Natomas Academy - Family Taekwondo

The family taekwondo academy's have amazing staff! Their classes are full of all ages and all skill groups! They have multiple events for all locations throughout the year! Joining this academy was one of the best decisions I ever made!

I've been attending to dojo for nearly 8 months and I can say I've been learning a lot. Just making it a goal to attend weekly has enabled me to strengthen my punctuality in all that I do. The dojo is clean, instructor is friendly, and students are awesome. I love the get-togethers whether it's Halloween or Christmas even the pool party in summer is a lot of fun. With the diversity of foods and me being a foodie I love the parties.

Family Taekwondo has a great family atmosphere. My grandson is learning skills and enjoying the process. Thank you Master Matsumoto

Just cannot express how happy we are with Natomas Academy- Family Taekwondo!Also cannot Thank Master Matsumoto enough for all he is doing for our family! He treats all of his students like they are his own children and family members! He cares about his students' success!! Honestly, this was the best decision we made for our family especially for our children to enroll them at Natomas Academy- Family Taekwondo. I wish more parents would know about this academy and how important it is for their children to know Teakwando!! My daughter was accepted to perform at her school's talent show. She is going to perform the bo staff and Taekwondo forms that Master Matsumoto taught her. Thank You Master Matsumoto for all you are doing for our family! Wanted to get my child involved in an activity that he loved. The class was pleasant and the instructor was knowledgeable. However, this is not the type of class you want to enroll in if you don't want to continue and become a black belt. If you are unable or unwilling to commit to the three year agreement you are no longer able to attend once your first year is up. I do wish that the classes were more separated to focus on younger kids versus adults. The teaching is instructor led (one instructor and everyone just has to try to catch on. Many people appear to be trying to keep up but It's just not the type of class that you get 1:1 training to learn each skill. Pricing is about $175 for two classes a week and $350 you buy the family package for up to 4 people.

We met Mr. Paul when he came to a school fair and my son has been hooked on taekwondo since. He loves his practices and is always excited to go. He got bullied quite a bit in school last year and he was very emotional about it. Now he doesn't let things get to him and has more confidence in himself. I love this place and so does my boy!
