Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Classic Pete's. As far as the food goes, you know exactly what you're getting. Good brewhouse type food. I have always loved their pizzas and will always love their pizzas. The only reason we felt a bit disappointed was that for as long as we've gone to Pete's they've had great lunch specials. This location apparently does not. The previous Granite Bay location, the Folsom location, and the El Dorado Hills location all have great options for lunch specials, but this location is simply the full menu all the time and that ended up costing us a lot more than we expected walking through the door. Probably our won mistake thinking each location would all be the same, but it is what it is. Overall great food, service is always pretty strong, and the ambience is that of a nice brewhouse, upscale area. They have classic restaurant seating, as well as a pretty expansive bar seating area (where they do offer their full menu as well).

Good food, good service but got a bill of $88.05 and when I gave my credit card it became $91.52 because of a credit card usage service fee. I will never be back, Credit card fees are part of running a business. We hadn't eaten here since you first opened because of a bad experience and now this. I'll never be back and will spread the word of this rediculousnees.

They close at 10 pm on Fri and Sat nights.......clear sign on the door. Stop serving food at 9:18 pm.....WTF? Typically I don't write bad reviews. But honestly this is some BS and bad for business. No wonder I never want to come into this place. Management needs to set clear expectations and let their consumers know. Have it written down-like a sign or something-like how they do their hours. Disappointing and concerning.

Went here for my birthday dinner, waitress was very helpful and on top of her game. Food was delicious

Our waitress was perfect. The seating was very quick, but it was so cold in the restaurant at 2 o'clock in the afternoon that everybody had to keep their coats on and even the waitress had a sweatshirt on.

Really unhappy with the overall experience during this trip. I will not be back. Please see the specifics below.The good: the red onion on my burger was fresh and tasty. The soda was served in an actual glass, not a plastic cup. They had the volume on the football game. Some places don't. I wanted to hear the game.The bad: the happy hour burger was super thin and didn't even reach the edge of the bun in any direction. The garlic fries might have had garlic on them, I'm not sure, that's how little garlic there was. When my food arrived, I was not offered a napkin, or silverware, or condiments of any kind.The ugly: arrived on a Sunday night at 5:05 PM and wasn't even ACKNOWLEDGED by the bartender until 5:30 PM, at which time I was offered a beverage. I had to ask for a happy hour menu because I couldn't find one anywhere, despite the fact that happy hour is all day on Sunday. When I got my check, there was no itemized breakdown of what I was being charged just a total.

I had the combination pizza at Pete's, and the flavors were truly enjoyable. The fresh toppings and crisp crust made it a satisfying meal.The only drawback was the slow service, especially since many tables were empty when I arrived. It was quiet for Sunday lunch. Still, the food was good enough that I'll likely return

My wife and I came in for a quick happy hour snack. We ordered wings and chicken nachos and wine and beer. The wings were burnt, the nachos were cold and the bartender served me three day old sediment that was left in the tap line. I finally got my beer swapped out for what I asked for, but the service was slow and everything but the wine was bad.

So my wife and I went in two weeks ago on a Friday night at 7:30. At first I thought it would be busy but it wasn't, first red flag. They promptly greeted us and seated us in a booth. Then it wend downhill from there after 15 minutes of no contact whatsoever all the while employees went past us and never made eye contact with us or acknowledged us. I figured it wouldn't go good so we left and probably never go back. I hope they use this as a learning tool. I get the feeling that due to it not being busy on a Friday night we weren't the first and it is getting a bad reputation. I hope they figure it out because it's tough enough for small businesses there days. No I'll feeling.

We were looking for a dog friendly place and found Pete's. Arrived late Sunday afternoon, the wait staff was able to seat us in the back patio (afternoon shade). She served us water including a water bowl for our dogs . We ordered grilled salmon with asparagus and rice pilaf (tasty), and a garden flatbread. The flatbread was a little chewy and could have been toasted/baked a little longer.
