Pazza Notte

This was a very charming restaurant with an awesome Happy Hour! The zucchini chips, calamari, and truffle fries were delicious! We had the house red wine and a few cocktails- great happy hour selections! Next time, I'll try the pasta options! Great vibes, amazing staff, and tasty food and dessert!

Came in on a Saturday, around 4:30, without reservations and no tables were available. We were invited to sit at the spacious bar instead. Bartender was attentive and friendly. Solid wine list, cocktails looked great, and a handful of beer options available. We had the Caesar salad with chicken which I loved bc the dressing was light- my partner thought the dressing was too light and would have preferred a heavier pour. I also opted for the salmon entree, which was so good and cooked perfectly as requested with a side of asparagus and greens. The pizza looked great as well, but I had to save that for another time. The ambiance is trendy and classy, the bar seats were comfortable. We'll be back, for sure.

Absolutely beautiful and charming Italian spot! I walked past this restaurant multiple times and every single time it is busy and then I got FOMO. We arrive around 7pm on a Saturday night without a reservation (maybe a rookie mistake). Only bar seating was available as they were sold out for dining the rest of the night. Luckily we grabbed seats and were able to eat at the bar. Definitely recommend reservations. I ordered the penne vodka which was tasty and satisfying. I also ordered a strawberry martini. It came with a refill for one price which was great! It was delicious and complimented the meal perfectly.

Pazza Notte is a beautiful Italian American Restaurant in Downtown Sacramento. This is their second location; the first is in Manhattan, NY... so it's pretty darned cool to have them in our midst!My husband and I tried their Caesar Salad, Fried Calamari, and Pizza Di Enzo (mozzarella, tomato sauce, prosciutto and arugula). While we enjoyed all of our dishes, we expected a bit more from the pizza (more flavor and better chew from the crust). They may have had an off-day though and we still want to visit again soon!The service was outstanding: our waiter was engaging and checked on us several times to refill drinks and make sure we were good.

We've been a few times since my first review and the main thing that has improved is the service. We seemed to always get the same pretentious guy who corrected how other patrons pronounced things. Last night we were helped by Kai who was so kind and friendly. The food is always fine. The house bread is great and always comes with something different, I believe we had olive oil, parm, and herbs. Last night I had fettuccine with pesto. I love the space, we have only been seated indoors when we have visited, but the patio seems lovely as well. We were offered some limoncello to end our meal which we all loved.

We had a delightful evening and everything was so tempting had to try more than we really needed. We started with the calamari fritti and Insalata Frutti Di Mare. Then we tried the Pizza Margherita Alla Napolitana and Pappardelle Di Mare. The seafood was generous and everything was delicious!As we were leaving my husband told me service was impeccable. Our server really did a great job with the flow and making our celebration a special one. I tend to like quiet establishments and Pazza was vibrant but no loud music so the ambiance was very enjoyable. Can't wait for our next visit! So many more great menu options to try.

Talk about yummy!! We don't go to Italian restaurants too often because I can be very picky. Everything here checked all the boxes. We came and there was over an hour wait but the host said we could sit at the front bar area if interested. I was surprised since we had our two year old, 4 month old and a stroller but he said we could squeeze in. The restaurant was very nice and clean. The bartenders were very attentive and didn't mind the kiddos. Offered a small cup of water to my daughter and complimentary bread. Calamari- very generous portion, super tender, and crispy breading. Fettuccini with pesto- added shrimp and they were good size. Definitely not tiny shrimp, so I didn't mind extra $10. Portions was pretty good. I was satisfied but also ate the calamari too. Penne Vodka sauce- large portion and also tasted great. Added shrimp to the dish and again they were very good size. The pasta tasted like it was fresh made pasta which I loved! Everything tasted great and doesn't surprise me why it was so packed. I want to check out their happy hour next time- looked like they had some good deals. Food came out pretty fast and was delivered nice and hot. Again, all staff we interacted with was very nice and accommodated us with our two little girls.

I rarely eat Italian food since I cannot eat cheese but I had a really great experience here! Made reservation for Saturday evening. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. I had to ask for no cheese on my entree but they didn't have a problem with that =D. The fried zucchini was a bit too greasy but it was a good option.From beginning until the end, all the staffs were super friendly, considerate, caring and attentive. They really did portray as a high class restaurant :). I cannot wait to come back again next time to try different items.

I wanted to love this place. I had heard the food was mediocre, but it's a lovely european style restaurant with a southern facing patio (a must in the winter). But I've now been four or five times and just can't seem to get into the vibe. The flatbread/pizza was massive but nothing to rave about. The martinis...aren't. They're mixed with all sorts of other purees and liquors (tequila, even), and while some sound tasty...they didn't even have the lillet for a vesper martini. You allegedly get the leftovers when they make a martini, in some cases essentially a second drink for free, which is nice. I had great service from the bar, but dealing with the hostess stand...turned me off. Judgy, borderline rude, we were told there was a wait, to quote: "It'll be a minute...or more like :30." I can't go lower than the three stars...it's totally adequate and has good reviews from a few people I know, it's just rubbed me wrong several times too many.
