Penguin's

I wouldn't hire this "Catering" if they were the only ones around. I recently went to an event my friend was having being catered by them. Not only were they 90-minutes late, and a lame excuse also that "her phone wasn't holding a charge". Seriously?I looked here, Yelp. Apparently, she does this often. Don't DO IT! Back Forty BBQ is more reliable than this chick.

Do not recommed this company. Period. Book and spend your money elsewhere, ANYWHERE ELSE. This company RUINED a perfectly great wedding day. Very unacceptable, unprofessional, unapologetic, LATE!

Excellent! We had Penguin's cater our annual Billiards Club Dinner at SCR; the buffet table was set up beautifully, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!We had Tri Tip, Grill chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, salad and blueberry cobbler w/vanilla ice cream for dessert; everyone raved about how good the food was!Thank you for doing such a wonderful job!

All I can say is "yum"! Well that's not all. Had them cater an open house at my home today. 50+ people. I had 7 different appetizers so it wasn't cheap. But! It was soooo worth it. Everyone remarked at how delicious the food was and it was very well displayed with beautiful flowers. They brought ice and tubs for drinks too. It was a great experience and I would hire them again in a second.

Ruined our wedding reception. We had family and friends travel from FAR to attend our special day. Mary, the owner, showed up an hour late for set up, and did not apologize but instead made excuses and gave attitude to my mother in law. The food was not great. Not to mention, she ate candy from our candy buffet! What professional does that :( the catering experience was terrible, and I felt so bad for my mother in law for having to spend her money and time dealing with an unprofessional, sub-par catering company. I'm not sorry to give this review.

My business has had several lunches provided by Penguins. Lots of variety, yummy and great customer service. Can't wait for our next event. No wonder they've earned Best of the Best so many years in a row. I love their uniforms too!

Would not recommend this company to anybody ever. I used them for my wedding. When I met with Mary everything seemed great, but as the wedding day got closer I had to call 3 times to get a final quote for my food. On the day of the wedding Mary called me to ask what were my colors so they could bring the appropriate color tablecloths. I also confirmed that day that there would be a water dispenser at their buffet table. She reassured me that water is free and is always served with their food. We confirmed tablecloth colors and everything seemed good to go. They showed up to my wedding with NO tables, NO tablecloths, and NO water. They expected us to provide tables and tablecloths an hour before my ceremony. When I confronted her about this, she acted like I was completely wrong. It was a nightmare. Find a different caterer.

Wedding was great however Penguin was two hours late!

They were amazing! I recently had them cater my backyard wedding and they did an exceptional job! The staff was very professional and the food was delicious! I highly recommend them! Thank you!

Penguin's recently catered appetizers for our home party of approximately 85 guests. All of the food was delicious and the presentation was wonderful! Mary (the owner) and Ryan took care of everything - from set up to clean up (all the leftovers were packed up & left in our refrigerator), and they were very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend!!
