Park Terrace Swimming & Tennis Club

I came here for a Friday evening men's tennis league doubles match. I've been here before. The club is on the smaller side compared to Spare Time clubs. The tennis courts are well maintained. They have filtered water access but no ice machine. The men's locker room was clean with nice showers.

We were a party of almost 50 and everything worked out so nicely. Starting from Meghan, who gave me the tour and facilitated our reservation. She's professional and her communication is clear. Park Terrace has made some updates by painting the room, painting the bar, and fixing some of the ceiling tiles and it made all the difference. We provided our floor plan and when we arrived, the facility, including the bathrooms, were clean and the tables were placed as requested. There were plenty of garbage cans provided. The power strip in place by the bar was dead but plugged our devices directly into the wall outlet and everything worked. As guests arrived, 3 guests immediately asked what we paid to rent the facility as they were interested in renting. It was impressive.

Not sure who has taken over the Terrace but in the past, they had the decency to let neighbors who share a back fence know they were having swim meets. If I sleep with my windows open my sleep is disturbed at 6 am on Saturdays because the MC is checking his mic and playing music it's one thing to have to deal with all the terrible parking by it's patrons on my block but the noise early in the morning it way too much!!!! I'm going to file a noise complaint and put cones in front of my house like the folks do on the street next to me.

I mainly come here to swim since they have six HEATED, 25 yard lanes available! They also offer two diving pools each with meter long diving boards, a wading pool for kids six and under, indoor and outdoor showers, plus, an outdoor spa. This is a private, members-only, clubhouse so you can always fill out an application to join (http://ptswimtennis.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Membership-Application.pdf) and aside from swimming they also have tennis courts, youth swim leagues/camps, lifeguard lessons, and a ton of other activities! The neighborhood is also very SAFE so I never worry about leaving the club around closing time (9 PM). It's also open seven days a week from 8 AM - 9 PM!This clubhouse is on the smaller size but I enjoy coming here since it's close to my house and everyone is always so friendly! You can rent the entire place out for holiday parties, birthdays, work gatherings, etc. It's usually cheaper during the weekdays versus weekends. They have a nice sized dance floor and their kitchen is a big as well! In high school, my friends would host various dance and graduation parties here and they were always a lot of fun! Overall, this is a great place for families to come and spend some quality time together! It's also good for those looking to get their swim on!! I love the pools here and they always manage to keep everything pretty clean and chlorinated! :) If you don't belong to a gym and are looking for something fun to do this summer definitely look into joining Park Terrace---especially if you enjoy swimming and/or tennis!

I love Park Terrace for all the community emphasis! Only draw back is there was this new swim lesson teacher with a ridiculous box contraption in the pool that made me seriously doubt the credibility of the pool. It was a safety hazard this thing. Shes is also extremely overpriced (compared to the dozens of other highly qualified swim coaches that are active members of the Park Terrace community). I would never have my kids take lessons from her and the board shouldn't support her. However i will continue to support the coaches and the other aspect of the club.. But not this nonsense.

I love the staff here they are exceptional! This review was for an event we did 11/26/22. Prior to the event we were Back-and-forth decorating and getting measurements plus trying to figure out the layout . Every single person we encountered was extremely helpful, nice and patient. If they couldn't allow us to enter because of another event they told us but made sure to find a time that we could come. They were super accommodating. If we forgot something they tried to see if they had it so we could borrow from them. The SPACE rented was super nice enough for 100 ppl as well as a nice dance floor and kitchen along with multiple freezers for storing ice. All we had to do was bring our own style to make it ours! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! I especially want to give shots out to BRICE, LANIE, GIGI AND LAST BUT NO WAY LEAST SPENCER WHO WAS JOHNNY ON THE SPOT ! THANKS AGAIN. I RECOMMEND THIS EVENT CENTER WITHOUT A DOUBT.
