Mario's Early Toast

Love this new spot. FOOD was fantastic! Group ordered green enchiladas with chile verde and eggs and it was fabulous, table favorite, also for the breakfast tacos, crepes, GF waffle was great and homemade tortilla chips were delicious, last was the power fruit bowl which was fresh and yummy. GF options are awesome and taste great! Menu is amazing! Service was excellent on a busy morning! Our waiter was Tony, he was super friendly and attentive. Owner, Mario walked around and greeted some tables, love that! Thankful for this new spot in EDH!

We got to try our new El Dorado Hills Early Toast recently for the first time. Elena was our server and she was wonderful, lots of tips and very helpful and honest. The place looks AMAZING - so beautiful, fresh and clean. So much more open and friendly than the old Mexico Lindo. We were lucky to be there when it wasn't too crowded - which turned out good because we had to sample several booths before we found one that worked. The benches were super hard and lumpy and my husband was down so low that he had a hard time reaching the table. We found one in the back that had a chair/booth combo that seemed to work well. There are tons of options on the menu for virtually every kind of breakfast/brunch fan, including multiple avocado toasts. I got the Visconti's without the cheese - it was huge, two slices of bread and two eggs. It was fine, but the bread needed to be toasted a little more. My husband got the steak and eggs which came with mushrooms and onions on top. He liked it ok but thought he might skip the sauce next time and just stick with A1.Overall we loved the service and the atmosphere. The prices are high, not out of line with other similar places in our neighborhood. Just not quite 5 stars yet for us.

Great variety on the menu, there truly is something for EVERYONE. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, eggs, healthy options, a gluten free portion of the menu too. Big space with lots of tables. Unfortunately singing a star for very slow service. Took about 45 minutes from ordering food to receive it. All in all, food tasted great and we will be back!

I enjoy dining at the Mario's Early Toast (MET) in Folsom. So when I heard that they opened a new location in El Dorado Hills, I wanted to check it out. Today was the day. The wait was quoted to be 10 minutes but was 18. Not bad at all. But unfortunately they sat us at the booth in front of the open kitchen counter where the servers pick up the food orders. With a full house of customers, it was so LOUD. I couldn't hear the person across the table from me. I could however hear the kitchen staffs order/conversations, the clanging of kitchenware, the servers shouting to the kitchen staff and vice versa, and the servers conversations amongst themselves. And add the noise from the adjoining booths conversations... yikes it was noisy. Since it was a full house, there were no other available tables without waiting again. So we stuck it out. But by golly, they need to reconsider seating folks at that table. Or at least warn them. I would have been fine to skip that table and wait a bit longer for another.I ordered my favorite MET "dessert-ish" breakfast, the Maui french toast. It was delicious. Caramelized bananas, chopped nuts, shredded coconut and drizzled caramel sauce over vanilla battered French toast. But by the time I got my food, I had a massive headache from all the loud noises and not feeling it to enjoy my meal. Hubs ordered a cheeseburger and asked for it to be well done. The patty wasn't cooked well though, it came out pinkish. Considering this location is new, I'm sure the kitchen crew will find its groove. Our server, Antonio, was top notch.

12/22/24Excited for a new brunch place to open closer to home. We arrived at approximately 9:15am and thought we were part of the early crowd but was wrong, this place was crowded and popping! They finally checked us in at 9:23 and said it was a 5 min wait. It was slightly over but understandable.We were finally seated and menu were on the table.We ordered a little of everything.Country fried steak combo for my oldest with extra crispy hashbrowns which came out not crispy.Hubs ordered Loco Moco and flavor was on point however rice has some grains that were hard in texture.Youngest son ordered toasties - good but sweet.i had the Mexican skillet and also asked for crispy house potatoes however it didn't come out crispy at all. Justice was our server and was great. Attentive and checked in to ensure all was well. I like the remodel decor from the prior establishment. Ample parking available in the Sienna Ridge plaza.Mario's just opened Tuesday so not a full week yet but I see the establishment is probably one that will be around. Until next time.

One of the best restaurants in EDH! The owner Mario is such an amazing person and we are so blessed that he has decided to open one of his awesome restaurants here in El Dorado Hills. The food is always so delicious and fresh and the service and staff are always friendly and ready to serve. The restaurant is perfectly decorated with elegance and a welcoming vibe! We love it here and will always come have brunch after church every Sunday! Thank you Mario and staff

It's the ambiance...no, it's the food...the presentation, maybe? Ahh, though this place is a drive, we will have to visit again. It's worth the trek.

New location! Came with others who have frequented other Early Toast locations and noted that it was overall comparable. Service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Chilaquiles Del Chef is on the less crunchy side as the tortilla chips are covered very thoroughly. My personal preference is to have more crunch, but otherwise it was still delicious overall! Del Chef comes with carne asada topping which was very tender. I also love the presentation on the mickey mouse pancakes from the kids menu. Vanilla latte was simple, served in a large wide mug. It was a full house on a Monday morning around 10am, though most are likely off since it was Christmas-NYE week. Parking lot has plenty of easy parking since it's located in a plaza with Safeway and other businesses. Will likely be back when visiting the area!
