Ms. Wendi's Preschool Childcare

My son has been at Ms. Wendi's since he was a year old. He is now 6 years old and in 1st Grade and goes there after school. She provides healthy breakfast and lunch and snacks in between for the kids! I am very confident in leaving my son there for child care and feel that she cares for my son in the same way I would care for him. She definitely has been a blessing to us.

When you look for care for your children, you hope for someone clean, nurturing, organized, and experienced. Wendi hit every single criteria I had. My daughter and I were lucky enough to get into her home care preschool when my daughter was only 1, she stayed until she was 5. Ms. Wendi had her so ready for K and then helped direct us so that we could have her tested and brought into K 1 year earlier (her bday misses the cut off). Today, in 3rd grade, those lasting impressions of learning are still positively impacting her academics. If you're gonna choose a home childcare in Natomas, this is where you need to be. Beautiful home, well structured planning, and communicates with her parents wonderfully. Thanks Ms. Wendi for helping Maleah all of those years.

My son attended Ms. Wendi's Preschool Childcare from age 2 to 8. Wendi is very caring and nurturing and her preschool program taught him how to write his name and, as a result, he began kindergarten well ahead of most of his peers. Throughout his first four years of school, Wendi picked up my son and took care of him until we were able to pick him up after work. One of my favorite memories of our time at Ms. Wendi's Preschool Childcare was the overwhelming love and support she gave our son when he graduated from preschool. Wendi held a graduation ceremony for him, got a cake for him, and even had graduation pictures taken of him! We are thankful for Wendi and her team and they will always be part of our family!

I'm so happy my daughter attended Ms. Wendi's preschool. My daughter is now a second grader. She attended ms Wendi's very young,actually she was still in diapers. The staff is very caring, they are always Sanitizing the place because of germs. Kids are Fed three times a day. Ms Wendi is very attentive when it comes to the kids they also learn sign language. My daughter was also potty trained there after having a pretty hard time at home. I also like the fact the kids have a graduation ceremony before going to kindergarten. I highly recommend this school.

When my daughters were 10 months old and 2 years old, we needed to find daycare/preschool in North Natomas. We looked at more than 5 in home daycare/preschools in the area and also looked at the bigger preschools. Ms. Wendi's was by far the best we looked at and we are incredibly happy that we chose to send our girls here. Now, 2 years later, the girls love going to Ms. Wendi's and have a great group of friends. My 4 year old has been kindergarten ready for over a year and is now doing things well beyond the kindergarten level. My other daughter who is not even 3, knows how to spell and write her name, knows her alphabet, can count and color nice and neatly. Ms. Wendi was also instrumental in potty training for both of them and when people asked me how they got potty trained so quickly, I have to give most of the credit to the great environment at Ms. Wendi's. You get the all the benefits of an in home daycare along with the exceptional education of preschool.

Ms. Wendi's preschool is the most phenomenal child care around. I happened to find her on yelp when I was looking to put my son in preschool and it was truly a gem. She is so patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable in taking care of the kids. She prides herself on advanced education. My son went there 2 years before he started kindergarten and by the time he went to K, he was reading! His teacher expressed he was WAY more advanced than the other children. Even during the pandemic, learning didn't stop. Ms Wendi became more like family and we appreciate her more than we could ever express!

I needed to find a new daycare and honestly, as soon as I spoke to Wendi on the phone, I felt comfortable and a sense of trust...I don't know how else to describe it. My daughter started at Ms. Wendi's when she was 2.5yrs old. Highlights of this daycare and preschool:Cleanliness- I was concerned about having my daughter so isolated once COVID pandemic hit. After a couple months, Ms. Wendi cautiously reopened. And I never had any concerns about catching COVID because she took all precautions to offer a safe and sanitary environment. In addition to daily cleaning, deep cleaning occurs every week.Potty training/life skills- Within a couple of months, my daughter was completely day potty trained! Also, life skills of cleaning up after yourself/sharing/ helping each other/taking turns, tying shoes, being polite and respectful, using words to communicate, etc are all practiced regularly. Food- all meals and snacks were provided. This is an amazing convenience of not having to worry about packing meals daily. Meals are nutritious and my daughter continues to love veggies thanks to Ms. Wendi.Education- There is a daily schedule which includes arts/crafts, playtime and age-appropriate curriculum (alphabet, counting, colors, writing name, sight words, etc). They take field trips to the park, celebrate all the holidays and frankly we have received some of the sweetest memento gifts thanks to Ms. Wendi's creativity. My daughter is starting kindergarten next week and the one thing I have zero concerns about "Is she academically prepared for school?"... YES thanks to Ms. Wendi and her staff!!! Friends have commented that my daughter seems so advance, and I give all credit to Ms. Wendi. I love the small intimate environment of in-home care and the exceptional educational foundation that my daughter received. Also, Ms. Wendi holds an adorable preschool graduation for all the children going off to kindergarten. What I appreciated most about Ms. Wendi is her business is not just a daycare. She genuinely cares about each child and helping them to grow academically and personally. If you are able to catch this preschool when they have an opening, you want to jump on it!

Both of my daughters attended Ms. Wendi's daycare for 3 yrs until we sadly had to move out the area. My now 3 yr old was 5 months and my 5yr old was 2yrs. when they first began. When my girls showed signs of being ready for potty training as early as 13 months she was agreeable to begin training in conjunction with us at home. With her support our daughter was using the potty by 15 months! Wendi prepared them both for kindergarten. My 5 yr old just started kindergarten and she is doing great and ahead of the game with her sight words and writing. When we moved 1 yr ago we continued to drive almost 1hr out of the way for 1 full yr. We continued bringing our girls to her school, because we trust and value the care and education she provides.Wendi always treated our girls like family. We miss her dearly and appreciate her love and affection for our girls.

Wendi took care of my daughter since before she was 2 and my son from 2 months. She truly loves the children as if they were her own. Both of my kids absolutely love her and all of her staff. I feel so lucky to have come across her. Both kids went straight from her preschool into Kindergarten. She more than prepared them for school. They have both excelled and I owe that to Wendi. Look no further. She is the absolute BEST!

Ms. Wendi is a great childcare center and I would (and have) recommended her services to anyone in need of care for their children. My son has been going to Ms. Wendi's for afterschool and off-track care for the past two years. He looks forward to going to Ms. Wendi's because, in his words, "she has great food and I get to play with my friends". When you walk into Ms. Wendi's you will instantly forget that this is an at home daycare due to the decorations and children's work that line the walls. Ms. Wendi and her staff make sure that the kids have plenty of educational time and craft projects that help them learn about seasons and holidays. Ms. Wendi and her staff are caring and attentive to the children in care. From recognizing each child's birthday to the end of the year graduation and party, you can tell that their is a true love for what they do. I know it is hard to find someone that you are comfortable leaving your child with because no one will care for them like you will as a parent but, I am happy to have found Ms. Wendi and her staff because they are the next best thing to my care as a parent.
