Very good sandwiches whether you create your own or off the menu. The pasta and potato salads were very tasty. Friendly staff. A good variety of specialty stuff to purchase. The store is clean and well stocked.

Read the business hours on Yelp and the business website. Clearly stated open on Sundays. Drove there Sunday April 14th at Noon. Closed, lock-up, not open. Correct the schedule so other potential shoppers don't waste time and gasoline.

This is a great place to stop for local fruits, a yummy breakfast, brunch or lunch before ride or a hike/ adventure, and shop for a pretty flower bouquet or a gift. This cute shop has everything you will need! The service is friendly and pleasant. The store is clean and organized so it is easy to look for things. The best things are seasonal local fruits so you must have some on the way out.

I absolutely love Newcastle Produce! I've frequented this wonderful place for many years, finding unique sauces and fantastic local products... but what I really go out of my way for are the scones and the coffee. They serve the incredible local java from Valiant Coffee which is my personal favorite for lattes and always lifts my mood. I live in Rocklin and a 25 minute drive for a cup of coffee might seem silly, but wow is it magical to me.The scones are unbeatable and they have the most unique and creative flavors. Lately I've enjoyed the s'mores scones and the mocha scones (which are made with decaf, in case anyone is worried) but they've always got something unique and delicious in the pastry case. My partner loves their BYO sandwiches for lunch, and while I haven't tried them, they look delicious. When I'm hungry I go for the outstanding avocado toast. Everything is locally sourced and the balsamic/olive oil they dress the arugula with adds a flavor bomb that I can't get enough of!Service is always kind and courteous, and they give you a sticker for every espresso drink or sandwich you order... the 10th ones are free.Go support this wonderful local grocer/deli/coffee shop. I'm sure you'll leave with something enchanting.

Grown up locally in area and this has always been the spot for yummy scones to eat! Whenever my bf and I visit my grandpa this is the place to get some for breakfast. The service was nice when we checked out and love the homey ambiance since it's been here since I was little! So recommend and can't wait for next time (:

If you're mining for a gold nugget meal, then stop by Newcastle Produce. I didn't know anything about this place; but a local friend suggested we grab an early dinner at their market. We had the pastrami sandwiches, chocolate chip cookie, and of course a cream filled pumpkin roll. Everything was fresh and excellent. The meatloaf is next on my list. I thought it was a great place, and like a miner's claim; maybe not too well known outside the local community. I think the locals are keeping a secret .... hahaha

Been shopping here a whole lot lately. It's AWESOME. Says produce market and they rock that but they serve so much more. Sandos are great (mushroom & pastrami are my go to's) pastries are inspired and take out dinners make it so I don't need to cook anymore. Most important though, the Manager and crew are happy, caring, nice folks. It's a small town store with small town, hard working, smiling staff. Stop there often. It's fun!

Amazing! The food is top notch won't find any food at a deli any better restaurant quality?.

The produce section is still good. The store itself is still good but the DELI just keeps getting worse. The premade food in the deli looks days old and dried up. I ordered a vegetable sandwich and I had to spit out much of the vegetables because there was dirt in the lettuce and older cucumbers were soft. The turkey tasted like it had been frozen. Bread was good. Please turn it around to be great again!
