Food and service was good. Shared the spicy mussels and chicken Viet tacos from the happy hour menu, and an XL#16. Very filling and yummy. Also tried a friend's calamari and it was very good! They have cauliflower rice and keto noodles as an option which I've never seen at a pho spot before. But just because the noodles are keto doesn't mean the broth is so just keep that in mind. Vibe inside looks like a remodeled pho restaurant. Very clean and updated inside. They have a bar and specialty cocktails that I would like to try next time. Pretty solid Viet spot!

Pho Bac Hoa Viet: A Rainy Night, A Warm Bowl, and a Spoon-less StruggleThere's nothing quite like a steaming bowl of pho on a rainy night--it's the ultimate comfort, the culinary equivalent of a warm hug. So I came to Pho Bac Hoa Viet seeking that hug, only to find that while the food was ready to embrace me, the service-ware was socially distancing itself.Let's start with the good: the combination pho was exactly what I expected--rich, beefy, and deeply satisfying. Was it life-changing? No. But it did its job, like a reliable old friend who always shows up but never brings gifts. Then there was the salt and pepper calamari, which was crispy, seasoned just right, and honestly so good that I briefly forgot I was in a restaurant that had apparently run out of cups.Ah yes, the cups. I asked for water and was told I had to wait because they were out of cups. I didn't realize cups were such a rare and finite resource, but apparently, I caught them during a drought--of dishwashing. Eventually, after a noble quest to bus tables, they managed to secure me a chalice... I mean, a regular cup of water. Then came the real test: the spoon debacle. You'd think a pho restaurant would have an endless supply of those deep, curved soup spoons that make slurping broth an art form. But no. They were out. Instead, I was given a regular metal spoon, which was about as useful as trying to eat noodles with a teaspoon. I felt like a child playing pretend at a fancy dinner party, awkwardly scooping broth with a utensil that clearly wasn't meant for the job.To their credit, the staff was busy, and it was a fairly packed Thursday night (which, let's be honest, is an oddly chaotic day to be overwhelmed). But running out of cups and spoons at a pho restaurant is like a bank running out of money--it just shouldn't happen.By the time I actually received my water and the proper soup spoon, I was practically done with my meal, having survived using the metal spoon like some sort of pho pioneer.Would I come back? Maybe, if I bring my own cup and spoon like a true survivalist. The food is solid, but if you come here, just be prepared to engage in a little patience and a lot of improvisation.

This place is really not for the real Vietnamese or Chinese, their food doesn't have the right taste how it should be, service is slow too but pricey for the area. The place is somewhat clean but not the restroom. They have so many items on the menu but taste just ok. They have so many people to service but the service is really slow...The most that it bothered us the most is for a not so cold weather and they service pho soup noodles, they turned up the heat to make sure you sweat......it just feel really uncomfortable there.

The hostess sat us really fast. The restaurant was very well decorated. The floors were really slippery. The waitress we had, was a little rude. As soon as we sat down, she asked what we wanted. She didn't give us any time to even look at the menu. We politely asked her to come back. She never greeted us or even smiled. We saw her do this to a number of tables. The receipt said her name was Kim. We ordered Pho and Spring rolls. The food was great. My friend ordered food to-go, we had to wait an additional 35-40 minutes for that and our check. We asked the waitress for our check and asked if the to-go order was ready. We saw her grab it and noticed it was just sitting on the counter. I would've gave this place more stars, but the waitress was horrible.

This place is right off the freeway next to the drive in. We felt like Pho, so decided to stop by. They were busy, but we were seated very quickly. The service was quick and straight to the point haha. I liked my grilled beef with rice noodle. I kind of wish it was grilled a bit more, but it was ok. The Taro Dumpling was unique and good. The Pho was just ok. I think the broth needed a bit more flavor. It was missing something, just don't know what. Not sure if I would make a trip out here just for pho though. But it was good enough for the time. Oh, they have a Pho Challenge. I think it's like 5lbs worth of Pho haha.

Didn't eat all day so naturally I requested pho for dinner. I dined in with the bff and ordered:lychee martinis - strong lychee flavor but too sweet Crab cream cheese wontons - good and crabby with a fluffy wrapperbanh xeo taco - kind of bland and greasy, needed some sauce so I threw in hoisin and chili paste in therecombo pho - pretty decent and large portions The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively and decorated for the holidays. Pricing felt a tad higher - especially the banh xeo tacos which were listed under appetizers but was the same price as an entree. The service was great and our server was responsive.Appreciated that it was a convenient late night spot with fast service.

It's been years since I've dined here and we were shocked to walk in and see the space renovated and unrecognizable. I think they expanded so it's much larger than before.Their menu also has a new look with a lot of new menu items. We ordered the popcorn chicken to share and the portion was huge and it was crispy! I just wish they added more Thai basil. My husband had a vermicelli bowl and throughly enjoyed it. I had the shrimp chow fun and it was a large portion but lacked some flavor. Our friend ordered a large bowl of combo pho and he enjoyed it, but would have preferred a medium bowl. They only offer small, large and X-large. We also ordered the durian and strawberry smoothie and viet coffee. The smoothies were very refreshing and the fruit flavor tasted real, fresh and tangy. My husband's viet coffee was no joke - crack in a cup! Our food was served quickly and pipping hot. Absolutely no complaints!

I heard great reviews about this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! It was my first time trying pho, so I did not know what to expect. The portions were good, and I liked the amount of protein in them. I wish I tried one of their boba options, but I was worried about getting too full from the spring rolls and a drink before my entree. The only thing I was not a huge fan of was that some of the meat was chewy and hard to swallow without almost choking. The food did come out very quickly, and I liked the Christmas decorations. I have heard it gets swamped, so I recommend going earlier to beat the crowd. I want to try a couple more pho places before returning here to compare!

I come for the pho and my kids come for egg rolls. Everything always comes out hot, fresh, and fast. I've been a customer since 2011 and never had any complaints, and witnessed the transformation it is today. This is my families go to spot for pho, and even for some of the Chinese food options. A few years back they did a collab with a local bbq food truck called Post Oak. They used their smoked brisket in the pho, and it was amazing! Bring it back!

Came in to enjoy some warm soup on a raining day and restaurant was not busy. Lots of seating. This is one of my favorite places to enjoy some delicious hot Pho but this day I decided to try another soup on the menu and went with the Wor Wonton Soup. It's was okay, not the best. It had lots of veggies & wontons but very little meat in the soup. A little too much veggies and flavor was a little bland. Next time I will stick with the Pho I usually go with. Pho here is by far the best. Also ordered some eggs rolls and those were served nice and hot and great flavor and filled with the right amount of meat and veggies. Ordered a Hot Sake but be cautious when you go to drink it, it is served extremely hot. Service this visit was great since the waitress didn't have many tables to serve at once.
