Ninja Sushi

Slow service... server sitting at the bar while sucking on a lollipop while we wait 20 minutes for a menu and some water.They don't seem to care about the patrons. It's like a weird warp of the twilight zone ... Some manager type marching around... missing everything not happening ... like the stuff that needs management. The food is not always the same... even though I keep ordering the same thing because it sounds good. Very inconsistent. Mangos were not ripe this time, hot food was served cold.... I have visited this place 4 times, hoping for something that I guess it just wont be...The ambiance is ok... it's dark. Noisy. Not great. Cafe style with poor lights.The Green Muscles are good... except they forgot to bring me my order until after we were done eatting. I'd probably go back for the Green Muscles.... Just because they were so good... but they too were cold because they forgot them on the counter for 15 min until they got cold. Still tasted good enough... i was hungry so anything was good enough: I hate to be the naysayer.... I am now home... I feel kinda sick.

It is our new go to sushi restaurant.Try the fireball unbelievable!They have a wide variety of rolls.I didn't like the sauce of the pepper fin but it was a 5 star experience.

Great, fresh sushi!They have tamari and communicate well about gluten free substitutions.Service is a-ok.I do wish they made the ambience more cozy or traditional or inviting. Having many screens all around is a big minus for me. I love that they have hamachi kama and the sashimi has always been very fresh.

I hate to say this but we ORIGINALLY went to Auburn for the pizzeria next door but we were on a time crunch and the wait was going to be too long, so we came to Ninja Sushi because it was empty (still wondering why). The food we ordered was GOOD: monster roll, chicken teriyaki roll, vegetable tempura, and spicy edamame. Our waitress was very nice and fast. She only forgot the wife's spicy mayo BUT no biggie. Our only gripe would be with the temperature in there, it was a little on the warm side but to be fair, the weather is just now starting to change.So, all in all, a good little sushi spot. Not the fanciest place BUT good food. Still scratching my head on why it was empty on a Saturday night.

My buddy and I were getting drinks and shooting pool nearby then hit us that we were hungry. So we decided to give this place a try. It was kinda late on a Saturday and there was absolutely no one besides us in there which kind of weirded me out. We ordered some asahi beer, warm saki and four sushi rolls. Don't remember the names unfortunately. We lined them up between us and just kind of had at it buffet style. Some of the bites were quite good but then other bites were super mushy and not very fresh. It was kind of hit or miss, but fine for a late night grab after a few drinks. Service was very friendly.

If you don't care about if you're seafood is wild or farm raised or what's the freshest then this place is perfect for you. I like to know what is the freshest and what is wild and that is what I order. The problem is the chefs don't speak English. They have lots of great young people working there but they don't seem to understand how some people think it's important to know what they're eating. This is the second time I've gone in I waited about five months and the same exact thing happened. No answers except for oh it's it's all wild it's all fresh! Well that's absolutely impossible. So I won't be going back. Besides the same thing happened when I sat down at the sushi bar it was so sticky. There is no attention to detail in this restaurant. That is really sad because I remember years ago when you used to get the most amazing marinated Hamachi Kama ....

If you want to eat sushi in a reasonable amount of time, do not go here. We have waited over an hour and 15 minutes so far and were told it will be another 15 minutes. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Seriously, an hour and 30 minutes!! Learn how to run a business. Two sushi chefs putting to go orders ahead of diners. We are a party of four and one third of the restaurant is empty. Never again will we waste our time at this place. Food finally came. So so on the quality. Spicy Tuna roll was too tart, not sure why. Never experienced a sour spicy tuna roll.

First, don't say that the food is really good, but the service makes them look extremely bad. The bigger guy making the food always has the worst attitude over the littlest things and is extremely rude one of the ladies that worked there also have the same immature attitude towards their customers Probably one of the worst services I've ever had

Something bad has happened to what USED to be our favorite sushi restaurant in Auburn. Placed a to-go order, told 20 minutes. By the time I drove away, it was 45 minutes. Why? Because we were given someone else's food. Fortunately, only drove a short distance and opened boxes to check. Went back, got order re made. Got home, no ginger, no wasabi, and the cold sashimi was in the same box as the overcooked (burnt) hamachi kama. The kicker? The wrong order I drove away with, opened and touched was given to the people waiting in the chairs by the door (!) won't be ordering/eating there again!
