So glad we stopped in again! Everything we had was absolutely perfect. Nara's quality is top tier. The fish tastes so fresh and I love how much effort the chefs put into presentation.It wasn't busy at all for a Friday evening so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Servers are friendly and everything arrived quickly. They even give you complimentary watermelon and there's lollipops on your way out! Glad we gave it another try.

We had eyed the menu of this place and were curious to try it. Although it is true that it takes a bit to get served, the staff is great and the food is worth it.We enjoyed the ramen, which was very flavorful and traditional- not great to carried away, but a good solid serving.We tried the tempura as well, and fried dumplings and they were on point. Had the dragon roll too and it was very tasty and well balanced. This place definitely made it to our list of favorites whenever we want to try Japanese food.

It's been a year since our last visit and we have a soft spot in our hearts for supporting family/small/local businesses in Folsom so we gave it another try. Sure glad we did as we've been back twice since. There's only 1 server but she holds the fort down well. We've branched out to try sushi rolls + sashimi and happy to say it's all yummy. The chefs gave us watermelon slices at the end of both visits here. Cherry (or watermelon) on top of satisfactory visits!

Place seemed clean and had a pleasant decor. The service was quick and friendly. The menu is really "all over the place" including sushi, ramen, bulgogi, tempura etc. They are trying too hard to be the jack of all Japanese foods but fail at the basics on any single item. We ordered the spicy rainbow roll and the combination tempura dinner. Both exhibited the symptoms of lacking flavor and freshness as well as being low on the learning curve for Japanese cuisine. The tempura was over battered and tasted of almost nothing but breading. The rice was hot but way too dry to be eaten. Miso soup was overpowering and simply too salty. The salad lettuce seemed fresh but the salad dressing was weird. The sushi was just bad unfortunately. The fish on top of the roll was mediocre at best. The spicy tuna inside the roll had zero flavor/spice and had the consistency of being in the refrigerator for a long while. The rice also lacked the right consistency or flavor; if it had any seasoned rice vinegar, I couldn't taste it. Sorry, but this place didn't meet our hopes or expectations.

Happy to report that their takeout is almost as special as dining in. Everything was meticulously plated and beautiful. There was even a butterfly made out of raw beet that my daughter was so delighted with that she ate it! Even the miso soup arrived hot and not a drop spilled.

My parents are picky, but they highly approved of the quality of the fish here! Excellent quality. Especially the Korean style chirashi (hwe dup bap) that's not available at every sushi place. Plus they put care and art into their plates- especially the fruit!!

I have tried probably over 100 sushi places all over the place and this has got to be one of my top 3 if you are local to Folsom it's my number 1 choice in Folsom go try it tonight and find out for yourself why I love it so much you can't go wrong with roll on the menu
