Swings & Play Structure
Water Feature next to play area
Extra large tunnel slide...I think even a grown up would fit in there!
Splash pad
Water feature spraying. It sprays low then high then really high. Turn on sprayers by pressing the button on the pole.

we visited nisenan park for the first time recently - i can't believe i haven't taken my little guy there previously! it's incredibly clean and was completely empty when we arrived on a sunny sunday afternoon, which meant we had all the swings and slides to ourselves for a good while.the park has a lot more to offer than just the playground. there are picnic tables under a big gazebo, basketball courts, a big water fountain that kids can run through and clean bathrooms. they also allow pets on leash (which is better than no pets at all). it's a great spot for a quick playground sesh, or to hangout for an afternoon.

A wonderful place to take the kids. Great play structures and slides for kids young and small. Love the splash pads during the summer, kids seem to just love running around. I love that it's close to the trails and lots of accessible parking. The bathrooms are also pretty clean and family friendly. There are diaper changing stations in most of the bathrooms. There is a shower area as well. Water fountains for kids and pets. There is a canopy area to host your next party, I believe it's first come, first serve. Basketball courts are always busy, great place to shoot some hoops. Thanks for having this great park near our home!

Two years after its opening, this park is still a hidden secret. It has everything I look for in a park: clean restrooms, large grassy areas, winding bike trails/walking paths, covered gazebos, picnic tables, a few grills, benches, a kids play area with climbers, swings, and a splash play area, drinking fountains for humans and critters, wooded areas to explore, and gently sloped grassy hills to roll down. The kids and I love coming here...they always find someone they can play with, and I can relax on my picnic blanket, reading a book, zoning out, or my favorite pastime: people watching from behind my dark sunglasses.

We love this park. Our 2.5 yr old especially loves this park. The water sprays from the ground all come up at different times with different sprays. The center ones are up even higher than they used to be. The water is nice and warm for the kiddos so morning time is good to come too. We love the parks and rec gal Marcella! She is wonderful to chat with and she manages all three water parks in Folsom (Livermore and Kemp parks). She recommended both of those to us as well and we loved them. Out of all three water parks nisenan park has the warmest water! Nisenan park has good play structures with different rock climbing walls. There is a shaded gazebo with a bbq in case you're looking to sit or have a party. Basketball courts are right next to it too.

I like this park, but I don't love this park. The good: The water feature at this park has a button you have to press to operate it, so you don't have to sit around and wait till 11am for it to get switched on like the other water parks in Folsom. Even those summer mornings can be pretty hot sometimes. The bad: the play structure has no shade or mature trees nearby, and the two play structures are both on the small side and pretty run of the mill compared to other parks in Folsom. The only really unique play feature I spotted is an extra wide tunnel slide that even an adult could fit through without getting stuck. There are some bike paths that look like they'd be nice to walk along, but I haven't yet taken a walk to see where they go.
