Orangevale Community Center

On Thursday nights from 3 to 8:30 there is a farmers market and awesome music. They have every Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 lots of great music homegrown produce, honey and arts and crafts. Great place to go if you just want to chill and relax they also serve wine and beer, food trucks and try the tacos bring the kids and enjoy an evening out.

My boyfriend, daughter and I have been loving it here, on the 12th we picked up some desserts, bread and yogurt(pictured) at their Orangevale Farmer's Market that runs every Thursday from 3pm-8pm and today we walked along their trail and my daughter played on their little playground! They also have a swimming pool with a big slide we would love to check out when it's open and this smoke clears and classes for children! I would highly recommend this center and we will definitely be back soon to explore more of what they have to offer!

This place is wonderful. While we went only for the park, there is so much to do. They have 2 softball and baseball fields, soccer fields, a playground, a pool and an awesome little walking trail. They have a nice parking lot, which plenty of spots. They also have restrooms!The playground was super cute and small, yet the perfect size. I absolutely love the turf ground. (Less bumps and scratches that way)The structure had some engaging features like a musical kid sized xylophone, enclosed tunnels, slides, bridges and fun things to climb. They did NOT have any swings which is a huge bummer! I love that this structure is more toddler friendly than some in the area. Probably not the best structure for the older kids, but there is still plenty to do in the area. There are some questionable people near the trails at times, so just stay safe and aware.

Locked me and my nephew inside Pecan Park with no warning however they reached out to us and assured us that won't happen again thank u !

Love the events, classes, and Community meetings held. I love their special needs work program, and tree lighting event! If you can go to the big garage sale go! It would look nicer if they would take care the field that will someday be the library, but a new library would be marvelous!

Currently here. Waste of money Tuesdays & Thursdays overcrowded with sunrise rec center and elementary school kids. This is not even safe there is 200 some kids and 6 lifeguards! I am never bringing my kids here again. There is adults trying to swim why not dedicate a section to adults and section to these camp kids ??! Spoke to jason the guy running the place he just laughed it of. Yes its a public pool but if you have camp kids coming every one of those days u should say that on your FB or your site because no one can swim how crowded it is. Even the lifeguard said he wished they had a designated area for them and adults. Why not dedicate a day to the daycare & camp kids and the rest to actual public. This place is poorly ran, lots of attitude workers, overworked lifeguards, an jason manager that probably ran a cvs before this, melissa in the ov parks office is a whole another story. She laughed and kept saying its a public pool even after i told her my son got hit by a kid from the camp & couldnt get out of the pool because kids were crowding the railings.

The people are friendly and the place is clean. I wish they had bottled water and coffee.

As a senior and a recent widow, I discovered a wealth of activities and a wonderful resource. I have been very pleased with the staff and their helpfulness. The also have activities such as movies, dance classes and day trips, as well as more involved trips, such as an upcoming trip to Ireland, on which I have scheduled to go.
