The campus staff are professional , enthusiastic and friendly, and the campus atmosphere is very harmonious. The teachers here provide new training and guidance according to the different characteristics of each child, and take great care of my child. It is a place worth recommending.

We are truly honored to have discovered this treasure school. Our daughter loves coming to school here. The principal Ms.Terrie and the teachers are so nice, friendly and kind, especially our daughter's teacher Ms. Sara!!Merryhill keeps us so well informed about our daughter's activities, meals, and even shares pictures. Regular updates like these not only give us peace of mind but also allow us to feel more connected to our daughter's daily experiences and milestones. Highly recommended!! You won't regret it.

As a stay-at-home mom of 3 children, who have vastly different personalities, I cannot imagine a learning environment more nurturing than Merryhill Preschool. My oldest child is almost 11, and attended Merryhill, starting in 2012. We had just moved back to Sacramento, from out-of-state, and the teachers and staff made that transition amazingly smooth for a 4-year old. Not once did he fail to tell me how much fun he had at school each day. He is now at the top of his class, academically, and still fondly remembers his days at Merryhill. My middle child is almost 9, and he attended Merryhill for 3 years. He was more emotional and clingy, and hated being away from mom. But, the staff were so accommodating and cheery that, within 1 week, he succumbed to their advances and couldn't wait to go to school every morning. He, too, is now one of the top academic performers in his grade. My youngest child is almost 4, and is currently enrolled in his first year at Merryhill. He has always been EXTREMELY attached and would throw a huge fit every time I dropped him off. But the Merryhill staff are so amazing at being both firm, yet patient. Very patient! We had ONE WHOLE MONTH of screaming fits at drop off, but the teachers would always hug him, distract him, and play with him, so mom/dad could finally sneak away. I would always peek at the interaction between my youngest son and his teachers through the window blinds, and I would never fail to see the teachers holding my son, gently wiping away his tears, talking to him, acting silly...whatever he needed to become his cheery self again. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. There have been many times where I wished I could take the Merryhill teachers and staff home with me!Now that my youngest is settled in (It's been 5 months.), he is learning at an incredible pace. Their academic program is extremely rigorous, but never once have any of my children come home without telling me that they had a super-fun day at school. I volunteer in my older kids' classrooms regularly, and the Merryhill kids are always at the top of their classes. There is absolutely no other preschool in the Pocket/Greenhaven area where I would rather send my kids. Thank you Merryhill for the amazing and fun leaning environment you provide every day!

We are long term parents who have had 2 children attend Merryhill. Both attending as infant and staying into preschool age. Picking a daycare is always difficult for parents. But dropping off my children at Merryhill I feel at ease. Merryhill offers structure and safe play for the children. The facility is always kept neat and clean. Both my husband and I work full time and we've always had great confidence in leaving our children in the care of Merryhill staff. They have great communication. Communicate with parents thru an app via phone, folders that go home frequently with the children's work done in the class and with the current curriculum that the children have been going over. I will always recommend Merryhill as a place for children to go, learn and grow.

The teachers and administrators at Merryhill Preschool in Pocket/Greenhaven are very warm and welcoming. They prioritize safety as their first focus and integrate the Links to Learning throughout each school day. They offer plenty of interactive "themed" days and serve nutritious foods with menus published monthly. I appreciate their responsiveness if ever I have a question or need to reach a teacher. Our daughter started the Beginner class in June and is already making friends and connecting with her teachers. Ms. Lauren & Ms. Em are ROCKSTARS!!! They have been very helpful with navigating her through the day and helping her with potty training. I am so grateful to have found the perfect place for my daughter to learn and develop in a safe and nurturing environment. 10/10 recommend Merryhill Preschool!

My son has been attending Merryhill since he was 8 weeks old and I highly recommend this institution. My baby boy has been well cared for by all the administration staff and his teachers in the different rooms that he has been. I feel very fortunate to have found a preschool where I know that my son is safe, cared and loved by the staff.

Pros: this school is great for your child's development. It provides structure mixed with fun. And it feels secure. Your child WILL learn a lot and be more than prepared for kindergarten! The cons: It's beyond expensive. And it feels like Merryhill only cares about your money at the end of the day. If your child is sick, guess what? You still have to pay. Oh and rates go up 1-2 times a year and it's not just a small increase, it's substantial. This school (because every Merryhill is different) the rates went up for the year and a month later they said they are giving their staff a raise so another rate increase would be added on top of that rate increase....wow! They have a ton of professional development days where you can't bring your kid into school...and you still have to pay lol. And this brings me to the last con, Covid. I will say Merryhill handled Covid great in the beginning, but after 2 years, it's been nothing but greed. So now, if a kid tests positive for Covid in your child's class, they cancel that class for the entire week AND you have to pay for it. Yep, so if your child is healthy and not sick, you have to keep them home and pay. Merryhill, change your greedy policy!

We have had our 3 kids attend Merryhill, our youngest still with a few years to go! Our oldest is now in 3rd grade but still likes to come back to visit her past teachers. We have always felt that the teachers and staff have been there for our children at every turn. Once one of our daughters beloved stuffed animals ripped apart and Ms. Monique and Ms. Susan made sure it was all stitched up by nap time so she could be calm and comfortable. It is hard to feel confident when you drop your children off but with Merryhill I know we have done the very best we could for our kids. Our two older children have transitioned well into elementary school. They were well prepared with a strong foundation made up of academics and social skills. Thankfully they didn't have to struggle in Kindergarten because of the great pre-k program at Merryhill. I know that the teachers pushed them to work hard and do their best with lots of caring encouragement. Socially I couldn't ask for more, we have made wonderful friendships that started in the infant room and stay strong 7 years later. Even though the kids have all gone off to different schools we have playdates often because they feel more like family than friends.
