Oh Paco your standards are so low your mentors would be very disappointed. Yelp failed me on this one or people in Hangtown just have no idea about Mexican food. Plain and simple everything came out of a can. Salsa seemed like a mish-mash of various jars all mixed together - one fire roasted and another pico de gallo but nothing fresh about it. Beans were bland and were nothing more special than El Mexicano or Rosarita. Enchilada sauce was bright red so a dead giveaway for food dye that comes from a canned sauce. Oh yeah and no shredded beef, only ground beef?? All served up on a cold plate so the rice was not hot when delivered. All four of us dining had the same experience. Also how annoying is it when the server will not bring an itemized receipt but instead brings only the device to the table to swipe your card?!Ambiance in the restaurant is so so. Typical corona decor everywhere and hard chairs with tables no booths. Definitely no cozy vibes. The best part of the meal was a modelo.

What an amazing stop for authentic and fast Mexican food on the way home from Tahoe. The Al pastor is the best I've ever had and I've certainly had my fair share of:) Cheyenne was the most wonderful waitress, super attentive and got us in and out so we could make our way home to the Bay Area! We'll be back for sure, can't wait to try the rest of the menu!!!! This is a must stop if you like your authentic Mexican food!

Ordered door dash for the first time. Asked for no rice double beans. Got rice. Enchilada barely had any sauce and the ground beef was burnt. No utensils.. I usually go to the Pollock Pines location. This one is horrible

Best in town: Margaritas! Paco's is the place to go for top tier foods and drinks, fast service, kind staff and great vibes inside :)5 minute wait for two huge margaritas, large W.15 minutes wait for food, came out sizzlin fam! Mannnn the tortas here hit like no other, exceptional; simply scrumptious! Wet burrito that my girl got had my mouth watering... All in all a place you MUST visit while in Placerville! Thanks for the grub!

Dannnnng! I left for 2 years, what happened to the food!? Second time I've been here this month and it's so awful. I couldn't even choke down the chicken flautas and the Birria tacos were burnt. Beer was flat. I used to come here twice a week when I lived up this way. Definitely skip moving forward

Absolute best Mexican food in the Placerville region. The margaritas are fabulous and giant. My favorites are the Chile Verde tostado, any of the tacos but especially the fish taco, and the chole relleno. That being said pretty much everything there is really good. Also the prices are way cheaper than any of the other Mexican restaurants worth eating. The owners are very friendly and nice.If you're hungry in the area then definitely give them a tryWell worth the search to find them, they are in the strip mall but the view from the street is blocked by another business.

Wonderful spot serving up a blend of Mexican and El Salvadoran food. Paco's location in Placerville is good but I feel like this one is much better. Make sure you try their salsa bar, whatever that tan salsa is, is FIRE. They have a small bar to drink beer and watch TV at and the service is top notch. If you are lucky enough to have Paco in the kitchen, the food is even better!
