Patriots Park

On a mission to find a new park today. Success! What a great find. Two main play structures. One for the older kids, one for the younger kids. Lots of shade, which is very hard to find at local playgrounds. The play structures are even shaded with the canvas overhangs. A nice cemented trail around the park for walking, scooters, or bike riding. Picnic benches for lunchtime. There's even a half court basketball hoop, although it does not look regulation height

Neat little bridge at the entrance. Playground is decently sized with multiple slides, a springy bridge, lots to climb on, and obstacles. Also has a shade over it. There is a smaller playground next to it as well which features a tunnel. Pretty area with trees and paths surrounds it, and a nice small memorial wall. The only con to this park would be the restroom. A porta-potty that's clearly not maintained regularly.

New getaway place for my son and I. Close to home and tucked away in the community. The playground is clean and has two separate areas for big and littles.

I would say this park is ok. I would love it if they had the play area fenced together or separate it wouldn't make a difference. But for me to keep track of two different kids in the play area would be a lot easier. I would be more willing to let my daughter play on the bigger side while I'm with the little one no to far away. The appearance of the park overall looks maintained but it's the little things that make look not taken care of. Trash in both play areas and the last time I took a walk around the park it seemed a homeless person was living in the back of the park. If the park was maintained more and fenced it would be an excellent place

This is a great park the playground is huge! It is clean and as of today free from graffiti. Love the giant kite shade awnings to guard against the blazing sun. One downside there was 1 homeless person there but I think that is not the norm. We will be back again for another play date.
