Mimi'Z petting zoo

This place is so very cool! Tanya is seriously THE BEST, EVER! She's so much fun and the kiddos had an absolute BLAST! We drove up from SoCal to visit our son and granddaughter and were able to sneak in a quick visit to see all the great animals and critters there. So much fun!If you're looking for a fun thing to do for a child's birthday party or whatever, please do not hesitate to reserve this awesome place!! Miss Tanya really goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and the animals are just the icing on the cake. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND MIMI'Z Petting Zoo to EVERYONE!!!!!

Our son is really into farm animals right now. Unfortunately we weren't able to find actual petting zoos that we can take him near us, so we resorted to state fairs and pumpkin patches' mobile petting zoo. This is where Mimi'Z Petting Zoo comes in. When we found out that there's petting zoo in Woodland (super close to Sacramento!!), I knew we had to go. Mimi'Z Petting Zoo is run by a wonderful woman/animal rescuer named Tanya. We were able to get scheduled in (the only opening was 6 weeks out) and we went today. I knew little ones would have a blast but it turns out, teenagers were really into spending time with the animals and of course, little ones were just in love and never wanted to leave. My son asked me to leave him there to live. Tanya had patience of a saint, answered a lot of questions and you can just tell that she adores and cares for these rescue animals. Some of the animals she has: chickens, geese, pigs, quails, turtles, ducks, goats, sheep, alpaca, possum, mice, snakes, and many many more!We had such a good time thanks to Tanya's hospitality, we can't wait to return. *sigh* I'm secretly cursing myself for having my child during the winter! (Petting zoo does birthday parties too, so reach out to Tanya! It'll be a hit and definitely worth it )

Mimi'z is the BEST petting zoo around. Tanya is not running your average petting zoo. She has a true gift working with animals and kids. She came to our home with her animals for our children's birthday party in March. It was the BEST party because of her and her animals. It was a rainy day so we thought we were going to have to cancel, but Tanya was super flexible and made due on our covered patio. The kids and even adults had so much fun, it was truly the highlight of our day. And Tanya had the patience of a saint. She was so kind and easygoing with the kids. Then today we were invited to go to her zoo, and it was such a special day. I highly recommend having Tanya bring her animals to your party, or even schedule a time to go to her petting zoo. You won't regret it :)

What an incredible experience! My two kiddos, my husband and I were treated to a private tour of Tanya's farm/petting zoo and loved every minute of it. She took the time to educate the kids on proper handling and shared fun tidbits about each animal. It's so clear how much love she has for all of these rescues! Also so considerate to offer us beverages (it was hot today!) and brownies to go. Give her a call and ask when she's available!!! This is an opportunity you don't want to miss!

We had a wonderful experience at Mimi'z petting zoo! My energetic 3 year old had a blast. Tanya was friendly and so patient with him. She allowed him to lead the pace of the visit and he got to pet and hold so many different animals. She took the time to educate us on how to handle the animals. 10 out of 10 experience, we can't wait to go again! I have been telling my friends and family about the farm so they can visit too.

We took the kids with a few other parents and this was a great experience. Mimi did an amazing job of introducing the kids to the animals and spacing it out with wiggle time and snacks. Kids had an absolute blast and the parents did too. Was an hour drive for us but felt really worth it, especially comparing to other places we have been. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

If you are looking for an experience for the entire family you have to check out the spectacular petting zoo right here in Woodland! From mini goats, a pot bellied pig, tortoise, rabbits and even a snake this is an experience like no other. The owner puts so many special touches on the experience from hot chocolate and donuts on cold mornings and cute stuffed animal bunnies that were available for purchase. I can't say how amazing Tanya is!!! She brought a mobile petting zoo to my son's 3rd birthday and it was a total hit. Everyone raved about how amazing she is and how fun it was to have the petting zoo at our party. She was so kind, easy to work with, and great with all the kids. She went above and beyond to make our party special (even made the kids animal necklaces AND took pictures for me of our guests with the animals! I look forward to visiting her barn sometime soon also. Thank you so much!!

What an incredible experience! The owner, Tonya and her husband let all of our little group handle each type of animal and were so patient with the little ones! We lived the stories of how they were all adopted and the personalized attention we were given! Best petting zoo we have ever been to in all my sixty odd years!
