My daughter was married at this venue this week. This is a conveniently located venue with nice gardens and a fantastic staff. Andy and Beta are the best! They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The rest of the service staff were very personable and efficient. I highly recommend this venue based on the stellar performance of the entire staff. Thank you Andy and Beta!

Wow, they must have paid yelp big bucks to get their negative reviews removed! I read the real yelp reviews before I visited the venue but wanted to look past them and see it for myself. I drive by Meadow Vista Gardens several time a a month on my way up to my parents and loved the idea of getting married there. The venue definitely doesn't look like the pictures anymore, sadly. The property hasn't been well maintained for a while. There is so much potential, but the gardens and grounds have not been kept well. I found the bushes oddly hacked back and a lot of what should have been green was brown. We met with Andy, the owner. My mom connected with him over the phone and really liked him. In-person, I felt like I was being sold by a cheesy sales person. My spider senses were going off big time saying "this guy is a swindler". After we toured the venue, we started talking prices. He was already changing the prices he had told my mother on the phone. To be fair, I didn't actually have my wedding here. That's because my gut was telling me not to do business with Andy. He charges a premium for what you get. He changed the name of his venue a few years ago and there are some pretty disturbing reviews under the old name. I ended up having my wedding at Newcastle Wedding Gardens and it was incredible!

0 stars. It was all a show at first. When we first sat down with Andy I think I was blinded by being excited to plan a wedding. But once we booked our venue with him and gave him 50% cash upfront. Everything changed. After very heated conversations over the phone and him never remembering what we agreed on. I had to let him know that I would only communicate through email that way everything was written out and I had proof. At first I really did wish that I could get a refund and not have my wedding dealing with Andy throughout the process. But then he hired an event coordinator name is Sara. And she was by far the best thing that Meadow Vista Gardens could have had. Although I did most of my planning and negotiating through her. She was let go about four weeks before my wedding and Andy did not let me know that he was going to be taking over. I showed up for my rehearsal two days before my wedding and that is when I found out that she had been let go and would no longer be in Assistance at my wedding on my wedding day. After a very nervous conversation with Andy he tried to swindle more money out of me. In order for him to be there in replace of her. Although I I had agreement with Sarah that I was paying her event coordinator day fee in order to not have to deal with Andy at all because of how rude he was to me previously. On the day of my wedding there were several things that were supposed to be done that fell on me and the people I had there to help me. Such as:-chairs should have been set up, -tables should have been set up, -The kitchen was supposed to be cleaned out and ready for use(my wedding planner had to clean it and move everything out of it so that my caterer couldn't even step inside)-the bar should've been cleaned (it was disgusting), -The bar linen should have been re draped and cleaned(they were stained it and you're not hang properly), -debris should've been cleaned up at the bar as well(apparently the bar was storage for fertilizer and cleaners will not rent it out) , which my wedding planner personally had to box up for Andy and put away, the grass should have been re-seeded in patchy areas, -I personally had to help Andy move a very unstable heavy arbor before I was able to get ready. And of course this was all discussed before the day of obviously that was already supposed to be done.-at the end of the night we were in charge of cleanup which was fine the people I had there to help knew that and cleaned up very well. But they did not appreciate Andy hovering and telling them what to do and directing them want to clean. So if you're looking to book Meadow Vista Gardens for any event I would reconsider. Andy is extremely stressful to communicate to clearly. Seriously my advice is do not do it. Beware!!!!!! This was my experience and after talking to other brides that have had their weddings here as well it sounds like it's very consistent behavior. Any company that has to change their name because they have too many bad reviews should definitely make changes when they change their name.

I got the opportunity to DJ a wedding here a couple weeks back, and everything ran perfect. The venue is stunning and Andy is kind and courteous. I can't wait to get the opportunity to DJ here again!

I was recently involved in a wedding that was held at this venue. The ambience was sweet and beautiful. To my surprise, the outside area, was able to seat a large amount of people. I believe we had around 180-200 people. The bridal suite they have down stairs is where the bride and bridesmaids got ready. Mirrors on almost every wall, which as a female, was a plus. No one wants to share a mirror when you're getting ready for a big day! Besides us there were about 10 people and we still fit comfortable. The owners were very open with the brides ideas, as far as decorations and set up. Overall, would recommend this place to anyone.

GET YOURSELF A CONTRACT LAWYER!First of all, go to yelp and type in "The Beda Place," you will find the real reviews of this place there as they changed their name but are still owned by the same people. Andy calls himself the "Yes Man," and puts on this facade that he is easy going and works with you... this is only true if you have a big check book. Our first meeting with him he seemed so kind, that QUICKLY changed once we paid him. I got married here in October, 2016. I can write a NOVEL on all the horrible things Andy did, all the tears he made me shed, and all the unnecessary stress he added to the wedding planning process. This man only cares about money and nothing else. Make sure you record every single time you talk face-to-face or get EVERYTHING in writing, as he will say one thing and do another. We paid for things that he did not provide on the day of the wedding (hence a contract lawyer), he harassed my mother, and every single professional I had the day of my wedding (photographer, make up artists, hair stylist, etc) complained how unprofessional he was an how unwelcome he made them feel.He charged me $300 for a beverage bar that included coffee, creamer, sugar, lemonade, ice tea, and soda. On the day of my wedding he put out water and lemonade.... He also charged us for all the tables when it states in his contract that the tables are included in the site fee. When we brought this to his attention during a meeting, his sweet wife said "Honey, all your tables are included in the site fee" he put his hand up and told his wife to "be quiet." He required I pay the ENTIRE site fee up front, although his contract states only half is due up front to secure the date. Then when I was fed up with him and his business practices I tried to back out and requested my deposit back and he told me I don't get any money back if I choose to cancel. TAKE PICTURES. It is unfortunate that before I left my wedding I had to run around and have my wedding party and myself take pictures of the cleaned up facility as he charged us a "refundable $500 deposit" even though we also had to pay for a million dollar insurance policy. We had to take pictures to ensure he returned the $500 to us, as we know parties (you will see reviews on the other yelp site) did not have their money returned. Andy will do anything to get money from you. We paid him $22.5/hr for the staff he require we hire through him, and he only paid them 12/hr.A week before our wedding Andy had the nerve to tell us that the lights around his trees were not working and that, "You and your team can figure it out." As if it is my job to maintain his facility (Again, get yourself a contract lawyer.) Andy is dishonest, money hungry, deceitful, and will cause you more stress than necessary if you don't do an all inclusive package through him. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.

I've attended many events, weddings, business meetings, etc. at this great venue and it's one of the best in town! Not only a great outdoor setting, but a beautiful room full of great views and an all wood (dance) floor. The staff is superb and I would highly recommend them for any event. I'm told they now have an all-inclusive wedding package for less than 100.00 a person. That's less than some venues charge for just the food! Check it out. You'll see for yourself.

I'm very excited for our upcoming March of Dimes event to be held here in March. The new look and feel to the place has really made it come to life. It's under new management and she is really easy to work with.
