This is a great spot to try if you're looking to get sandwiches or salads! I got the Peruvian steak sandwich and it was delicious. Very flavorful and the sauce that came with the sandwich gave it a nice kick. The workers are very friendly and give great recommendations if you are unsure of what to get. Seating inside can be limited but they have outdoor seating with heat lamps available.

So we've picked up food from Mendo Farms several times now, with mixed results. Sandwiches have been fine, salads just ok. The Mama Chen's chicken salad in particular was not to our liking. We wanted something light for supper tonight, so we thought we'd give the salads another shot. I ordered a Thai Mango and Mrs. Mike F. ordered the Baja Green Goddess. I arrived at Mendo Farms at the appointed time, but there was no sign of our order. After 10 minutes, I went to the counter to see what the delay was, and they informed me that they couldn't do the Baja salad as they were out of the veggies for it. I had to text Mrs. Mike F, she had to figure out something else to order (which pretty much came down to the Thai Mango one) and then i waited while they put that together. To their credit, they threw in a couple of cookies and a sample of a kale apple salad. This was really inconvenient, and convenience is about 70% of what they're selling. They had my number, so why did they not message me as soon as it became clear that they couldn't fill our order? The salads were just fine, but not great, so that didn't redeem them. The cookies were nice, but they need to fix their system. So ok food, poor ordering system. Two stars. Mike sez maybe think about going to the Buckhorn next door.

I'm kicking myself for how long it's taken me to finally try Mendocino Farms. It's located in a strip mall, so parking was ample. It was fairly late so we were the only ones there and the young man at the register offered multiple recommendations. We opted for the Chicken Pesto Caprese sandwich, November to Remember sandwich and a cup of tomato soup. They offer various lemonades and teas but no fountain sodas with the exception of 3 kinds of canned soda. While waiting for our food, the cashier came over as asked if we would be opposed to him upgrading our soup from a cup to a bowl....uh, of course not! That was super nice of him to do. My Caprese sandwich was so good, I can easily see this as my new food hyper fixation. My husband's November to Remember was basically Thanksgiving dinner in sandwich form. It had turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. The bowl of soup was huge so we were able to share it and it was nice and thick, not your typical watery tomato bisque other places have. I do wish the soup came with a side of bread tho. You can purchase a side of bread for $1 so not too big of a deal. As a tip, I'd recommend scanning the QR code on the tables to look at the menu versus the digital menu on the wall or the paper menus because the online menu shows images of each menu item, so for someone like me who is more of a visual person, this would have helped in making my decisions. Overall, I really enjoyed everything. I'm already planning my next trip to try out their steak sandwich and pickle and dill potato salad.

Vegan Banh Mi is still my favorite sandwich here! So good - ordered it this week after not trying it for months and months and it was like seeing a long lost friend. Easy to order online and pick up parking spaces for online orders are right up front. Sandwich was ready when I arrived! $13.16 was the total for the sandwich.

It took me a while to try this place and I wish I had gone sooner!! I really like their vegan banh mi and their impossible salad. They have great drinks too!! Their pickle potato salad is good. I wish it had more pickle. Didn't order it last time because the time before that I got a super small portion, and I dunno if it's worth the price for the size I got. Really friendly employees, the store is clean.

Ive had this sandwich spot about three times and every sandwich I have gotten has been delicious and well made! They have the option to dine in, deliver, and pickup. I have only gotten pick ups but the spot is always lively and filled of people, it usually takes around 20 minutes for a pickup order on a weekend which is not too bad compared to other places. I usually eat sandwiches on sourdough bread however, i recently switched to their sesame roll bread (vegan) and it has become my new favorite! Not too hard and not soft enough for it to become soggy. I also love how many ingredients are available to work with in order to customize the perfect sandwich!Mendocino farms has definitely become my favorite sandwich spot as of now! :)

I normally get the their infamous "not so fried chicken" Sando, but I decided to try their limited time offer Sando "November to Remember". I sure hope they offer this turkey Sando with stuffing and cranberries year round as Earl of Sandwich does, but Mendocino's version is OMG delicious! The toasted cranberry bread is light and contains bits of walnut pieces, mozzarella cheese was not really seen or tasted, the "spicy" cranberry chutney is actually mild but flavorful, and best of all the carved turkey breast slices were just that...not sliced from an 8lb. Jennie-0 deli chub on a Hobart slicer. The mushroom and turkey sausage was moist and tasty and not overpowering with sage seasoning. This was a pleasant pre-Thanksgiving treat...please Mendo execs...keep this throughout the Holidays!!

Visited the Freeport Location for the first time, which is located in the Raley's parking lot. It was lunch hour on a weekend, so parking was packed! After walking in, I was welcomed right away by the cashier and they offered to answer any questions about the menu. I went with the Turkey Avo Salsa Verde sandwich. Some places that have avocado on their sandwiches will include very little, but this sandwich was fully loaded! Ingredients were fresh and the salsa verde had a nice kick to it. I had waited a little while for my order so my server offered me a bag of chips which was really kind of them! 5 stars for the level of service! Thank you!

This was my very first visit to this restaurant. I was on a walk through the park with friends. We decided to all go for lunch together and ended up here. Expect to pay $12-15 for a sandwich that doesn't have any sides that come with it. Not even a pickle. Sides are all extra. The selection of sandwiches and sides on the menu are attractive. Prices are a bit on the high end. I got the chicken pesto sandwich on a square ciabatta bread chassis. It was very good, albeit somewhat wet, and the contents had a tendency to spill out from between the bread if you weren't careful.I enjoyed the sandwich a lot, but was disappointed that they don't include a pickle. (If I am paying $15 for a sandwich, I want a pickle !)

I don't know what it is about this store? Best one I goto. First the staff is hands down __, gotta give them __, Holy __ you just did 4 jobs at once. Most don't compliment this let alone even see it happening. But I have - been going here for years. That means that they still have a core crew that has been here for years. Do you know how hard it is to pull that off. Who ever they outsource the hiring to knows what the they are doing. One of them that always makes me smile is the guy that looks like he would watch the bachelor for down syndrome people. Wait, hear me out - he is so nice that he probably really watches a show like that because he has a huge heart for people. I can't even watch the bachelor alone. He genuinely cares so much that he will ask me how my and which is no matter how many times he has seen and heard me genuinely happy with it. Thank you! I once told the staff I didn't like it just for funskis and the reactions where priceless just like the new sandwich I got to try. Hence this Segway to happy. I hope that they are at least until someone who did not look happy from the time she walked in started giving a talk bout being happy. I almost lost my lunch. Think she would have been happy about that? If you want your staff to be happy while working, then there's a lot problems out there in the world you have yet to solve. For now maybe start doubling down on generative language models and creating prompts for AI clones in giant digital menu boards? Or hypnotism still works.
