The people are super friendly and the course is challenging. The restaurant has good food and always has a great selection of beers on tap.

Golf course pretty much is a shambles. Lots of hard pan solid ground surrounding poor quality fairways. Thin & wet sand in bunkers, some are hard as asphalt. Most of the challenging putting greens are playable with a few exceptions of large bare spots on a few holes. The driving range is possibly the ugliest in the Sacramento valley. The range balls are old trash.Yamaha golf carts are in good condition. The 4 staff members I met we all friendly and helpful. This golf course has plenty of potential to be much better. Needs a few million $$$'s of improvements. Unfortunately because of the poor condition it will frustrate and disappoint a golfer who is an 18 handicap or better. Not recommended.

Super cute place to have a wedding. The outdoor gazebo was a great place to have the ceremony. The inside of the venue was a large space, good size dance floor, and beautiful white drapery. There were large windows but they have curtains to cover them when the sun was shining brightly. The food we had as wedding guests were two salads, spring vegetables, finger potatoes, mushroom ravioli, and steak. It was very tasty and everyone was full.

Long time Golfer in Sacramento area, first time at Morgan Creek today. Friendly staff and actually very cool track. But course is not in good shape- even for January. If I bought a house on this course or in this development I'd be pissed that they let this course go like this. Put some $ into this track and it could be special.

The first time I played here I thought the layout was really fun and challenging but the conditions were horrendous. The fairways consisted of big dirt fields, patchy, and bumpy. The marshal told me that they're making efforts to improve the conditions. Since then, I've played here about 4 more times over the course of 2 years and the conditions just seemed to get worse and worse. I really wouldn't mind since I enjoy golfing so much and it's always a pleasure to just get out and hit some balls but the green fees just don't reflect the conditions. I played here again yesterday and I do believe it'll be my last time here. Online, the green fees stated $39 but when I got there, I ended up paying $70. We're in the middle of fall and it was a Thursday at 1pm. I don't understand how they're still charging these prices when the conditions get worse. The fairways have been reduced to bare dirt with crabgrass starting to grow in. There are gopher holes all throughout the rough and NONE of the bunkers have sand, just hard cracked dirt. The tee boxes aren't level and there is no water on the course (might be good for some golfers). However, the greens seemed fine but the green side rough was not. I'd like to reiterate that the layout makes this course extremely fun and provides interesting challenges, it just doesn't compensate for the how bad the conditions continuously remain. I'd love to play here again one day where there is at least consistent grass on the fairways but it doesn't seem like it'll happen anytime soon. I do not recommend this course.

I haven't played this course in about a year. The course is in way better condition than before. However, I thought we had a good deal on the round with our tee time at 11:27 for $39/per player. Well, when I signed up online thru the Morgan Creek website, the system took me to GolfNow. com. That was an additional $4.98 fee. Ok, I understand that. Maybe, the golf course has tech limitations and use the 3rd party. But when I checked in, I paid by debit card and the guy in the shop only told me to wait for the beep since I was using tap. Later, in early evening, I looked at my checking account and found out I was charged another $4.98 fee for using a card and not cash. I called the golf shop and was told that there was a sign that read 2.9 processing fee. Nope, I did not see the sign. And the guy who answered the phone just said "that's the bank and their fees. Sorry about that Hon'.". So, $39/per player was increased to +$9.98/per player. I understand businesses want to make an income, but hidden fees? Really? Not a good deal!

Condition of the greens were embarrassing. Bunkers were un maintained. Kids playing on 18 one riding his bike on the green. Obviously not a fan and won't be back.
