Customer service truly makes all the difference! The on-duty manager/lead went above and beyond to make my dad's night unforgettable. He had been eyeing the beef rib bone, and we encouraged him to ask if he could have one. To our surprise and delight, just five minutes later, a beef rib bone--with meat still on it--was brought out just for him!The Gauchos were incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to see if he wanted another serving. I also loved that whenever we requested a specific meat, it would arrive shortly after! The meats were delicious and well-seasoned without being overly salty. While the lamb was a bit tough, everything else was packed with flavor. The salad bar was fantastic as well--but be careful not to fill up too quickly!Overall, this Brazilian steakhouse is one of the best I've experienced, and I can't wait to return!

First time trying this place. PositivesThe meats are well seasoned and cooked well The meat guys were nice and attentive The receptionists were friendly Negatives We were seated. The table didn't have salt and pepper shakers. No knives No one came after we were seated to explain how things work We got our appetizers so that we would have plates so the meat guys can start giving us meats We asked for salt and pepper shakers - didn't come until an hour later We ordered a bottle of wine - didn't come u til 45 minutes later We asked for Brazilian bread - the first batch was stale and obviously not fresh - the second batch was fresh We were going to pay - we were asked if we wanted dessert - not explained that it's additional fee. We got the bill - no penWe are 15 minutes still waiting for the to go dessertShe just came back and asked if the foam arrived - that would be a no! Still waiting - I koAll would not be this patient but they keep apologizing Waiting again Had to put more money for parking We may just get up and walk out and the heck with the flanHmmm not sure if we would come back Sad because the food was good But the little things that were missed or forgotten was consistent

Pampas seems to be improving with every visit. On my most recent visit they hit it out of the park in every category.First, impeccable service. The host was warm and welcoming. He made us feel at home. The different cuts were brought out quickly and served with care. The restaurant has an elegant vibe, but if you're dressed casually they don't hold it against you. Second, the salad bar had all the usual fixins, but if I come here and just eat the candied bacon then I'm a happy man. I don't know how they do it but the crunch, sweetness, and savory flavor all come together to make it irresistible. I have to stop myself from filling up on bacon in order to eat the BBQ which really is the star of the show. The BBQ has REALLY improved since the first time I came here and I'm hoping it will get better and better. My favorite item is the picanha with jalepeno. It's the perfect bite of salty and spicy. Even their non protein items like their garlic toast had the perfect garlic to cheese ratio. In my opinion they have mastered the seasonings. Don't forget to try the pineapple and their cheese with honey drizzle. Sleeper items that don't get as much attention but are on the same level as their meats. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Sacramento looking for a nice night out with great service and an elegant ambiance who also doesn't want to have to stop on the way home for a burger because they didn't have enough to eat. This place will send you home with a full stomach. Highly recommend.

This was our first time at this location. We came on a Saturday night and there were only 4 other parties of 2 there. The ambiance is on the higher end but there is no dress code enforced. It's about $73 for the all you can eat table service. Someone comes around to your table if your card is flipped on the yes side and cuts you a slice of meat. You have a self serve area with different options- I was hoping they would have lobster bisque but it was a different soup this evening. Food was delicious!! The rib eye stole the show.We tried: picahna which is a cut of sirloin I believe Rib eye (one of my favorite items)Filet mignon - brought over to our table 2 times, the first time was well done and the second time was extremely rare Bacon wrapped filet - filet was well done and tough Beef ribSkirt steak (bottom sirloin) has a glaze on it Grilled cheese with honey (one of my favorite items) Pork chopSalmon Shrimp cocktail (self serve)Cesar salad with romaine lettuce (self serve)Candied bacon (self serve) - deliciousssChicken in a cream sauce (self serve)Mashed potato's (served to your table)Cheese bread (served to your table) Crème brûlée (additional charge of $12)Chocolate lava cake to go (additional charge of $12)I am so full and grateful for the friendly service and overall great experience here! Would definitely come back.

The service was the best part of the experience here. The wait staff were really nice and helpful. The food was standard to what you'd find at a Brazilian steakhouse restaurant. From the buffet area, I enjoyed the candied bacon, Gouda, pesto the most. My favorite orders was the garlic picana, cheese and honey, and pineapple. The location was classy as well. The only con was the miscommunication regarding the tues-thurs deal and our reservation. Before coming in, my husband called specifically about the $44 deal and booked a reservation. When we received our checked we were charged full price because they provided the elevated experience. The elevated experience included the ribeye and lamb (my husband and I don't eat lamb). We ended up paying the regular price due to the miscommunication.

We had a large party for a birthday reservations were on the late side 8:30pm. The sides bar was not stocked well idk if it's because it was getting towards closing time . I just feel that for the price you pay it should be well stocked until closing. There were only like five options of meat and it took along time for the servers to come around. They also ran out of bananas sadly. I just feel for the price it should have been way better.

Everything was fantastic! You go to the salad bar first, and then the servers just come around about every 8 min with meat. Best thing is the pineapple! Servers were all super sweet and attentive.

We were excited when Pampas opened, we've been to many Brazilian Steakhouses during our travels and here in Sacramento and it's always a fun treat. We stopped in on a Saturday night around 5:30pm without a reservation and were seated right away. There were plenty of tables and it's very open. I was surprised that the restaurant was both upscale and romantic, but also had better lighting than I expected. The team made sure we knew about the experience and took our drink orders. We ended up ordering a regular caipirinha and a kiwi caipirinha and then headed to the salad bar to see the offerings. They had a variety of salad options with a couple lettuce options and many toppings. They also had some cheeses, charcuterie, pickled items and hot items. Some items that stuck out to me were the candied bacon (very good) and the smoked salmon which was a unique offering. I also liked the olives, mozzarella tomato and basil salad, and pickled onions. Some Yelpers mentioned soup options, which I didn't see during our dinner, but I'd love to try them in the future.Once we were back at the table the servers were very attentive and continued to bring different dishes by. They had 12 meat options and our favorites were the top sirloin, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, and both picanha options. Also, do not miss the pineapple with cinnamon- it's a great pallet cleanser or dessert. When they come around all the meat is hot, fresh and flavorful. You can let them know about your preferred cooks on meat and if you'd like more or less of the items. You can also let them know if you're looking for specific items. Our dinner for two was $246.53 after tip, for two Rodizio dinners ($73.95 each) and three caipirinhas ($14 each). Definitely more of a treat or special occasion meal that you'll want to come hungry for. We took advantage of street parking with Parkmobile just a short walk away and it was easy and affordable for downtown. If you're planning to come during busier hours you can make a reservation with them or even through the Yelp app.

My husband and I wanted to try this new restaurant so we went on my birthday. That was a big mistake, we should've went to Fogo De Chao! The only good thing about this place is the water and the service was ok. The steak was HORRIBLE! They had chicken in a sauce and salmon on the hot bar, only problem is it was cold. Save your money. We definitely won't be back.
