PROS:Found a deal on living socialFree parkingStay open lateLet us skip the long line because we had the living social voucher CONS:Extremely short in staff members (a maze we went in had ONE actor)Actors/actresses need more training 3D movie was NOT scary at all - total waste of our timeOut of the 5 houses, the only one that actually had some excitement was the Doll Factory. Would not go back next year. The haunted houses in Roseville were wayyyy better.

This is the worst haunting house attraction ever, ever!!!!!!!!!! Avoid at all cost and save your money and scares to somewhere else. there were too many kid actors that didn't take their job seriously (I mean who would when the sets were so cheaply put togehter). I caught several of them chatting instead of scaring people. When we walked through the Blackout attraction, we litterally walked through there in the dark without anyone trying to scare us.OMG my friends and I were so mad. this place deserves no stars!!!!!!

Fright planet was a waste of money. Way to expensive for what you get. The lines were horribly long and there were very few frights. Although some of the haunted house had some cool designs to them, the acting was ridiculiously poor. Most looked like high school actors. Did not seem very professional at all. The 3D movie..... what a joke.... almost everyone walked out after about 5 minutes. the whole thing is really poorly done. Really no need for the huge amount of lines you have to wait in. The only thing I am grateful for is that we only paid half price thanks to groupon... still not worth it at all. I would go to the haunt at Great American if you are really looking for a fun time.Don't waste your time here!

Seriously? I could have put on a better production than this excuse for a haunted house.1) Too many high school kids. Yeah, it's uncontrollable... but seriously. Too many unnecessary screams at things that aren't surprising/scary. You're annoying!2) Bad actors. There were a LOT of people not in character. There were a few who really tried to scare us (I appreciate your passion!), but others were just STUPID. "Scurvy Island" 's haunted house characters were TALKING to each other as we were walking through. You know, not even paying attention to scaring us! REALLY!? DO YOUR JOB! 3) Long lines. Thirty minutes to get through security. Fifteen minutes to get up to the ticket window. Fifteen minutes (for most) of haunted houses. Wear comfortable shoes.4) Expensive prices. Thank goodness for groupon/deal chicken deals. 19 dollars? Their 3-D movie was also down too, when we went.5) Haunted SHACK, not house. These things were tiny, and badly ventilated. 6) Don't even f'ing touch me. Okay, yeah get in my face and scare me.... but the second you touch me with your dirty hands, earrings are coming off. Just kidding, I'm all talk. Hehe just kidding again. 7) Where the hell was this place? When I think "Cal Expo", I think of the fair entrance. yeah.. definitely NOT the fair entrance. It's at gate #9, so make sure you go a bit further. However, it's nice that parking is free. Two stars for the claustrophobic and clown haunted house.. those were the only good ones.Um... try going drunk or under some kind of influence. Maybe you'd deem it 3 stars instead of 2.

Worse haunted house attraction I've EVER been to and I have been to tons!!!! This place is very low budget, poor actors, and their "3D movie" is a joke (wasn't 3D and reminded me of a computer game from the 90's). Thank god I bought my tickets at a discount through livingsocial.... Don't waste your money here! This place deserves ZERO stars.

As someone who loves Halloween and haunted attractions, take it from me, Fright Planet is among the best! I usually attend multiple haunted houses every year and after visiting Fright Planet, I will definitely return next Halloween. Some of the best effects and props I have ever seen. The actors also really get into their roles and do a wonderful job. They were even able to startle me a couple times which is very rare. The decorations were also impressive and the sets were of very high quality. if you consider yourself a haunted attraction aficionado, you haven't seen anything til you've seen FrightPlanet But also, do not bring small, small children to this, i guarantee that it will be far too intense for them.

In my personal opinion it wasn't scary at all but it was very entertaining specially if you go with someone that find it scary.... I was expecting way more and at least to be scared once but they didn't deliver

Seriously, the scariest thing about this haunt was the security line to get in and the price. Took an hour and a half to get through the security line(one guy and one metal detector). We paid the extra money for VIP tickets, thinking we would need them; didn't want to wait in 5 more long lines for each haunt. The reality was that once inside there really weren't huge lines, a couple haunts did have small lines, but probably would not have taken that long. We were done with all FIVE haunts in less than 30 minutes. I think rather than advertising 5 huge haunts, they should tell the truth, 5 small haunts and potentially 5 more lines (if they had been busier). Nothing really scary in any if them, a waste of money!

First time going here...was supposed to be open by 7 but they didn't let people in until 7:15 and there was a long line. Then we had to go through a metal detector and wait in another line to buy tickets. You buy a haunted house package with some being in 3D but then you have to pay for the 3D glasses separately! How stupid. Then one of the haunted attractions wasn't even open yet despite having an already late opening. The actors were mediocre and there were hardly any in the attractions. Save your money and go to callson manor for scares instead

Fright planet was a total JOKE this year. The actors didn't stay in character. I could hear them talking to each other when i was walking up, multiple times. I didn't get scared at all. It was a waste of money and I can say i will not go back.I do not recommend it.
