Papa Gianni's Ristorante

I LOVE Papa Gianni's Italian food. Especially their paste sauce. It is so delicious I always ask for extra sauce, I love to dip garlic bread in it. No matter what you choose it will be delicious, not greasy or salty. I feel like every time we go we get awonderful service from KC. He is very knowledgeable, professional and welcoming.Over all you can't go wrong going to this amazing restaurant, where you feel like home. Thank you Papa Gianni'sPs. Here is my favorite dish

Went here last year and loved the food, so much so we made the 45-minute drive again for our anniversary this year. The food is a 10, but the customer service ensures I won't return.I called days ahead to confirm the latest reservation they could give us which ended up being 8:30 PM but when we hit a little traffic and called to say we'd be running 3 minutes late, (thought i was being nice letting them know) the hostess told us they wouldn't seat us if we were late. I asked for the manager, hoping for understanding, but she was even ruder--told us (in a VERY annoyed tone) that "the doors would lock if we weren't there by 8:35 because the hostess made the mistake of booking us late as is". Her angry tone made us feel very unwelcome, but with nowhere else open on a Sunday night (other than fast food) we chose to keep driving there. We pulled off the freeway at 8:35 and missed our reservation knowing the doors would be locked. Was having one of the toughest days today and was looking forward to this one dinner through the struggle of my whole day and that lady ruined what was supposed to be a special night and the glimmer of excitement in my whole day i was hanging onto. A little kindness could have made all the difference in her telling us they couldn't take us past that timing nicely and explaining THEY made a mistake in booking us too late as is... i mean at the LEAST been nice. I'll be telling friends and family to steer clear of this place until they staff people who know how to treat paying customers with respect.. and for the lady/manager: i will pray for you, in that at the least you were just having a hard day like me, and that you are not always that rude.

Dear foodies everywhere, here is your one-stop place to go for all things Italian dishes. Be it pasta, chicken, veal, seafood, or pizza...Papa Gianni's has it all!Their staff and service is always top notch. I would recommend making reservations so no waiting is needed. There is plenty of parking in the unassuming strip mall it is situated in.Inside you are greeted with tantalizing aromas and it is filled with booths and tables to accommodate both small and larger parties. This is a perfect place for an intimate date night, or even a birthday celebration like we had for my MIL tonight.We've been here too many times for me to make a single recommendation, because everything I have tried is seriously delicious. The hubster's fave is their gnocchi, made slightly different from traditional-style recipes, but he orders it every visit. Go and enjoy Papa Gianni's as soon as you can! You can thank me later!!

This place is our favorite Italian restaurant! We love that the entrees come with salad and a basket of baked garlic bread. All dishes were sooo delish and portions are generous. My fave is the Ravioli, Mmmmm good!! Customer service is always on point and consistent. It's always busy so reservations are recommended. It's also one of the few places that you can get a mudpie done right!

Strong 4.5 stars. Papa Gianni's has become a monthly dinner rotation for our family. Honestly probably bi-weekly!The food from appetizers, entree options are all pretty good! We've been here a couple times a month and always leave stuffed. My family has our staple favorites now which I'll get into below...For starters - We've had the calamari fritta appetizer - as expectedThe Steamed Mussels which is sautéed with white wine, onions, garlic, lemon and parsley - yummyThe Bruschetta - Tomatoes, onions, garlic and basil dressed with olive oil, topped with parmesan and fresh basil, served on toasted bread. It's ok.My fave is the Pollo Rosamarina - Chicken breast and potatoes, sautéed in a light rosemary cream sauce. This is hands down my go to dish and I've had a few other dishes but only get this now.Hubby's so predictable and his fav is the Frutta di Mare - Mussels, shrimp and scallops, sautéed in a light cream sauce. Served over linguini. Sometimes it comes out too saucyMy oldest has ordered the Michelangelo dish on repeat the last few visits - Chicken breast and sun-dried tomatoes, sautéed in a creamy marinara sauce Served over fettucciniMy youngest has started to really like my chicken fav but his go to entrees have been linguine with clams, shrimp scampi or shrimp Alfredo. He loves his seafood. We all love the spumoni ice cream before departing. Service is always on point. It's definitely family dining spot and gives you that family atmosphere.Oh and weekends, make reservations. They get packed! :)If you haven't tried them, you definitely should give em a shot!

Yes I recommend! We did take out tonight and were very happy with everything! What a gem hidden in Cameron Park. Authentic Italian flavours and nice side servings. Heat level was as described. Skip the bruschetta to go cause it's pretty simple and dies t measures to the authentic flavors of the entrees.

Ordered the Italian salad, side of meatballs, and veg. minestrone soup for dine in. Staff was super welcoming, the wait without reservation wasn't too long, and service for a busy Saturday evening was good. Spacious and clean dining area. Recommend and would revisit!

This place was pretty damn good! Somehow, I missed taking a picture of the garlic bread. Overall, great quality and the flavor was extraordinarily tasty! The lasagna was rich and creamy, mmmm. I noticed they have a lunch special which I look forward to coming back for. Wine was fabulous. Excited we finally got to try here as reservations are a must!

We are not from the area and went to Papa Gianni's based upon reviews. It was so dang good! I had the eggplant parmigiana. And had it again for breakfast this morning as the portions were huge. Prices were good for what you go and the service was fast, efficient and friendly. I was there with a young friend that did not have a lot of fine dining experience and our server made it so comfortable for her.

We stopped by here after my daughters basketball game one night. We didn't have to wait long for a table and I enjoyed everything we ordered. The side salad with the creamy Italian dressing was super good and the garlic bread - absolutely delicious. I ordered the Fettuccini Primavera and it was perfectly saucy and filled with veggies. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.
