Mather Heights Elementary School

Great School. Both my kids attending school here for their entire elementary school years. The school is well organized with plenty of activities for the kids to participate in. Staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this School for your children.

My boys have been attending this school since kindergarten and my oldest has moved on to middle school. Most of the teachers are amazing. The kids that attend are great. My boys have found an amazing group of friends through their school. One of the biggest reasons we have stayed in this neighborhood is the school and the kids.

My daughter has been attending Mather Heights Elementary School since 2009. The school as a whole has been very good and she has done quite well. The one and only thing I have a complaint about is the staff. The receptionist/front desk person has an atrocious attitude to parents and more importantly to children. The school as a whole deserves a 5 star, but if I have to interact with this woman regularly it would definitely get a rating of 0-1 stars. I picked my daughter up one day from school and she said that the receptionist/front desk spoke to her in a way that was absolutely uncalled for. If I wasn't a Christian and decent human being I would've escalated this further. This is my daughter's last year at Mather Heights Elementary School and it's not worth my time.

My children have been attending Mather Heights for the past few years. Overall, we have been very happy with the school. Great teachers and staff. The receptionist that was mentioned in a previous review is no longer at the school. The new staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the unprofessional way that students are chosen for the Academy program. It is supposed to be for students that need an accelerated learning program. Unfortunately, it is partly based on who you know(but of course this will be denied) and those that live out of the area are given priority so that school can receive more money.

All 4 of my kids have gone here since 2015. Absolutely love it!!!! Teachers and entire staff are so caring and communication is too notch!

There's a kindergarten teacher she's the worst my kid hated her and calls her the sad face all the time she has no emotions whatsoever very stoic and extremely dry and detached, Mather heights should do better by hiring fun and bubbly experienced teachers for kindergarteners I know the rest of the kindergarten teachers are awesome except for one but I hope they can do better so a child doesn't have to come home and complain

My children continue to thrive, and I'm thankful for the diligent work of the teachers. They have a new principal and secretary, who are both very professional and kid-centered. Even though we're four months into the school year, I still see the principal greeting children at recess and being closely involved with helping students learn to problem solve conflicts with others. Keep up the great work!
