One of the best Coworking locations in Sacramento! I used this coworking space for four months while I was studying for an exam. The daily coffee and snacks were perfect and great! The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. I had the 24/7 access membership and it was perfect. I was able to study late and on weekends. I highly recommend this location if you are in need a location to work for the day or for a long period. Well worth the investment!

Adorable Art Exhibit ExperienceSITREPCan I use the word "adorable" to describe a coworking space? It was a fun chance to meet up with my lovely long time friend (and fellow Yelper) Karin B. and enjoy the creative passions of the Stranger Things world of marvels, which Karin is a large promoter for! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/outlet-coworking-sacramento?select=Wzn0wn519RmQQD6rS9Q8NATHE SETUPProps to Outlet Coworking for supporting the local art community with providing a much needed space for the exhibition of the works. This particular night was No. 2 - a week later than No. 1 - which provided a great fundraising opportunity for the artists and supporters of the Netflix show "Stranger Things" mentioned above - a community based in part here in Sacramento. It was only $5 (suggested donation - not coerced at all - which is why I gave $10) to enjoy the beauty of the local artists!LAYOUTThe art work was on two levels. You enter the ground floor where a wonderful variety of mediums are used, from sculpture, prints, water colors, collages, etc. It was all over the board.https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/outlet-coworking-sacramento?select=10Ap7gO5o8-qtwtvskNKVAThere was even a mock prop of a lighted helmet that everyone seemed to enjoy trying on, including yours truly!https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/outlet-coworking-sacramento?select=Q4wPvaF-pAwF8D9jLyofAwThe second upstairs level was a nice chill environment, even with a comfortable living room-like viewing set-up to watch episodes of Stranger Things! It was a lot of fun to relax and chat with the Stranger Things community of artists & participants.https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/outlet-coworking-sacramento?select=ugP2eceRO33MLfFGMMmDoQTHE LOWDOWNIt is always a fun time to catch the local artists and the community of supporters when coworking businesses like Outlet open their doors!

I have been working at Outlet Coworking for a few months now and, so far, I am impressed. Contrary to other reviews, the staff is pleasant and easy going. I have had no issues with them. As for the price, I think it is fair. Having worked in tons of coffee shops throughout the bay area and in Sacramento, there are many pros to working at Outlet:1) I can leave my computer at my workspace to use the restroom/get water/move car and not fear that my laptop will be stolen or hacked. Try leaving your laptop alone at a coffee shop for even five minutes and see what happens to it while you are gone. Also, weigh the price of a new Apple laptop versus a year at Outlet. 2) I don't have to desperately search for the "one" outlet in the coffee shop to recharge my dying computer. There are plenty of outlets for everyone at Outlet.3) I don't have to deal with gross bathrooms. Outlet keeps their restrooms extremely clean and nothing is "out of order".4) There is plenty of parking nearby and, even if you have to walk two blocks, its not that big of a deal. Everyone could use more exercise.5) Temple and Nekter are within walking distance. Life doesn't get much better than that.6) If you have time, try some of the beer that Outlet offers, their Waffle Wednesdays, the fancy booth in the lobby, one of their fun social activities, or get to know the amazing people that work there.I personally cannot go back to working in a crowded coffee shop where I have to fight for a table with an outlet, risk having my laptop stolen, or dealing with uncomfortable seats and small tables. I will stick with Outlet.

I came into the space for an interview with a startup company that uses the space. The girl at the desk (I didn't catch her name but she had blonde hair) was rude, cold, and unwelcoming. Maybe I'm just used to the amazingly nice and enthusiastic people at the Urban Hive. She acted as though I was bothering her when I asked for a glass of water while I waited (it was almost 100 degrees outside) and when I thanked her she just said "sure ." Also, the front room is the completely silent room. I think as a coworking space you would want people to come in and feel the energy of busy and enthusiastic businesses growing. Just a thought. The space was really nice and open which is why I'm giving it a 3. But get a new desk person who is an enthusiastic, empathetic, people person. First impressions are everything!

I've been working at Outlet for over 10 months and did 3 months at Urban Hive so I use that as the framework for my review. I am an employee that works remotely so my priorities for a co-working space probably differ somewhat from a start-up or freelancer that may want to meet with clients. At Urban Hive I was on their Entrepreneur membership ($250) and at Outlet I'm on an equivalent Day Job membership ($150)Urban Hive's pros:- I liked the aesthetics of their space better although Outlet's is certainly nice as well- They used Slack which was a sort of fun tool if I wanted to ask a question of the other co-working members- More street parking. On Wed/Thur street cleaning days near Outlet sometimes I have to park a couple blocks away..- Open at 7am instead of 8am and doesn't close earlier on Fridays like Outlet (5 p.m.)- Outlet is on K St and has floor to ceiling front windows so sometimes crazy people or just curious passersby will wander in. Not a big deal to me and Carly the office manager handles that well, but was a non-issue as far as I could tell at Urban Hive which is in a less busy area.- Corner store across the street is better stocked than the liquor store near OutletOutlet pro's:- It's $100 less per month, PLUS a generous amount of free printing and a few hours of conference room time is included in the membership fee (unlike Urban Hive). Literally this wins hands down for me and everything else is just a bonus.- I don't have to check-in at the front desk like I did at Urban Hive- Both offices have a co-working room where taking phone calls are allowed but I tend to want a bit more privacy when taking calls. Urban Hive I would sometimes go outside and take calls in the parking lot so I prefer Outlet because they have 2 large patio areas with tables where I can take my laptop with me during a call- Less crowded although neither space ever felt particularly crowded. I pretty much sit in the same spot every day at Outlet.- More bathrooms- More space for bikes- Closer to restaurants and bars although Urban Hive isn't that much further away.- Kitchen is kind of cramped at Urban Hive and the one at Outlet is a very open design so its less awkward trying to move around other peopleAfter reading the 3 star review from the person that visited Outlet for an interview, I feel like I should mention that their impression of Carly is not what my experience has been. Outlet is a family business run by Carly and her two brothers. All three just seem pretty chill, I wouldn't mistake that for being unfriendly. They've always been helpful in all my interactions.

I had a very important meeting here and it went fantastically. The facilities were great and so was the management/employees. My only complaint is that all of their offices are currently leased. I definitely got on the waiting list.

Love Outlet Coworking as our agency's office space. We're a team of three and only utilize the open space and sometimes conference rooms per our membership. The staff is great. The memberships are very reasonably priced for the value you get. If you're considering a coworking spot I recommend considering Outlet!

Outlet Coworking is an amazing place to work! The offices are spacious and Carly is extremely helpful. They have fun activities (ping pong, TV in the loft, fooseball, etc.) and lots of great amenities (beer on tap). Outlet is the best place to work in Sacramento.

I'm a PhD student, which means my full-time job is to sit at my laptop and write. Being far from my campus, I've struggled to find a good workspace--I always get distracted at home, and coffeeshops inevitably present some sort of obstacle--no outlets, uncomfortable seating, slow internet, intolerable music, etc. Finally I decided to invest in a coworking space. I looked at several in Sacramento, but Outlet stood out so I joined with a "Day Job" membership. Well, the past couple weeks have been my most productive in months, and now I'm raving about Outlet to everyone I know! The lighting is good, they have a quiet work room that is actually quiet, the internet is fast, the seating comfortable, there's unlimited water, coffee and beer (!), and a fridge and microwave so I can bring my leftovers. Plus, you don't have to pack up your stuff every time you have to go to the bathroom (seems minor, but when you need to do it several times a day it really starts to wear on you...) And the staff (especially Carly the manager) are super nice and welcoming.Yeah, $150 a month seems like a lot to pay to do something you could technically do for free at the local library. But for me the reality is I just can't put in concentrated 6-8 hour workdays without a space set up to support my work, so Outlet is TOTALLY WORTH IT!
