Nash & Proper | The Line

I've been enjoying Nash and Proper for a few years now. Was delighted to see them at the wine tasting event at Old Sugar Mill today. Introduced my mother to their delicious sammich in mild because we are spice babies. She raved the entire time how delicious it was. The service was great as always, they're always a welcome sight and I'm glad I could turn my mom into a Nash and Proper devotee.

Food truck at FlexCare parking lot [Roseville CA]My co-worker and I were excited to see Nash & Proper at our neighboring building's parking lot. As hot as it was that day we walked over to the food truck. We've had some mean triple-digit temps last month in July. I ordered the wings and my friend ordered the jumbo tenders. We also ordered "crinkle" fries that were just your classic French fry.The grill must've been too hot... the wings were too crisp, almost burnt looking. It didn't agree well with my tummy as I started to get upset stomach. Then my co-worker who had the chicken tenders felt the same thing... and we found ourselves heading to the bathroom LoL! This is the place to go for Nash and proper now we had a less than great experience at the food truck recently and the downtown location Doesn't seem to be keeping set hours anymore. Just had three sandwiches some of the best we've ever had from Nash and prop today, I do think they have dialed down the spice. The hot today tasted more like five years ago medium and I think I should upgrade it to the extra hot or clucking hot. Fries were better at The Line too.Tl; DR go up 1 level of spicy than you would normally order.Sadly they only have to go here nowhere to sit besides 1 table with umbrella.

Ordered the Chicken Strips at their food truck. Aske for extra wing sauce on them. When the strips were handed to me through the window, they appeared very dry. So I again asked for the extra hot sauce. The guy looked perplexed. So I reminded him that I had asked for extra hot sauce when I ordered. He still looked confused but said it would cost an extra dollar. I greed at he handed we a package of ranch dressing. I began to protest but relized it would do no good. So, I ate dry chicken. Probably be awhile before I try them ahain. Used ro love their chicken. Sorry to see it go downhill this far.

I've been a fan of Nash & Proper since the first time I tried it, and now they have a location close enough to my job that I can grab it on a lunch break with time to spare! This location is awesome, as it's conveniently located next to CSUS and on the 50 corridor! Plus, ordering online and picking up is a breeze! But what I love the most, is the fusion of new menu items at this location. I mean, they even have a sushi roll with some of this delectable hot chicken! I'll finish with this, there's a lot of imitation hot chicken spots in Sacramento now, but Nash & Proper has them ALL BEAT with their quality ingredients, huge portions, and AMAZING flavor! Where most places medium heat doesn't even break a sweat, Nash & Proper will have you fearing the "cluckkin hot" version in a good way!

Ordered this for delivery tonight. Got The Sammich and crinkle fries. They arrived in a soggy cardboard box with soggy fries and soggy burger. Definitely not worth the $20!

Ordered from the food truck at Harvard Park yesterday and felt incredibly ripped off. The prices online were less than on the truck. A sandwich and fries online was 18 dollars and it was 21 on the truck. If I'm spending 21 dollars I should at least get one side of sauce with my meal but no. I had to buy 2 sauces for a dollar each because the cups were less than an ounce each. For 25 dollars after tax I should at least get some seasoned chicken and hot fries. The chicken had very little seasoning and did not have any spice for a Medium sandwich. The fries were cold and over seasoned. Very disappointing I used to love this place but don't think I'd go back especially for the price

Found Nash and proper about 5 years ago during a motorcycle event at Cycle Gear. It was unlike anything I had eaten and I was hooked. In those times, I followed their FB to see where their location would be whenever I was feeling it and they had a semi permanent spot on Broadway I would frequent. Flash forward to now, and they have a permanent spot close to home again! So good!
