Owner Ruben continually charges even after you sign a cancellation form. Changes his wording on policies to trap you into paying more. Hasn't claimed his business via yelp or google... to avoid accountability. Doesn't answer or respond once you try and "leave". Very unprofessional and SHADY. gym is small, and overpriced with poor service. I have run into multiple people experiencing the same experience. Don't sign up unless you know for sure you never want to quit. Otherwise you'll have to call your bank to actually stop getting charged.

Beautiful and effective gym with a full ring right in the heart of midtown. Absolutely loved the owners business strategy. I was simply looking through the windows and he generously introduced himself and invited me in for a better look. A solid, humble small business owner that deserves some shine. Sounded like he knows what he's talking about with his boxing training too. Highly recommended!

My husband got me a membership here for Christmas while we were staying in Sacramento for a few months, and I'm so glad he did. I've been doing some form of martial arts/boxing since 1998, and have seen a lot of gyms all over North America. This one is awesome, for so many reasons. First: I'm a girl. That means my gym experience (especially in the testosterone-fueled boxing industry) usually sucks, thanks to creepy guys attempting all kinds of nonsense while I'm trying to work out. Everyone here was super-respectful, and focused on their own business. Two: The owner Steve, who was friendly and accommodating from the first. Also, the place is supervised by an amazing gentleman by the name of Reuben. This guy is old-school polite, and was beyond helpful with my training. Due to some health issues/injuries I'd been out of Muay Thai for a while, and he was super patient in helping me get back into my boxing routine. Three: The gym itself. All the equipment and bags you could need, plus a great ring. (Bonus? Next to Rick's Dessert Diner, if you need to replace some calories. Just saying'.) Looking forward to coming back to Sacramento soon so I can continue training here!

Just finishing my first month here, and I couldn't be happier. I loved my old gym, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to try a nice place that's three blocks from home. It's incredibly clean. The equipment is in terrific shape. I'm used to barbells, dumbbells, and single-purpose machines. I always used to think that multi-purpose machines were mediocre at best, but the two multi-purpose cable machines here have definitely changed my attitude. They are incredibly versatile, smooth and sturdy. I've incorporated many variations into each of my workouts with some really noticeable gains.Cardio equipment is also in great shape, and the ellipticals sync effortlessly with my heart rate chest strap. You can access the gym early morning through late evening using a keyless fob - another big win for this place. The gym feels spacious and bright, and the vibe is very friendly. The owner, Steve, is a great guy and will go out of his way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. He's _almost_ talked me into doing some boxing training. Looking forward to trying that as well. The place is a great addition to the neighborhood. Check it out - you won't be disappointed.

The other night my partner Amy and I took our young nephew to Rick's desert diner (next door to this place) for a sundae. As we walked by, Bryce was transfixed by a couple of boxers in the ring in a spirited sparring session. We watched at the window for a bit and then the gentleman apparently running the place opened the door and said "You like boxing?? Come on in!" He let Bryce sit ringside on the corner stool and watch the bout. The kid's face was stuck in a smile the rest of the night. And aunty and uncle became rockstars without even trying. I think that's just an awesome thing to do for a kid just because. And I think it speaks to the character of the coach and the place. To those interested in training there, the place looked spotless, had really nice equipment and both boxers had spirited coaches instructing from the corners.

Really chill place to work out early in the morning and late at night. It's pretty busy during the day. Good location if you are in midtown. Members also have 24 hour access which is convenient.
