so you have everything you need without asking. It is also one of those spots where you go up to the counter to pay after the meal, rather than waiting on someone to bring a check so I was able to pay and leave when I was actually finished.I decided to go with the BBQ pork and wonton hu tieu. I love hu tieu, however, I hate making the drive to south Sacramento to get some good soup. The wontons were super flavorful and didn't have a lot of excess wrapper like some other spots. Their broth is definitely on the sweeter end too, which I like, but if that is not your preference I would ask for soup on the side and adjust to your liking, or choose a dish that doesn't contain broth. The portion for me could have been two servings, I couldn't finish half of my bowl because they were so generous with everything! I will definitely be back to try more from them. I left full and very happy :)

Pho cravings satisfied! Nothing special about this spot but sometimes that's a good thing. Just good'ol, traditional soupy bowls of delicious pho servings. Ambiance is welcoming but nothing classy with limited seating and a generous parking lot. Feels a bit old and outdated inside, but it's clean and the food tastes great along with yummy smoothies for pairing. Service was friendly and accommodating for my family of 6 but seating is primarily designed for parties of 4 and below. Pho dishes were delicious and classic. The sautee curry chicken was good but was sad to hear that it was the only curry fish they had. Thus the only reason for the 1 star deduction - other than that, smoothies and thai iced tea were fantastic!Had some banh mi w/beef to go (TBD but I'm sure it's going to satisfy our cravings 100%). Great local spot, recommended for a quick way to satisfy your pho cravings, and no stress with parking!

Brightly lighted room. Clean enough. Fast & friendly servers.I ate the crispy fried calamari and a giant bowl of stir fry rice noodle with seafood. My dining companion ate the beef stew with egg noodle.Crispy calamari is just passable. Probably just pre-packaged, frozen. Yes, crunchy. Rubbery calamari rings inside. Served super-duper hot. Not much flavor. A small bowl of sweet syrupy not spicy chili sauce served on the side. For $10 there's about 9 calamari rings on the plate. My seafood chow fun noodle dish was quite healthy. Chock full of diced vegetables. Seasoned mildly. I used a small bowl of Sriracha on the side to occasionally dip some morsels. There's at least 3 pounds of food on the big dish. I can eat like a hungry hound all day. I surrendered after about eating 1/2 of the meal. Brought the rest home for tomorrow's lunch.Tasted my friend's beef stew. Broth is sweet, not spicy. Beef hunks are tender.All done this inexpensive meal for both of us, $41 before tip, was quite satisfactory.I plan to return for a bowl of pho.Note: There is no alcohol served. No beer, no wine.

I had the rare steak pho. It was the most flavorful broth I've ever had. I also had an ORGANIC green tea which was slightly sweet just enough to take away the bitterness. The service was so sweet and respectful and the establishment was clean and so well kept! There is a reason the rating is so high!

One of my favorite I-80 corridor food stops! I always call my order in on the way, and it's ready within about 10-20 minutes. The Banh mi are my favorite; if you've got a sweet tooth, grab a dessert drink with jelly or boba. The strawberry hearts I got last time were adorable AND a delightful addition to my milk tea. Honestly, I haven't ventured the rest of the menu (because a Vietnamese sandwich is top notch for road trips) OR dined in; Pho Cali appears to have limited seating, but it gives the restaurant a family feel. I'd love to try their other options someday soon - I'm sure there's a reason their Yelp rating is so high!

First time here, Pho and spring rolls were hot and good. The broth was a little bit sweet for my liking. Service and cleanliness however were not the best. My water glass had some gross crust on the inside. Which turned me off immediately. Appetizer got dropped off with no plates. We had to ask twice to have our waters filled as the two employees sat behind the counter on their phone. The young man was nice. Probably will not return.

Food is consistently delicious. We have eaten several different types of pho and all are so good. Tonight, i ordered the grilled beef and noodles, so delicious! The beef was thinly sliced, nicely seasoned and very tender. Loved the vegetables and noodles. Also we have had pot stickers, yummy and crispy. Eat here and enjoy good food. Service is very attentive too.
