Definitely still looks like good Ol' Samurai inside because it looks like the new owner hit the ground running. And why not? People need a Good Sushi restaurant around this area! We were seated immediately a little after 5, but the place filled up within 15 minutes. The sushi, sashimi and cooked food were all better than expected. I been to a lot of AYCE places and normally fish slices are super thin, it's not the case here. Sashimi were fresh, good sizes, nigiri's were not trimmed down, so many options! I love the option to add Amaebi, Fresh Osyters, Uni, and Blue Fin at a decent price. The Garlic seasoned nigiri all were delicious. I don't think I ate anything bad tonight. The deserts can be a bit bigger than sushi size. But they do allow you to order as much as you can eat. Leo our waiter was Wonderful and was on top of it. The dishes didn't take too long, it was typical for a busy night. Bathrooms are terrible! Broken toilet/urinals. Will not flush... and out of toilet seat covers. Other people's waste left behind.....Servers seems shy, very quiet but happy to help. They were attentive to making sure our needs were met. Water, ordering, and getting our dishes quick & efficiently.My fave items on the menu had to be the garlic nigiris. The smokey on top of the fishes were delicious! Everything else on the menu were cool. I enjoyed it. Ordered some rolls, hand roll, appetizers, and dessert. Good quality sashimi. Kitchen/sushi chefs did take some time to get orders out. Perhaps maybe it got busy??Came for dinner on a weekend. $36 AYCE is not a bad price for what was received.

Wish they would hire the chefs from Samurai Sushi. This new sushi place is ok. The sushi is not as good as the old Samurai Sushi. All their sushi taste the same. Unfortunately, I don't think I like their sushi at all. It's nothing special.I miss the sushi that was made by Samurai Sushi chefs.I wonder they they all went.

I visited Narumi Sushi in Rancho Cordova, CA on Tuesday, 2/11/25, around 2 PM. In my dining experience, I decided to opt for the AYCE lunch option. I was able to try the following: * Miso Soup* Cream Cheese Wontons* Egg Fried Rice* Chicken Teriyaki * Hamachi (Yellowtail) Hand Roll* Rainbow Roll* Hamachi Lava The appetizers such as the miso soup and cream cheese wontons were delicious. The chicken teriyaki was just decent. The egg-fried rice was a bit underwhelming in flavor. All of the sushi rolls were satisfactory in taste and quality. The customer service was standard and met expectations. The dining room area and bathroom were clean. The price point of the AYCE meal was great. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Narumi Sushi. I will be returning here in the future, as I look forward to trying more food from the menu.

Okay. So I have been searching high and low for the best standalone sushi ONLY buffet and I think I finally found it!!! I wish this place wasn't 30 min away from me in the middle of nowhere haha but I would definitely drive the distance to eat here again. The quality was 8/10 to me. We got a mix of sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls, and full sushi rolls. We came in and it was an extremely full house. We didn't get acknowledged at all by anyone when we came in which is my main reason for the minus one star BUT the food totally made up for it and when we got seated and helped, they were amazing after that. Everyone was super nice and friendly. We cut super easy cuts so our food came out really quick. Our waiter was upfront about the wait time for certain food choices which I appreciated. I wasn't a fan of the fried banana dessert because it was so tiny but I'm glad he gave us ice cream too. Ube ice cream! Not a lot of places have Ube ice cream too. Much come try this place. You won't regret it. Oh and their sunomono salad / Cucumber salad I wish it wasn't cut info shaven pieces. Thicker cuts please!

Outstanding food. Everything is so fresh and tasty. This is our fourth visit and they have not disappointed. The sashimi melts in your mouth and is super fresh. All the rolls are delicious and they have a good variety. So far, I've had seven different rolls, all very good. Service is acceptable and the food arrived in a timely manner.
