Farmers market is the B plotThere is so much street food and diverse foods here! Just to name what I can remember, churros, mexican, bread, pastries, coffee, burgers, caban cuisine, popcorn, etc. And of course the farmers marketThis place stretches out in one line and also has branches of more stalls to the left and right, barricaded by black vansAs a street foods lover, this is heaven! Highly recommend going here if you get the chance, theres definitely a place for everyone(Ps dont be too scared of price, thats just how food trucks/stands are)I didnt buy anything but just looking I know I would love to buy some of these foods5/5

Quality vendors found at this market. Great selection on different items from vegetables, fruits, clothing, food trucks, etc. I like the family-oriented environment. Dog-friendly farmers market, always a plus in my book. Only downfall about this busy market is the parking in downtown sucks. But if you come early you can score some parking close to the market.

The Midtown Farmers Market is hands down one of the best ways to spend a Saturday in Sacramento! We're lucky to participate here every week, and it's always a highlight. Whether you're planning a day date or bringing the whole family, there's something for everyone to enjoy.Dogs are welcome, which makes it even more fun, and there's so much to see--from local artisans showcasing their craft to fresh, seasonal produce that's perfect for stocking up on. And of course, you can't miss out on the incredible food trucks, featuring some of the best eats in the city (if we do say so ourselves!).The vibrant atmosphere, friendly vendors, and amazing variety make the Midtown Farmers Market a true gem in Sacramento. If you haven't been yet, make it a priority--you'll love it!

I love the Midtown Farmer's Market, and I use to come more often when I first moved to Sacramento. The market is year-round, and it's a fun place to shop locally for hot and ready foods, flowers, fruits/veggies, plants, and home goods. This morning, I decided to visit solo. I usually come with my partner and/ or friends, and I don't plan to ever come back alone after the experience I had today.I parked about a block away on N Street, and as soon as I got out of my car, I noticed someone close on my heels that made an unwelcoming comment. I was immediately put off and felt relieved as soon as I reached the barricades that block off the farmer's market. Once I reached the market, the crowds made me feel more comfortable, and all the vendors were friendly. This weekend, I picked up a few local food products, sampled some red walnuts, and browsed around. The farmer's market has a good mix of individuals, couples, and families, and many folks bring dogs on leash! It's always a joy to see so many fur friends. When I was ready to leave and make the short walk back to my car, I had another unpleasant experience with an aggressive individual screaming vulgarities at me as I was preparing to cross the street at the corner of Capitol and 20th. The individual then turned and started screaming the same vulgarities at a mother with two young children. I was horrified for her and myself, and I immediately crossed the street so I wouldn't be alone on the same sidewalk. It's unfortunate since this critique is reflective of the area, not the market itself. Next time, I'll plan to park on the opposite side closer to J, but feel that Sac PD should be more present to help mitigate and deescalate these types of situations.

The best little market around! (Seriously! It was voted the best farmers market in Cali!)We love this local tradition. It's more of a "scene" than a true farmer's market: live music, food trucks, kiddie play area, wine tasting, local crafts, bouquets of freshly picked flowers, and yes, even some produce. Parking in the neighborhood can be tough due to the popularity of the market, so consider riding your bike. They have a bike valet! Some of our favorite vendors include Frenchy's yogurt, Sweet Nita's (don't miss her famous brookie!), and anyone selling fresh fruit (there are lots of free samples!) our newest fave is: Dipped Delights where they drizzle melted chocolate over your cup of fresh strawberries!

One of my favorite Saturday traditions in Sacramento! The farmers market has grown so much over the last few years and it's such a wonderful addition to the community. They've also expanded the hours! There are dedicated areas of the market for different types of goods: produce, artisanal goods, and food. There are always multiple musicians playing and the market is extremely family and dog-friendly. It's the perfect place to start your Saturday morning and also to get gifts for the holidays!

I love the Midtown Farmers Market! It makes me feel like an adult when I wake up early on the weekends and take a stroll through the market. I was on a mission today to buy some local honey and bought a giant jar for $19 which is cheaper than you will find in stores and local is much better especially if you have allergies. The Midtown Farmers Market has literally everything! Vintage clothes, handmade goods, dog treats, an abundance of fruits and veggies, flowers, and TONS and TONS of food! We grabbed tamales during this recent trip to bring home and have for dinner.I love how huge the market is and how it has expanded in size over the years - it has grown at least 3 or 4 times since it originally opened! I could spend hours here! You can even take a break and grab a beer at one of the local businesses that line either side of the market - my favorites are Lowbrau and Alaro Brewery!I'm sure I'll be back next weekend!

I have gone to the Saturday farmer's market for three weekends in a row now. We love bringing our dog with us as well, and she especially loves the dog treat booths that provide free samples. There isn't easy parking close by, however if you park anywhere in midtown you can walk to this market. It has a good variety of produce and craft vendors. We love buying local honey and mushrooms at this market. There is usually live music, I have noticed more street performers that add to the lively ambiance lately. Everyone is so friendly and my dog loves all the attention she gets when she goes to the farmers market!

Love the farmers market so much! I go every weekend that I'm in town. Tons of food trucks if you're interested in eating. I only go for the fresh produce, condiments, and snacks. It's a little more expensive than say Safeway, but it's all seasonal and local. I enjoy walking around and petting all the doggos. I've also seen an iguana and I think a bunny in a stroller. Some of my favorite vendors are:Frenchy gourmet: yogurt $8, granola $10, veggie chips $10. Xenia foods: hummus $8, pita bread $10, sauces $8. And the guy who sells the farm raised pork: bacon, chops.
