Great tasting, freshly made and food always comes out hot. Great prices for the combo plates that come with soup, egg roll, chowmein, fried rice and one entree. Service is always great. One of my favorite Chinese food places in that area. Ordered the orange chicken combo plate and Kung Pao chicken combo. Orange chicken was good but they have two options: original and spicy which is a darker sauce. Both have good flavors but I would recommend the original one which is lighter sauce and has more of an original orange chicken flavor. The spicy is similar to a general chicken with a light hint of orange flavor. Kung pao was very good and cooked to perfection in the right amount of sauce. Great prices!

My husband put these in his vows so I had to come and try. It was very good. The hot and sour soup could have been more sour but it was still good. The General Chicken was crunchy and flavorful but not spicy . The Szechuan Chicken I thought would be more spicy but was very delicious. But the crab and cream cheese wontons are so e of the best I've ever had. I love the shape of them and they are so creamy and the onion pops in flavor. The service was great!! So nice and everything came out so fast! Great soda selection and all In all was a great experience

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in sac! I have been going for years now and it never disappoints. I'm not going to lie the outside of the restaurant is sketchy, but don't let that fool you! There is great food inside and extremely affordable. They have a lot of return and loyal customers for a reason.

Came in on Wednesday around lunchtime for some chicken chow mein takeout. It was OK. Spiciness level was good. I liked the pork chow mein better.

This is our favorite place to get Chinese food. We've tried different dishes and they've never disappointed. Last night, I had a little bit of the chow mein with some of the shrimp that came inside of it as well as some chicken and broccoli. My husband also had some bbq pork fried rice. Yum! Service is always amazing. We usually get it to go and my husband picks it up so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but we will fight the terrible traffic on greenback 10/10 times for Pearl house!

Absolutely fantastic, one of the better Chinese restaurants I've had the pleasure to dine at in the Sacramento area. Absolutely perfect if you want to be satisfied with large portions of well prepared American Chinese food.

We were in the area during lunch hour on Saturday and wanted a Chinese food. We were seated immediately and the service was pretty quick since the restaurant wasn't too busy.- Chicken with salted fish fried rice: the portion was generous regarding the price. Hubby asked for more salted fish and they did deliver. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. There were plenty of chicken & salted fish pieces.- Sweet & sour chicken: the chicken had crispy coating and it was juicy. The sweet & sour sauce was tossed perfectly to coat each pieces. I wish that they gave more veggie as it was only couple pieces of green pepper & pineapple.Overall, a good & affordable Chinese restaurant.

Been coming here for 28 years, since I was a kid. It was the first restaurant we went to when we moved to Foothill Farms. I'll always love the taste of their pot sticker sauce. I've always asked for extra and now they send my mom home with a full quart:) Pearl House is always my request when I visit. Support local see you next time I visit

We were pleasantly surprised when we sat down to dinner at Pearl House. The specials (green beans + meat stir fry) used the freshest produce. The chow mein was a perfect balance of noodles and other ingredients. Kung Pow Chicken was good too.One waitress covered the dining and take-out, but she was cheerful and prompt.The place itself was clean and pleasant. We watched a young family and their child fascinated by the fish tank ("Which one do you want to eat?" asked the dad). All in all a place I wouldn't mind revisiting. One side note: I most often get take-out, but dining in the restaurant itself meant we could fully appreciate the hot, fresh food.It also doesn't hurt that it's next to one of the best Grocery Outlets we've been to... Another surprise!

Seen lots of good reviews I'm convinced not all real the general chicken was dry and hard and tasted like the candy on candy apple all the items tasted like they was all fried in same pot glad I'm not allergic to shell fish cause the s&s chicken tastes kinda like the shrimp the fried rice an chowmain was ok don't think I'd recommend We usually get wonderful I think will stick to that lol
