Mikasa Asian Fusion

This restaurant is an Asian Fusion with a Japanese focus. The rolls are fresh and flavorful! The service is great. Our server took our order promptly. We started with fried gyozas that were devoured within seconds. The chicken katsu was crispy yet tender. We really enjoyed the California Express, Lion king, and lobster rolls. Each roll was delicious, and everyone had their own favorite. We ended up ordering another California Express because the 12 year old in our group loved them!The place is a bit noisy, but it's great to hang out with friends and just enjoy a few rolls over some sake.

We moved into a new home and did not have a proper fridge for several weeks. Mikasa kept us alive!We're planning to try everything eventually, but some of our favorites and staples are:*seaweed salad - always so FRESH*calamari - not greasy, lightly battered, spices and toppings make this unique!*miso soup*chicken katsu*pepper fin tuna - delicious!!*escolar - very special and perfectly made!*titan roll - excellent texture and taste*aurora roll - refreshing with a gentle dip in the light soy sauce*tiger roll - wonderfully constructed for eel lovers*fried rice - accompaniment for katsu*all of their dessert!!!The restaurant is moderately sized for the location. There is ample parking. Service is great, thanks to Rose, Alex, Talisa, and the rest of the team. We are so glad to find a sushi place close to home, and it is next to a cute bookshop to boot!

Fresh and tasty We do our laundry next door that's how we discovered this delicious sushi place did I say it was so fresh and the waiter and waitress are very prompt and we never have to wait long at all for our food and the check they refilled our drinks right away woo Hoo!!!

A friend recently recommended this place and it is our new favorite in the Folsom area. We can get here faster than driving to the Palladio area some days. We love ordering the sushi boats, Michelle, Highway 50 & Hell in Heaven rolls. This is a family operated business & also the first place I've been to with a female sushi chef.

This gem has some AMAZING sushi. I always get the matador roll and my man gets the Vegas roll. They're both SO YUMMY! The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is clean! A MUST try! =)

Thank you for having amazing fresh quality sushi and great price. There ceviche and highway 50 is our favorite. We eat here at least once a month if not more. It's our favorite sushi place and guarantee you this will become your favorite sushi place.

Soop goodWow ally neighborhood sushi placed were closed.on a Sunday!? Of course I searched Yelp to see any sushi places open and has good reviews. This place popped up with many in Folsom. We rather stay in our hood. The young man that took my order over the phone was very very helpful. I felt bad because I had more than normal questions. The sushi was soo good and fresh. This is our new sushi spot!

HONEST REVIEW: Cameron park and placerville are weird places to get foreign food because I don't know if they try to trick you because they don't think the people in the area are familiar with the food, but they overpriced for poorly made served food thinking you won't catch it...the fish and rice aren't fresh EVER and you can taste it and see it in the presentation. I was excited to try them out this year seeing all the reviews but as I stated, I truly think the people up here don't know what good sushi taste like or what it's supposed to be presented but I'm always met with the dissatisfaction of it being poorly made or none of the ingredients being fresh and unfortunately spending $60 on the cheapest rolls and still getting it poorly made not even finishing what we got ( i hate calling food nasty so I'm using poorly ). Eating dine in is uncomfortable because when you ask about it not being fresh they just shrug it off and if you order it for pick up, it's rushed and everyone knows what's that like no one's enjoys a sloppy meal...I just truly think they need to get the food and taste right before they start putting crazy prices and them tasting absolutely horrible....retrain on how to make them maybe get fresher ingredients don't rush. Just coming from a customer whose experience this more than once with them and is annoyed I spent money on icky food I didn't finish when I could've got Kiki's if I wanted a mushed up meal.
