My son came here last summer (1st going on 2nd at the time). I was hesitant at first since it was in a strip mall area and Vintage Park isn't the greatest area. We're from the suburbs, so the cramped space was a little getting used to.Education: This gets 5 stars!! The instructors worked magic. My son hated math, but after the summer, he had such a great head start and math came easy to him and loves math now. I was worried that they were rushing him, but they assessed him and kept on pushing him and made it fun for him to learn. He picked up new science and skills that we didn't expect. On Friday's they go on field trips. It is usually $10 more, but my son loved these field trips.Fun activities are on Fridays and do do art, science, and music throughout the day. Other than location, the only thing I don't like about this place is that the kids walk to the park during the day and in the summer time, it's super hot and this is probably why I won't put my 4 year old here this year. We'll just have my son come here in the summer.During the school year, I understand they have before/after school and they will drive the kids/pick up the kids. The staff is very friendly and fun and the are so flexible.

I started going to MPM nearly a decade ago when my parents, true to the stereotypical Asian parent image, decided to push me in math. Although I hated it at the time since I wanted to play instead of do extra homework, I realize now how beneficial MPM has been for me. There were many areas that I learned ahead of my classmates, causing me to excel in math. In addition to this, in MPM I learned a lot of thinking skills; it wasn't just "memorize how to do this" but "think about the concepts and you can learn how to do a problem you haven't seen before." Basically, I learned how to learn math while also learning math in MPM.MPM also taught me how to do math in my head. I remember having to do a lot of heavier math in my head--i.e. multiplying something like 68*57, or even 25*234. This is so helpful now in college, as a lot of exams don't allow calculator use but the professors still want you to be able to do that kind of math. Having the skills to figure it out in my head or quickly with a bit of scratch paper saves so much precious time on exams, and just makes it all less stressful.I also liked how MPM gives the students objects like blocks to aid their solving of math problems. Visualization really is helpful in math.In short, MPM made me really good at math, and the payoff has been awesome.

The center is ran haphazardly. With the "Typos" in the schedule, fee list and misinformation given by the administrator, You may or may not get what you paid for. Here is my experience with the center... After signing the agreement for Spanish class. I got a call a couple of days later to tell me that the fee is REALLY $100.00 more per mo. than the fee list says and what we discussed and agreed on. My class was to start at 2:00 pm. When I get there the time had changed to 1:30. so I had a 30 min class instead of 1 hour.I was told Saturday classes was available (NOT). After all the changes, I was told that they "may" be able to give me a "credit" toward the REAL fee. Now! I have gotten use to poor customer service. However, there was no consideration for the time and gas I spent driving back and fourth across town for this. The fact that the lady Never said "I AM SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE" is why I am posting this.P.O Thompson

My son has been going to MPM since he was four years old. Now, he's eight and still enjoys going there weekly. MPM Learning Center offers different classes that will accommodate your kids after school and on the weekends. My son has piano on Saturdays, karate, science, and one-on-one English tutoring on the weekdays. The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable, and well-educated. The place here is very clean, affordable, and convenient. The location is on a well lit busy corner street. You can trust that your kids are in a safe and nurturing environment. The staff are flexible and will accommodate with your work schedules. Plus it's nice that they don't charge extra like some other learning centers. My son has learned so much since he's been here. He's become more sociable with his peers in school and at MPM Learning Center. Since he's been here his grades have never fallen short from an A. During the summer time, they have a Summer Tutoring Curriculum Program for kids between 5-18. My son looks forward to this every year. Thanks to MPM Learning Center, my son has excelled academically and socially. We will definitely be referring this place to our friends and family. In addition, I will be sending my daughter next year for kindergarten.

I've been sending my kids to MPM Learning Center for over 6 years. The tutors and staff are very nice and knowledgeable. I send my kids there for group tutoring, private tutoring and piano classes. My kids get a lot of attention because the groups are small (4-6 students per tutor). They have many programs to choose from and they are very flexible with the scheduling. As long as I give them advance notice, they adjust their schedule to fit my schedule. I highly recommend MPM Learning Center!
