This was another of my favorites. The pork belly was sticky sweet and the pickled onions cut it perfectly.

Mas Tacos, in Folsom's Palladio, has been on my radar for awhile. The first time I tried dining here, we were told it would be over a hour wait to seat 2. So we passed. This place is wickedly popular. Finally I got a chance again on a recent Sunday for an early dinner. I was with a large group of 17. We called a few hours ahead to set up a reservation which we secured. Right when you step in, it's the bar area. Impressive top shelf liquor display that takes up nearly the entire wall. They have indoor and outdoor seating. TVs throughout that are tuned into sports. The outdoor seating is covered and enclosed reminding me of a green room. There was a fireplace that gave off a lot of heat. The vibe is family friendly. Onto the food.., Chips n Salsa. $4.25. The chips were fried tortillas... aka tostada shells. Street sized taco tortilla. The order comes with two salsas, red and green salsa verde. Not sure if they were fresh house made but sure looked and tasted like it. Delicious Drunken chicken taco. $3.95. I don't know how they got the chicken drunk. But it was delicious. Moist, seasoned, flavorful pieces of chicken. The tacos were priced around $5. Short rib taco. $4.45. I got unlucky with the short rib meat. In my taco, the meat was mostly fat. Big, globby pieces that had the same coloring of the cooked short rib. But the others in my party didn't have that issue. They got hefty gorgeous looking pieces of short rib. I swiped a piece from one of their tacos. Mmm... it was delicious. Tender, soft with a fantastic rich deep meaty flavor. Posole. $7.50. It was a bland tasting even with a squeeze of lime. It did look beautiful though. Bright, fresh colors. And it was presented well. Our waiter took our order while various other staff delivered the food. When we asked for extra plates and drink refills from the various staff other than our waiter, we never got them. We asked for extra plates since they batched a bunch of taco orders onto one plate. Our waiter was handling a bunch of other tables as well. He was great. But obviously stretched thin. He could have benefited with more support from the other staff.

We sat at the bar on a Thursday evening. Max is the best bartender from Hawaii. He takes good care of everyone with a smile and manages the bar with ease . The watermelon basil specialty margarita comes with a sweet sugar rim - strong watermelon, not as strong tequila. Tacos are delicious and service is quick. We tried the blackened salmon with spicy mayo and pork belly with pickled red pinions - both were good . Shrimp ceviche appetizer with round corn tostada chips is simple and delicious! Happy hour pricing is 50% off appetizers, $1 off tacos and $2 off margaritas. Try the happy meal special!!

I haven't been for a while and it looks like they changed the menu. No more impossible and now offering oyster mushrooms and potato tacos (and bowl option). Excellent service, cute patio and food for everyone. Just wish they had 1 more veggie option. Don't forget to order the guac sans cojita cheese. Chips and salsa a much! Don't forget the margs!

We met some good friends for Happy Hour / Taco Tuesday in February 2024. We've been her many times before. The margaritas were on point and after a couple I had a good buzz. The appetizers were savory. I only had room for 2 tacos and they were great. Will be back for sure.

I've visited the midtown Sacramento location several times and had a great service. I was in the Folsom area and decided to check this place out. I came with a large group. One thing that Mas Taco Bar is known for is there margaritas. I ordered a Mezcal Margarita and sadly it didn't meet my expectations. I didn't even finish it. There's a big difference between this location and the one in Sacramento. I typically order at least 2 but this location I only ordered one. (Took 2 Stars off because that is one of the main reasons why I come here) The appetizers were good. Got Chips with guac, salsa, and the corn dish. This was consistent with the Sacramento location. The highlight of the show though is the Breakfast Pupusa. I never came here for brunch before and the waiter recommended this dish. This comes with scrambled egg, cotija cheese, slow roasted pork, cilantro, onions, roasted tomato salsa. This tasted amazing! Would highly recommend if coming brunch. The service was in the middle, I had to wave down the server a couple of times, and they weren't even busy. Overall this place is okay, I rather go to the midtown location in Sacramento, but I'm willing to give this place another shot.

Wow! This particular Mas Taco location in Folsom blew me out of the water. I love all Mas Taco locations but this one is definitely the winner. Their potion sizes on the taco fillings were stupendous and the cook and flavor of everything was especially spot on. I got the baja fish taco and the fish was perfectly cooked and tender. I also got the secret taco with beef and cotija cheese and pickled onions and it was one of my favorite tacos i've ever had! Don't underestimate the secret taco. I also had the banh mi shrimp taco which was delisious as always and the crispy Thai beef taco which was probably my least favorite but still sooo good. My friend also let me try her mas fries and they were very good texture and flavor and totally loaded with beef, peppers and other yummy toppings. They did forget the crema that goes on top but that was easily remedied. The ambiance was wonderful and they had booth seating which is my favorite! The service was also very good:)I wish this mas taco was closer to my house so I could go again very soon;)

Mas Taco has been a staple in the Sacramento food scene for a while now and for good reason! Their unique tacos, yummy appetizers, and delicious drinks will get you hooked. Seating & Service: Mas Taco locations have indoor and outdoor seating which are both comfortable. Service is usually fast, but have had 2 times where the wait for food was distinctly long. Recent visits have been better! Food: The menu rotates (does have staples) so if you've got a favorite make sure to get it! Some favorites include: Korean Fried Chicken Taco, Battered Fish Taco, and the Churro Sundae Tip: get the grilled corn on the cob in a bowl!Overall: 4/5 and has got everything for a date night to a fun family lunch!

Tried a number of tacos some were good some were alright. The Battered Fish taco tho is a wild card with the fish. It's such a small portion of fish. Braised short rib tacos 2/5. Was lacking some flavor. Butter chicken naan taco was goood if u like chicken. Al pastor was alright. A little sweet with the canned pineapple but its good.
