Here my 2 cents on the quality quantity and price of the product.. It was delivered by Grubhub in a timely matter... The driver did not follow proper instructions to get here quicker on time to my location..I order six different dumplings and buns so I could have a choice ..Depending upon your taste buds, you just have to experiment to see which one are actually very good for you .I thought the pricing was getting to be more expensive than necessary ..Overall, just your average type of Chinese food.

The restaurant is operating out of a shared kitchen that shares the space with a bunch of other restaurants. There are tons of homeless people around the restaurant, so definitely lock your car.Haven't got the food yet, but we're leaving two stars because the wait is crazy long. We've been sitting in the parking lot for 50 minutes waiting for our food.

Look. I feel super terrible for having to leaving a review. I ordered food through the Sactown Eats website. It showed delivery variable for a FUTURE delivery. I set it for after 12:15PM-12:30PM. I ordered this just before 10:30AM since my wife had meetings and I had work to do before I headed over to her office. DoorDash dispatched someone way before and I got an email that they were already working on our lunch order. I called the restaurant and they said that DoorDash told them a driver was heading there to pick up the food so they started on the food early. I confirmed with them that they saw the after 12:15pm pickup request but still made the food and the DoorDasher still delivered the food. Of course it was a Dasher that could barely communicate with me who was asking me to re-explain the directions that were already input into the delivery instructions. They proceeded to curse "God D(*()*it" over the phone because they were unable to understand my directions. This is the second time I've ordered from the SacTown Eats "Ghost" kitchen and yet another Dasher that couldn't read the instructions. I know everyone's just trying to make a living but come one. Now we've got to munch on cold food because DoorDash circumvented any ability to give us a partial refund because they had the restaurant make food early in time for the dasher to pick it up. Just a warning. Don't pre-order food ever from these restaurants. You'll most likely get your delivery at the completely wrong time. I felt bad and didn't call the restaurant because it really isn't their fault. They apparently can't make the DoorDasher wait until the appropriate time. I'm still excited for the lunch and food but I'm highly disappointed in the delivery service chosen. Next time I'll just pick it up since my office is around the corner. DoorDash I hope you improve your hustle. Owners. Beware.

First time going to Sacramento Eats after looking for good dim sum. The place is located in a sketchy area and is strictly takeout and not a traditional restaurant with indoor dining. Instead multiple restaurants share a centralized kitchen facility. You order via a kiosk and wait until the food is ready. The wait was about 20 minutes. Everything tasted amazing and is probably the best takeout dim sum I've had in Sacramento. I definitely will consider coming back.

I was craving dim sum one morning but wasn't in the mood to go to a sit-down restaurant, so I was extremely lucky that Master Yue's Tea Palace offers to-go! In fact, they only offer pickup or delivery orders. I opted for pick-up, which was at Sactown Eats. The surrounding area was a little rough but I didn't feel unsafe when picking up my order. I loved that they had a good variety of dim sum, but I opted for some of the classics: Har Gow - perfect texture with a generous amount of shrimp Siu Mai - just straight-up deliciousness! BBQ Pork Bun - I believe they make their dough from scratch as well. I wish I can explain it better, but there's a certain texture and sour aftertaste that's nostalgic for me. Maybe it's how the yeast reacted to the warm climate back home? Idk. I've enjoyed many pork buns here in the US, but it's been a while when I had that taste that brought me back to my childhood. The filling is generous and I like that they don't use food coloring for their pork. Shanghai soup dumpling - it didn't seem to have much broth inside, but that's a common issue with takeout soup dumplings. It was still tasty! I thought the wrapper was a little too thick, but my husband liked it because it added to the texture. Custard buns - accidentally ordered this instead of the lava buns, but hey, I'm not complaining! The custard wasn't too sweet, so i had no problems eating all 3 (apologies to my husband lol) Sesame balls - they look perfect! The texture was great and I loved the chewiness. The red bean filling, however, wasn't sweet at all, so that threw me off. I've never had them unsweetened, so I'm not sure if it's a regional style or the business' decision. It was still enjoyable though! Their prices weren't bad, with each dish ranging from $5.88 to $7.25. I also love that they're open every day from 9am-9pm. This is going to be very dangerous for me since I live so close by. I might make this my weekend breakfast habit!

Coming from the 626/SGV, I've eaten dim sum plenty of times (think huge dim sum restaurant that's packed every Sunday morning with people pushing carts full of food). I was excited to try Master Yue's since it's new and I've gone through nearly every dim sum restaurant in the surrounding area.Overall, I felt the flavors were a little lacking on some items.Mushroom & Veggie Dumpling: The wrapper is different from your typical dumpling. It's almost chewier. The fillings were definitely light in terms of flavor.Siu Mai: The wrapper didn't really stick to the meat, so it would just flake off when I picked it up. The flavor was also pretty lackluster compared to others.Spare ribs with Garlic: Flavors were on point, but they gave so little compared to other places.Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf: this was probably my favorite out of everything, as it tasted pretty traditional.

We decided to try this place despite it being fairly new, and I am so glad we did. The shrimp dumpling and siu mai are both so flavorful and fresh, but I must say the steamed bbq pork buns are my favorite. The sticky rice in lotus leaf and paper wrapped chicken were foods we've never tried before, but they're actually very tasty. I am excited to try other items in their menu. I definitely recommend this place.*ordered through Doordash

Food: I ordered through uber eats, I ordered shrimp and pork siu mai, shrimp dumplings, pork soup dumplings, and chicken potstickers. All and all, the taste of the food was good! I specifically enjoyed the foil wrapped chicken they added for free!It had some herbs and veggies that tasted amazing. Size of the dumplings were decent too. I feel full just from eating the chicken potstickers and siu mai. Now, it could be just me. The soup dumpling didn't have a lot of broth, but that could also be from it being delivered. I definitely would be interested in going to try them fresh.Overall I'm glad I took a shot on this place. I forgot to get a picture of the shrimp dumplings.

Didn't know what to expect from a new restaurant featured on doordash with no reviews on Yelp, but I was pleasantly surprised! Greatly appreciated the combo which had two of my favs (siu mai, har gow) and two that I wouldn't usually order (lotus wrap, pork bun) ALL were delicious! Didn't need any sauce but I love hot chili oil and soy sauce so a meager drip went a long way.Definitely would eat again, either via delivery or visiting the new Sactown Eats locations!

I really don't understand the bad reviews for this place! Yes, it's a shared kitchen and yes, obviously homeless people roam around downtown Sacramento... What do you expect? It's literally downtown Sacramento... Lol. This is not about the location, this is about the food! The food is actually super good. I ordered the braised pork rice bowl, which has pickled daikon, carrot, cucumber and onion in it. Everything has so much flavor, including the rice! The price is fair for braised pork. It is very filling and absolutely delicious. I'm so happy that I took a chance on this place, and I will definitely be ordering from them more often. :)
