Check out the case of goods, everything is made from scratch and pure love. Major bonus points for it being one of the cleanest establishments I've ever set foot into. Kellie did an amazing job on our wedding cake. From the start her communication was excellent with every detail discussed from the taste testing and flavor selection to the sketch approval of the design, the process was seamless. We decided to do 3 flavors, one for each tier (cream cheese strawberry on vanilla, cream cheese blueberry on lemon and vanilla apricot on almond). The sugar flowers were stunning and the flavors were unique and delicious! Highly recommend!

Stopped in before lunch to check out the dessert case. Returned after lunch to collect a few sweets. My friend selected the personal sized lemon meringue pie and absolutely loved it. I took two cookies home. One: chocolate crinkle Two: chocolate chip. Both were delicious. Planning to come back when I need a cake. Everything looks amazing and the service is friendly.

What a wonderful cake shop! It was exciting to see this new shop here in Carmichael. I bought a lemon tart and a confetti cupcake. The lemon tart was so soft and sweet, with its decadent marshmallow merengue. The cupcake was decorated with its mound of frosting. Perfect for birthdays.Let's talk about the beautiful wedding cakes. These look amazing. I was so impressed with all the sugar flowers!! Wow! I will be returning to try more.

I was going to brunch with my bestie and we decided to stop in for a sweet treat for later.Blown away by the flavors and amazingness.My favorite was the key lime tart!The cake art was beautiful!Modern decor inside. All the tables had booked for tasting signs which I get but still, maybe have one for if someone wanted to eat on there premise.Otherwise please support local and give them a try!

My husband special ordered a batch of gluten free cupcakes for our little girls baby shower. Kelly was so easy to work with and a pleasure to meet at pickup. Adorable shop with nice decor and stunning cake displays. Although no gluten free on the menu, she can do nearly ANYTHING on the menu as gluten free. Easily the best GF cupcakes I have ever had, perfect texture and flavor. Delicious butter cream and sugar flowers on top! So excited to have them in the hood and for their official opening in a few weeks. Can't wait to use her again for our next event, birthday or holiday!

We tried a variety of treats, and they were all delicious! The lemon meringue bar and their cookies were stand outs. The owners are who help you in the shop - they were so friendly, described all the desserts, and offered great suggestions as well. We will definitely go back!

Omg what can I say. Ordered bday cake for our OC girl and hands down best cake we've ever had. Look out Freeport and Ettores there's a cake stir that blows you out of the water!

We chose Kellie at Palette Cakes as the dessert vendor (dessert bar and wedding cake) for our wedding at Park Winters, and we are so happy we did. 11/10 experience all around.Not only were the desserts exceptional (I'll get to that later), but it was also just so easy and pleasant working with Kellie. She was incredibly responsive--even while setting up her new storefront in Carmichael. She also offered invaluable advice on table setup, cake design, and menu composition. We felt like we were in capable hands the whole time, which is exactly what any couple wants when they're in the midst of wedding planning.Now, onto the desserts! Choosing what to include in our dessert bar was challenging because every flavor sounded phenomenal. And they truly did not disappoint. Each dessert was beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. We loved watching our guests rave over each item and go back for seconds (and thirds!).Here's what we had:- Cream Cheese Blueberry on Lemon Wedding Cake: We chose a single-tier, 6" cutting cake that looked gorgeous (burnt mauve base with flowers and cherry blossoms made out of sugar) and tasted even better. Guests thought the sugar flowers were real!Mini Cupcakes:- Cappuccino Hazelnut on Vanilla: A coffee lover's dream.- Honey Roasted Peanut Butter on Chocolate: Like a Reese's peanut butter cup. Rich, decadent, without being too sweet.Chocolate Hazelnut Tarts: Like a deconstructed Ferrero-Rocher that just melts in your mouth.Lemon Meringue Tarts: Lemon punches through beautifully. Perfect crust, no sogginess at all.Oreo Cream Puffs: Super light and creamy. Gives you the joy of eating an Oreo without feeling like you're downing a sugar bomb.Salted White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies: Never thought oatmeal cookies could taste so good, but they can when Kellie makes them. Do not underestimate these cookies!Crazy Cornflake Cookies: Instantly takes you back to times when you were a kid having cereal at breakfast or or biting into a freshly baked cookie at the mall.We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out, and we're grateful to Kellie and Palette Cakes for helping make our day so memorable. Palette Cakes was included on several of the 'recommended vendor' lists that my husband and I received when we were beginning our wedding planning process. When I saw the cakes on the website and Instagram, I knew I wanted to reach out to Kellie to learn more--her creations are BEAUTIFUL! Kellie is friendly, responsive, and so talented! We really enjoyed the tasting cakes we got to try but loved the lemon blueberry cake with cream cheese frosting! This flavor was perfect and refreshing for our early September wedding :-) Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning and fit in with our summertime and wildflower design. Kellie listened to our vision, provided helpful suggestions, and really nailed the look!
