Orchard Creek Lodge

Beautiful property. Visited for an outdoor wedding near the water and the staff did an amazing job setting the ambiance. Reception was held in the ballroom which was a lovely open canvas space. The staff was so accommodating, personable and professional. The dinner was delicious: salads, steamed veggies, salmon, tri tip (complete with carving station!) and the creamiest, scratch made mashed potatoes I have ever had.

The location is beautiful. I'd give it a 5 star. The grounds are really kept up and make for some perfect pictures. They have a private lot and there is plenty of parking. The GPS works perfect for finding this place, even if you have quite a drive.Bathrooms: They were beautiful when we arrived, but need ongoing maintenance. It wasn't more then half way through the wedding and one or more stalls were totally out of paper. I only know this because twice I had to hand over paper to my stall mate.Catering: The happy hour fruit was great. The three dips for bread was perfect for the savory people. The only issue I have was the bread for the dip wasn't refilled and the plates were not bussed. Plates were piling up outside the photo booth, on the coffee table, and on the book display. I moved the books so we weren't charged for any mishaps. I also restacked the plates on the coffee table and took them off of the photo booth. By the time we filed out for dinner were the plates being removed. The guests kept asking where to put them and there wasn't anywhere to be seen. I even talked to one of the servers and the issue wasn't resolved. I hope the busser called in sick and this was the issue and it will be resolved in the future.Dinner was nice and there was something for everyone at the table, even the kids. The bottle service for the cider was well done.A few tweaks and this can be 5 stars. I hope this was just a one off event.

Let me get straight to the point by saying, we chose to have our wedding at Orchard Creek Lodge and it was honestly the best decision we could have made. The entire process from start to finish was so seamless and wonderful, it really made wedding planning a fun, stress fee experience. I would highly recommend this venue for any event.Just like many of you, I searched and toured dozens of venues and become quickly discouraged not finding one that seemed to fit my budget and all my wedding dreams. Then I happened upon Orchard Creek, made an appointment with Kathy to tour the venue and after touring and talking with Kathy I knew that this was the place I had been searching for. It seemed to good to be true! It was very affordable, fit our budget and had everything we were looking for, most importantly, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! (Not to mention the adorable bridal suite!) Kathy Cameron is truly an angel!! She is seriously the best ever! She is so sweet and hilarious and has so much experience in this industry, she was extremely helpful with the entire process and with any questions or concerns we had. She was always quick to respond to emails/questions and always willing to give advice and help in any way possible. She truly made the entire process very enjoyable and completely stress free! Our wedding day at Orchard Creek was absolutely perfect! Everything was set up exactly as we wanted, the food was delicious, the entire catering staff was super nice and professional and very helpful to any needs throughout the entire night. I honestly can't think of a single bad thing to say, it was just simply perfection! Many of our guests have told us that it was one of the most beautiful and most fun weddings they have ever attended. If you feel overwhelmed in choosing a venue, I highly highly recommend at least taking the time to come tour Orchard Creek and chat with Kathy. You won't regret it and you might just fall in love like we did! HUGE THANK YOU to Kathy, Don and the entire catering staff for all of your help and for making the wedding of our dreams come true!

This review is only for the location of a wedding venue at Orchard Creek Lodge. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue, this Lodge is lovely!! There is a wonderful central area decorated with a tall structure adorned with white drapes and a sparkling chandelier; add guests and you have a beautiful wedding venue!! I can only imagine how wonderful your wedding pictures might be with the many picturesque back drops available here. Seating is more than enough, the grounds are kept pristine. There are local hotels surrounding this venue too! Give it a look see!!

How to plan an event with ZERO dollars... start with Sun City! We came to them last year and explained that we were trying to throw a fundraiser, but had absolutely no budget. Zip, zilch, nada. They worked with us on fees, held our hands through the planning process (filling super weird needs), and helped throughout the night to make the event absolutely unforgettable!!!Huge shouts out to Josh and Mandy who made the entire night worth attending. This is obviously not their first rodeo. Can't wait to do it again next year!!!

Such a classy place to have an event!We celebrated my grandmother's 90th birthday here! It was an amazing event and we had over 250 people in attendance. The facilities here were very clean and the staff was great.There was a bar host and food. We had salad, garlic mashed potatoes, salmon and tri-tip. Everything was cooked perfectly! I was especially impressed by the salmon. Usually when Salmon is mass produced it is usually not that great, however they did a great job! The bartender Port great drinks!The outside back of the facility had a perfect backdrop for family pictures! That parking lot was huge and had plenty of space for all of our cars!I would definitely use this once again!

We had our wedding ceremony here and the venue here is very scenic and beautiful. Meghan was really nice showing us around. Don was our rehearsal/wedding day coordinator that was very helpful.The walk down to the alter is about 2 minutes. During rehearsals, it's easy to walk down the path that the coordinator shows you but once the chairs are added during the wedding, it became really hard to see where you're supposed to turn. They allowed us to use all of the facilities needed for the wedding. We used the dressing rooms to put down our purses, etc. The rooms do not lock though.Our wedding day was 115 degrees and it was hot. We had our ceremony during the morning but it was still very hot for our guests to sit. It was about 80 degrees at 10:30 in the morning. I wish they have more shade for the guests to sit under since Lincoln gets really hot.My only complaint is that during the actual ceremony, they had another coordinator with Don that we didn't work with us during rehearsals. She had quite a delay in me walking down towards the aisle and was not something we had practiced during rehearsals. It was really annoying that she wouldn't let me walk down because i knew it would take some time to get down. People waited some time for me to come down.

Had a really lovely buffet lunch here today following a celebration of life. The food was excellent and the pot roast selection was extremely tender. The chicken cordon blue also exceptional. The gentleman who was our Solarium Room host was attentive and flexible to our noisy active children. Highly recommend this venue based on our experience today.

I had my wedding here in October 2022. The venue is very beautiful and the food is decent and the price is very reasonable. But what really sold me was Mandy as she was the person I worked with and met with at the beginning before I signed the contract. She was so helpful and very sweet. Well unfortunately she moved positions and I worked with Don. Don was very nice as well and though he took a very long time to respond to my messages, (sometimes I had to forward the email twice, even three times to get a response) when he did respond he answered all of my questions clearly and respectfully. I know all my questions were probably tedious to respond to sometimes.But, my biggest complaint is two days before the wedding I find out Don will not be with me on my wedding day or the rehearsal, but a man named Josh who I have never met will. When meeting Josh he was very kind to my husband and I.The day of the wedding is where the biggest issue lies. Josh was very kind to me luckily, but was very rude to my family and friends who were setting up. Also, all my planning of the decorations and the timeline was finalized with Don but apparently he didn't communicate that with Josh because items were missing and out of place and when that was brought to the attention of Josh, he was very rude about it and said that wasn't part of the plan. Well actually it was, I even made a floor plan myself of the space and all the tables and signs and decorations and shared it with Don and talked it over with him but apparently Josh didn't get the memo.That was just very frustrating and stressful on the day of and some stuff that was promised never happened and it would have been nice if they at least communicated or if I could have just worked with the person who was going to be helping me the day of to make sure everyone was on the same page. But overall the venue was wonderful and I'm very glad I had it here. P.s. I left something very special to me in the brides getting ready room and thankfully Don was there the next day and knew exactly where it was and returned it to me, which was a life saver.

We just had our wedding here a couple days ago, and it was absolutely beautiful. A few months prior to our wedding there were a few hiccups and rough patches. After speaking with Don, he did rectify the situation. Communication was better, and both him and Christine listened to our wants and needs. Josh was phenomenal to say the least. His hospitality and personality made our experience even more beautiful. Mandy was beyond helpful and such an angel. The day of our wedding, it ran so smooth. The professionalism, hospitality, willingness to listen and help made our wedding at OCL thousands time better. My husband and I received vegan meals and it was amazing! We had a buffet for our guests, and we received countless of positive feedback on the food. If you're looking for a place to have your wedding at; I highly suggest having it at the Orchard Creek Lodge. The staff, the food, the bar, and the overall venue is absolutely amazing. It was definitely worth every penny spent!
