Nancy's has always been our go-to place for a delicious breakfast or lunch. It used to be run by Nancy, but after many years she has left for a well-deserved retirement. I am happy to report that the restaurant continues to be a great choice. The new owner, Mr. Bulent Aras, has worked hard to preserve its charm. Our favorite waitress, Kim, is still there, as are many of the other attentive staff. The food continues to be tasty with generous portions, despite the high price of eggs. There is fun art on the walls and homemade jam in many flavors. Most importantly, Bulent is very open to suggestions and to accommodating customer dietary needs. We can tell that he values customer service as key to his business' success. It is nice that a local business can continue to serve our community so well.

Open-faced turkey sandwich and a homemade cornbeef hash and eggs breakfast. Turkey was moist and flavorful and the hash was savory and not from the can! On the side had cottage cheese and sourdough toast with an excellent fig jam. Shared a fluffy, hot, Belgian Waffle with some heated syrup and whipped butter topping. That ornate glass jar the heated syrup came in was a nice touch. Everything was tasty and pricey IMO. Friendly staff and one of the best Arnold Palmers I've had. It came out unsweetened with a real deal tart lemonade taste. I added a couple of Splendas and it was ON!!! I'd return for sure. Auburn eats!!!We were greeted when we arrived and had a thanks for comin in on the way out. Friendly staff for sure with good service!! Bathroom was clean too! Visit Nancy's in Auburn!

Third time here.Looks like the place is under different management--didn't see Nancy or the family hot sauce!Food is still good and plentiful. I had a hard time deciding what to order since there were so many attractive dishes.I had San Francisco Joe's scramble. My partner in breakfasting had the cranberry orange pancakes and added berries. Coffee all around. We are full and happy.Recommended.

We love Nancy's Cafe, have been going there for years. They have new owners now and they are still the best. The new owners are friendly, welcoming and the food is still very good if not better. New pictures on the wall and new paint. Stop by and welcome them to our area.

I had the hillbilly mainly because I wanted to try the country fried bacon. It was pretty good, but I wished there was more than just one strip of it. I also enjoyed the gravy on top of my biscuit. Portions are quite big.Service is efficient. The food came out quickly. Whenever a table was finished and the party left, it was bussed quickly. We came before the rush of people, so we didn't have to wait for a table. If you find yourself in the area, check it out!

What a find! We were leaving a wedding party in Placerville and stopped in Auburn for a quick brunch before we headed back to the Bay Area. Plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall type-location. We had seven in our party. We didn't have to wait at all. They immediately moved tables and chairs to accommodate us. The food came quickly and they brought out all the accoutrements we asked for- Cholula, Tapatio, Tabasco, a chili sauce. We all ordered the fresh Orange juice and coffee. The group ordered an assortment of their breakfast platters and benedicts (all between appx. $12-$20). The platters offered a ton of food: eggs, meat, salsa, potatoes, toast, avocado). We also ordered a table peach and sugared ginger waffle and it was delicious. We had a great time and if/ when we come back through/ to Auburn- we will definitely stop by again. Thanks for the great meal.

My husband and I stopped here after an early morning hike at Hidden Falls! We already had breakfast that day, so we were excited to know that you could get lunch at 10:45 am!! The staff was all so friendly and the restaurant was really clean, that's what I noticed first. The burger was delicious!! My husband definitely got the prize for tastiest entree, although my chicken sandwich was really tasty too! We got a salad instead of fries. The salad was cold, crispy, and fresh! The iced tea was plentiful and freshly brewed - we were even given a refill for the road.We weren't offered dessert, so I'm not sure if they have anything sweet or not. We were basically just handed the check after our plates were cleared. It felt a little unceremonious - which was a weird ending for a really great meal.

As new Auburnites, we discovered and fell in love with Nacy's Cafe. First, the owner and staff are so friendly, and service is great. Then, the food. Best in all of Auburn. The grilled tuna...best ever- big chunks of albacore. Delish. Gotta have the uber-garlic fries! Disappointed that they don't offer dessert, but we've never had room for it, anyways. Go to Nancy's Cafe!
