Oscar's Very Mexican Food

My husband and I went to get a couple of breakfast burritos. It's a small little restaurant but has some parking in the back which is nice. We got the carne asada breakfast burrito and the machaca burrito. We thought they were both fine but wish it actually was combined. The carne asada was a classic breakfast burrito with eggs and potato while the machaca had more tomatoes, onions, and peppers. I'd be interested in trying their other burritos besides just their breakfast burritos

I just left a meeting where we catered from Oscar's Very Mexican Food. It arrived warm. I ordered the carnitas super burrito and my girlfriend ordered the steak California burrito. We split our burritos in half and each had a half of the other's. I didn't like mine, it was too bland. The meat mixed with the rice and lettuce and ended up having no flavor. On the other hand I had her steak California Burrito and loved it. I ended up eating the half she gave me and saved the caritas super burrito for later. Maybe if I'm starving I'll eat it, but I doubt it. It will probably just get tossed by the end of the day.I would order the steak California Burrito again. I bet it's the steak that makes it good, so if I ordered the super burrito with the steak I'd probably love it. The steak is so tasty.

Have been going here for years also a decade actually, but I've kind of noticed a big decline in the quality. I would always get a California, the carne asada started to taste lower quality and can barely notice any pico de gallo. The Cali is still ok but definitely not as good as it used to be.The 1 star comes in the photo below. This breakfast burrito with bacon was absolutely terrible, do you notice any bacon? Neither do I. Also the quality of the bacon was like those bacon bits you add to a salad. Not crispy at all and barely even noticeable. Also the potato's are undercooked and soft. Literally every place makes a breakfast burrito with bacon, so if you not going to make it good, then I will go elsewhere. Taking a break from you Oscars

Oscar's is always consistent; their food is always high quality . The people who work there are always quite pleasant.

Parking can be difficult. I mostly only get the CA burrito (which is huge btw). Asada can be a bit dry(?) but with salsas it's all good. Sometimes I substitute the asada for adovada. CA burrito is only $10.50 which I feel is pretty good. Service a little slow tbh but I wasn't in a rush so it's fine. A little run down in there but atmosphere was ok overall. Depending on time of day, there can be a lot of HS students.

Really like this little Curtis Park neighborhood Mexican joint. It is a hole in the wall and it seemed their breakfast burritos might fix a craving. It was huge! I couldn't finish it all but that is a good sign! Their guacamole was fabulous!The person taking my order was super nice and helpful. I'll definitely come again.

Ive been coming here for the last 15 years. I do not know if they changed owners but it took them 35 minutes to make me 4 burritos. The way this establishment is located and the vibe you would think it is an express hurry up and get your good type of joint, but I showed up at 10:45am, ordered burritos for me and my co workers, and we didn't get our food until almost 11:30. The burrito was good but damn we got to get back to work!

Awesome breakfast burritos, they are so busy you need to allow at least 20 min for pick up orders

Came in with the crew and we all got breakfast burritos for our morning meeting. Bacon, eggs, potatoes, and cheese paired with their salsa is fire! Be prepared as they are huge! I didn't realize until after I ordered that you can order a mini burrito which is still very large in size. Staff is always very friendly and inviting. Food is made fresh to order and always hits the spot!

My husband ordered for us for early dinner . He get burrito and i get chicken taco . Its not good !!! Taste Awful . I wont order this again
