The Grange is a fun place for concerts in the summer. Look up the live music days and enjoy time with friends and family. My favorite band The Sunset River band was playing and had a blast...

3.5 stars, but I rounded up to a four because of the value.A nice sized venue hidden away in a neighborhood in Orangevale. Came for a wedding, it definitely isn't glamorous inside, but with the right decor and lighting I'm sure this place could be dolled up to look elegant. There's a stage and plenty of parking. The price per hour is more than fair, you can bring your own alcohol which is a huge savings in it self and tables and chairs are included, which could cost a ton just to rent.So if you're looking for a venue to hold a party or wedding and you want a place that is more than fairly priced, definitely look at Orangevale Grange.

What a pleasant way to start a sunny, summer Sunday. Step back in time and enjoy an old fashioned pancake breakfast sponsored by kids from 4-H - with just a bit of help from their parents and other adults, right?! It was extremely nostalgic for my dining partner/friend as he had been in 4-H as a kid himself. And it was something I had wanted to do for a long, long time. So if you're looking for something different some Sunday morning, give it a try. I did, and I'm glad I did. Careful though, if you stay around chatting too long, they'll threatened to put you to work!

Our business (a live theatre company) rented this space over the summer for 2 days/2 performances and it went very well! Because of this pleasant experience, we decided to rent the space again for our Christmas production. What completely different experience! We were treated like criminals from the start. The woman in charge of rentals was rude, aggressive, and harassing. We rented the space specifically for the use of the stage (as we are a theatre) and on the first day of our rental we discovered there was a 7 foot tall Christmas tree in the middle of the stage. When we told her that we would need to move it, she refused and told us we would have to work around it. After much negotiations, she finally relented that we could move the tree--but if we broke one bulb in the process of moving the tree, we would never be allowed to rent the Grange Hall. Unfortunately, in one of the 6 times we had to move the tree back and forth, we broke two bulbs. We communicated this with her and told her we would replace them, but she was livid and unreasonable. We had already paid for two more days to do performances and two days before the performance she told us we couldn't use the building that weekend. When we told her we had already sold tickets for the shows, she said "Well, you should have thought about that before you broke the bulbs." When one of our board members said she needed to give us our money back, she refused. Again, after much negotiations, she finally gave us our money back. When we were removing our props and set pieces from the building, her and her husband rushed us and hovered over us. Even after we left and all was said and done, she called and harassed us leaving a rude voicemail telling us we had to put the Christmas tree back on the stage (note: her husband had told us we didn't need to).We were not bad renters--we left the facility cleaner than how we came to it. We expressed our thanks for them letting us rent the building, we were willing to replace the two (cheap, small) bulb ornaments that were broken in the process of moving the tree so we could use the stage that we had paid to rent.Overall, it was a terrible experience and we will not be returning. No one deserves to be treated the way we were treated. I hope this one person's actions are not a reflection of the Grange Hall, as a whole.
