Cute little place that is a lot smaller than their Folsom location. Smaller menu, but just as delicious! Great coffee too.

Pastry Nouveau in Roseville is the sister store of Julian's Patisserie and Cafe in Folsom.I love the Florentine Cookie! It is more like a dessert bar than a cookie, though. Chock of chocolate and nuts. It was also very reasonably priced at $3.50.Pastry Nouveau also makes its own sorbet and gelato at an off-site location. I liked the Mango Passion Fruit sorbet. $5 for a packed small soup sized cup. Probably most ice cream stores would call it medium size. I don't think you can ask for samples given the sorbet and gelato are prepacked and kept in a mini freezer. The Cheese Danish is so beautiful and appetizing. It didn't taste as amazing as it looked, but I am still tempted to get it again. $4.50.The Almond Croissant is one of the most popular items, but it didn't do anything for me. $6.25.Servers are polite and courteous, helpful and willing to answer questions and offer recommendations.Maybe someday I will try the Quiche, Croque Monsieur, Egg Salad Sandwich, or Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich.Free wifi. Indoor seating. I have so far only ordered to go. The restaurant is open from 8 am to 3 pm. It is located on Eureka Rd and Rocky Ridge Dr in the same plaza with Sienna, Ruen Thai, and Yang Kee Dumpling. It occupies where the Parlor Ice Cream Puffs used to be.

Ordered croque monsieur $12.95 + spinach (spinach + garlic + cheese) crepe $14.95. Both came w a side of fruit and both were ok. I thought the spinach crepe didn't have much flavor. Definitely healthy, lots of spinach in the middle. Just needed a sauce of some kind... fruits were fresh and delicious. Croque monsieur was also just cheese and ham, no sauce on top like expected. Felt like both items were something we could have made at home. I liked that they had a little station w condiments, water, utensils and they had water w lemon. The pastries looked delicious and large. Price seemed reasonable (most were ~$5). Photos of their egg salad croissant and chicken salad croissant look promising...The service was nice. The decor was cute. Ambiance overall was nice. Parking was plentiful. I think we'll come back for pastries but not sure about for brunch-type food.

Came back after almost a year. Coffee prices remain the same, so that's good. Menu has been extensively updated since. Coffees and food now served in reusable tableware, which was another plus.I actually was here for the monkey bread as an errand to my wife. They didn't have it today, so i settled for the good ole Julian's Almond Croissant, Fresh Fruit Danish and White Chocolate Cranberry Scone to-go. Since I had time to kill, I decided to eat in and ordered a Latte and Tomato Basil Quiche. Surprise, surprise. They were served in black ceramicware , as opposed to the paper cups and plates a year ago. My quiche was served with a side of fruit (strawberry, blueberry, pineapple and melon). That's another star. The two lady servers manning the counter and kitchen were nice and patient. I came in with only one customer working on her laptop and left with the front dining area filled up (20 pax) and more people lining up almost out the door. That's on a Thursday. The rear dining area, which sits 8 and the patio with a seating of 4, were unoccupied. Quiche and coffee were great. Delivered the Almond Croissant and Mocha to my wife at work. Husband duties done for this morning. Pastries, I'm sure, will be crunchy tasty once we'll reheat them in the toaster tomorrow.

Monkey bread was delicious, crepe was decent, drinks were yummy. Pretty tight squeeze in there on a Sunday afternoon. First timers and enjoyed our experience. Hope to try again when it's not so busy! There is extra seating in the back, but still very limited.

Stopped by while in Roseville for some pastries. It was a very cute little spot with friendly staff. I am sad I didn't order any drinks as I had already had one from a different spot but I'd definitely be back to give their drinks a try. The pastries were for a friend and they were well presented.

Food: ordered their avocado toast and a caramel latte. Avocado toast was a perfect mix of sugar and salty. Bread was nice and crunchy, the honey gave a nice sweetness, where the sunflower seeds gave some saltiness. Came with a cup of fresh fruits. Meal was filling for me. Latte was delicious in a nice big cup. Perfect size. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. Service: surprisingly fast service. The place was full and looked busy, however, I did not wait long at all for my order. Employees were sweet. Ambience: cute, bright establishment. Cute little plants hanging and a whole white theme. Enough to put out some positive vibes.

Such a lovely little bakery and coffee shop! We came in on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. We got coffees in "for here" mugs which they have if you ask for one, as well as a ham quiche and a warmed cinnamon roll - both so good but the cinnamon role was definitely the best. The quiche came with a side of cut fruit, which was a lovely surprise. They have whole quiches for order as well.

Really cute little spot for breakfast/coffee. They have lots of options and they do the dishes well! Service was nice and quick as well even though they were a little busy. I got a double shot espresso, smoked salmon toast and avocado toast, which came with a side of mixed green salad+feta. Took home a butter croissant and oatmeal raisin cookie. The bread for the toast was good rustic sourdough. Avo was fresh, smoked salmon was fresh- overall super yummy, esp the dressing on the mixed greens. My only gripe is I wish the bread was toasted more. But that's being picky The butter croissant was a little bland, like it was made with watery butter, but still decent. Oatmeal raisin cookie was good. Not sure I would come back for those two but maybe the other pastries are the way to go! Next time I'll try their quiche. Every food item on the menu looked great.

We hadn't been out to breakfast for a while and my husband wanted an almond croissant so we were going to go to Julian's in Folsom...but then Pastry Nouveau (Julian's) popped up in Roseville so we decided to give it a try.So glad we did. Small place, plenty of parking, small tables inside with a couple of tables outside. Service was awesome, everyone so friendly. My husband had the almond croissant which he requested to be warmed, which is our go to at Julian's in Folsom. Soooo good! Large croissant with sweet almond paste inside covered with almond slices and powdered sugar. I had the basil tomato quiche since I was trying to eat healthier. I think in actuality my husband's breakfast was healthier because it was a tad smaller than my quiche. My quiche was huge - and I don't like to waste food, so I ate it all. It was light and fluffy with big (sundried) tomato flavor and a flaky crust. The quiche came with a cup of fresh fruit that hit the spot.I like that there's another option to Julian's in Folsom because sometimes we have more errands to run on the Roseville side (e.g. checking out Thunder Valley). We highly recommend this place and when you get there be sure to order the almond croissant. It's delicious!
