We really enjoy Nina Taqueria. The food is amazing , it serves yummy authentic Mexican cuisine. The owners are friendly. They are family owned restaurant. Walking into the restaurant makes you feel like you just walked into Little Mexico. They have a Mexicans store attached to the restaurant so that you can make your own delicious Mexican dishes. And a bakery with tasty authentic Mexican treats .They also have variety of Mexican meats and fish , That You could take home for cooking . What more can I say about Nina's? but that ,we love Nina's taqueria! Ole

Definitely one of the best spots to eat Mexican food. We ordered a carne asada sope, torta and tacos dorados and it was so delicious! We are definitely coming back!

The food is consistently delicious and is made quickly. It's one of my favorite places to go to. The shrimp tacos are simple but tasty and have an amazing green sauce to top. I have yet to try an item on the menu I don't enjoy.

Nina's taqueria is a totally neat place... it is a small mercado, butcher shop, bakery (pandemonium)), and taqueria all in one. How awesome is that? Totally awesome!!! There are not a lot of places like this and is an absolute fantastic addition to the suburbs of Cameron Park. Nina's is located in a small neighborhood shopping plaza on Green Valley Road and Cameron Park Drive. They even have a small indoor seating area. All the better to sit, relax, and enjoy some hot taqueria eats, baked goods, and a cool drink. When I dropped in last month on a Saturday near high noon, the line was super long. About 10 folks in front of us. It is one cashier to purchase groceries and baked goods, ring items from the butcher, and to order taqueria items. After we ordered, the cashier tells us it would take 45 minutes to a hour for our three asada crispy shell taco order. I was with my MIL and she adores this place, she really likes the tacos and did not mind the wait. They asked for a phone number and said they will call when the food is ready. Sure enough about 45 minutes later, we got the call. We brought back the food to my MIL's house which was less than a 10 minute drive. When I bit into the taco, the asada meat was burnt and grisly, crispy hard. Ouch. All the tacos were like this. My MIL swore this was not the norm, nor was the long wait. She and her gal pals eat here often. On the bright side, I did enjoy the cannoli and cake slices. Plus the cashier was friendly and had a bubbly personality. Since my MIL swore the taco fiasco was not normal and they are pretty good, I am apt to give them another try.

Worst taqueria I have ever been to and I have been to over 1000+. Food is tasteless, really expensive and tasted awful. The place is filthy and I mean the floors, tables booths to sit at everything. All the people that worked there except the guy at the meat counter seemed like they could care less that they were working. My friend had a Chile Verde burrito and it was full of fat and was tasteless. I had an asada burrito and rather than using good meat like arrachara they used meat that when cooked tasted like tasteless leather. Rice in both burritos was way over cooked and tasteless. The beans were horrible. Both my friend and I are sick with food poisoning stay away unless you want to be sick for a few days.

Nina's is a hidden gem off Green Valley. There is surely a lack of reliably good taquerias around EDH, but this is definitely my kind of casual Mexican spot, offering authentic tacos, burritos, amazing pan dulce, and pantry ingredients inside the butcher/store. The highlight of our last visit was the hot cheetos and Cali burritos - bomb! The carna asada was super tender with perfectly crisped edges for texture. My husband loved the beans and rice and I was digging the perfect pan dulce - the cuerno style are my fav. Service was swift and friendly, and our food came out pretty quickly on a Friday afternoon as well as the Tuesday mid-morning following. Twice in one week since we found out about Nina's, you know it! Thankfully they're close!

By far the most bland tasteless burrito I have ever had. I had the supreme burrito with grilled chicken. The salsa tasted fermented and all ingredients tasted old. They also messed up my friends order not once but two times. She wanted no cheese or sour cream and it had both. She sent it back and then the next burrito has beef which she doesn't eat. No offer for them to pay for her burrito for having to wait so long. When she did get what she ordered she said it tasted old. She only ate a quarter of it. The only saving grace for this place was the fresh baked deserts which were very good. The staff also seem very incompetent who made it all worse. Too bad because it looked promising with the carniceria there too.
