Ono Hawaiian BBQ is located behind Sac City in the Crocker Village Plaza, with plenty of parking, and both indoor and outdoor seating. I've been to this location several times, and each visit has been delicious. It's the perfect spot for a post-gym meal, especially when you're craving chicken and rice.One of my favorites is the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Aloha Plate, which comes with BBQ chicken, three scoops of rice, and fresh mixed salad. It's a healthy, filling, and satisfying meal. The salad is always crisp and flavorful, while the BBQ chicken is tender and juicy. There is also a station to the side for soda, teriyaki sauce, katsu sauce, and utensils. The staff at this location are friendly and quick at preparing orders. We checked out this Ono Hawaiian BBQ location for the first time for dinner last night. It's located in the Crocker Village by Sac City College.The inside was very modern and on theme. There was lots of seating inside - big and small tables. We ordered the Island Fire Chicken Mini Meal, BBQ Beef Plate, BBQ Combo Plate, Grilled Chicken Keiki Meal and an order of Crab Rangoons. Everything tasted as expected, I really liked the Island Fire Chicken, it had a nice spicy flavor. The Keiki Meal included Apple Juice and Apple Sauce - which was great for the price. Staff were friendly, but they took a while to cook our food - which actually is a good thing since I feel like the meat was cooked fresh and they ensured it was cooked through all the way. We will be back soon - I want to check out the Shrimp and Fish options next! They also had salads and fresh coconuts!

This review is strictly for the food. I placed an order through the app and picked up my food.The business is located in the Crocker Village shopping center and there is plenty of shared parking spaces for everyone. I walked inside and saw a sign at the counter for online order pick-up. An employee was right there and asked for my name. My order was ready and waiting at the counter. I ordered three keiki meals and one aloha plate 2-item combo. The keiki meals I chose were chicken katsu, crispy shrimp and bbq chicken ono. I'm glad there was an option to choose between a side of rice or macaroni salad. Although the price is a bit higher than a lot of kids meals, I thought the food was delicious and worth the price point. The proteins all had a great flavor. The shrimp was perfectly battered and fried. I also need to say that the tonkatsu sauce is quite delicious. I will definitely be ordering a katsu dish during my next visit. Oh and the macaroni salad is one of the best at a fast food restaurant. I loved that the macaroni salad was flavorful. Sometimes I find that these types of salads include too much mayonnaise but it was not the case here. The only issue I found was they mixed up one of my drinks so I received an apple juice instead of water.The combo plate I ordered was Hawaiian beef and kalua pork. It comes with 3 scoops of rice and a cabbage salad. I thought it strange that you aren't able to choose macaroni salad as a side option. The portions were okay for me and I will definitely get a second meal out of this.

Just ordered delivery and my order was wrong. I said no rice or veggies only Mac and got no Mac and all rice and veggies. Guess I need to grab dinner elsewhere. What a waste of $$

Seen one and you've seen them all. Great because that have Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! LOCATION & DECOR: Plenty of parking outside this location. Shared parking with adjacent businesses, but there's always somewhere to park.Interior in reach location is modern and homey. bright setup with natural wood and rope hanging from an industrial type of ceiling. Large Windows for natural light.FOOD & DRINK: -BBQ chicken plate with extra rice no mac and cheese and the veggies is my go-to. It is the most delicious thing on a fast food menu. Made to perfection every time and don't forget the teriyaki sauce at the sauce station because those two should be married!-Spam Musubi is not one to sleep on. Get the teriyaki sauce, dip that beauty in that ocean of deliciousness and enjoy your life!PRICE: $$- Full BBQ chicken plate with any side combination is about $13- full BBQ beef plate with any side combination is about $13-Spam Musubi or any of the Musubi are about $5 an order which comes with 2-about $2 for fountain drink or Hawaiian Sun which I highly recommend.SWAG/AMENITIES:-indoor table seating-large windows for natural light-self-service sauce station-self-service fountain drink station-public restroomSTAFF & EXPERIENCE:Staff is super cool in this place. It's a decent place and much better than Panda Express next door. I just don't see myself coming here that often. I do see a lot of my coworkers coming here so don't let my review sway you. You either like it or you don't. Food is decent and the staff is friendly. If you want a taste of Hawaiian cuisine this is the place to be.

Ordered catering trays for party at work. Placed order inside restaurant on Friday for following Wednesday. Medium trays of Hawaiian BBQ chicken and chicken katsu plus small tray of macaroni salad for about 20 people. BBQ chicken seasoned well. Chicken katsu was crispy, but not dry. Everyone enjoyed the food. The restaurant provided several bowls of sauce to accompany the chicken dishes. Would recommend if you have large group in future.

I came for dinner expecting delicious moist Hawaiian bbq and tasty Mac salad, sadly this visit wasn't as good as previous visits. I walk in and place is empty, the employee taking my to-go order was friendly and efficient. Plenty of seating, clean and modern atmosphere. This is a new building in Crocker district behind Sac City College.Now let's discuss my order. A simple teriyaki grilled chicken is kind of hard to mess up but this chicken was down right inedible and flavorless. Just look at the attached pic, chicken breast seemed processed and tough, texture was disgusting and so was the flavor. Do not order this, try something else. Mac salad (my fave) and freshly steamed broccoli saved the dish as I was rather hungry just getting home from work. Rice was perfectly cooked, no issues there. The kids meal was enjoyed by the little one, she loves broccoli and rice. I give this place 3 out of 5 for the issues of inedible items and inefficient to-go packing leading to leakage and a mess. PS: major liquid seems to seep out of the to-go containers, handle carefully.

The food is very good & should be enjoyed often. Their cuisine is tasty. The employees have a good energy during work; the ambiance is fine
