Pecan Park

We went to Folsom for the day. We needed a place to let the boys run before the long ride back to San Jose. The park had a large and small dog side. Water and poop bags available. Love the wooded area around the park.

This morning my toddler and I checked out this park for the first time with some friends and I was pleasantly surprised! The playground has a swing set, a small play structure which for them was perfect and a sports court! They have a Little Free Library that we'll be bringing some children's books to encourage reading for the little ones our next visit, since they currently have just 1 children's book! Lastly they have a rocks garden, "Kindness Rocks" for the kids to do some rock hunting and then return with their own painted rocks to add to the garden! We will be coming back to drop off some rocks we collected at work with her friends after we paint them!I would definitely recommend visiting this park with your family, we had a blast and will be back probably once a week!

As of March 15, 2023, the dog park is closed due to weather. The big field is also closed. It looks like they're doing tree removal of fallen trees from the recent storms. The tennis court and playground are both open.

Pecan Park has a dog park that is great! It has a little dog area and a big dog area. Also built in water bowls that you can press fresh water into with a foot pedal. Plus poop bags available. My little grand dog Shih tzu loves it

Great little neighborhood park! It has a tennis court, a kid's playground area, a basketball court, and a grass field that I see get used fairly frequently for both youth and adult soccer games. It has a small creek that runs through it, and in the back there is a fenced dog park (why I normally come by - my dog needs adventures). I like that the dog park has a small dog and large dog area, and has real grass and trees, and it's enough space that even at the grand opening of the dog park where there were 100+ dogs, it never felt crowded. There are benches in the dog park area for owners to sit if they want, and they are covered so there is shade to be had. There's a bag dispenser, too, so there's no excuse to not pick up after your dog, and for the most part owners and dogs here are friendly and keep an eye on what their dogs are doing. Also has a few pokéstops and a gym, if you are playing pokémon go. Bottom Line: a sweet neighborhood park with plenty of areas for the whole family to stay active, even the four-legged family members.

Tennis courts, playground area, basketball court and now a dog park in the back! Multi use park and it has shade!!Small creek runs through it so it has all those great nature vibes that come with it. Over to the left is 4 picnic tables in the shade in the evening for events!

Great little dog park in Orangevale. Lots of locals hang out here with their dogs, most know each other, but a friendly group. Dog park is half grass, half DG.

Now has a dog park tucked in the back. One side for little, one side for larger dogs, and the shade structure is huge. Lots of trees and squirrels, so my dog was very satisfied.
