Literally been coming here for years, Feels like you're at your aunts house. The staff is incredibly nice and the food is always to die for my all-time favorite is the borrego. I come here at least once a week and I always get their salsa Molcajete, you have to ask them for that one lol but hands-down, one of my favorite restaurants ever!!!

We went on a Sunday , ordered the barbacoa , it was cold at the very bottom. I can see why they've been given some bad reports. Unless they change I won't be going back. Don't want to get sick. Service is meh., the ladies can be a bit more attentive.

Hidden gem. Tasty barbacoa and handmade fresh corn tortillas. We ordered by the pound and the meat was lean but still super moist. Definitely worth checking out!

OMG--I seriously can't stop smiling about the lunch I just had at Marina's. Initially, the homemade corn tortillas brought me here, but I am happy to report that the food is just as amazing. For lunch, I opted for the Chile Colorado with rice and beans. I would like to start with how tender the pork was. How long was this meat cooked? How did it manage to stay so tender and not fall apart until I decided it was time? Oh, and the tomato based sauce that the pork was swimming in? Heavenly! The aforementioned corn tortillas were a perfect companion to the Chile Colorado. I hate to admit it, but Marina's version of this dish might even be better than my late Grandmother's (May she rest in peace). My wife opted for two a la carte menu items, and she devoured them in record time. The first to arrive was the chicken flautas. Now these bad boys aren't the frozen variety that you can find at Costco -these flautas are the real deal. Hand-rolled and fried to perfection, the chicken inside managed to stay tender and juicy. The next a la carte item to show up was the cheese quesadilla, and I was a huge fan of the simplicity. I am ol' school when it comes to my quesadilla -I don't need any exotic cheeses or fancy accompaniments. Just fill up a flour tortilla with some Monterey Jack cheese, and I am good. The rice was flavorful, and the beans had a nice texture to them (not too runny or pasty). My lunch today was one of the best meals that I have enjoyed in a long time. The place is small, and the wait time can be substantial given the limited staff. I would recommend calling your order in about 20 minutes ahead of time if you only have an hour lunch break. I hope this review will convince at least one person to give this place a try. This family owned and operated business deserves the support of the community. You can expect delicious, homemade, authentic Mexican food at affordable prices. I plan on coming back on a weekly basis to sample some more of their tasty creations. I hope to see you there!

The 1 lb barbacoa was a little flimsy - well under a lb, did not come with tortillas or much else - but it was perfectly cooked and garlicky. The more pedestrian dishes that my wife and kids had did not disappoint. Very nice people, too, and not expensive. I'll be back.

If your looking for authentic mexican food and want birria this is your spot. This ain't no fake wanna be mexican restaurant this is real. Lol I was skeptical from the looks of the neighborhood and also their sign Outside that says Barbacoa de borrego (sheep) also Birria de Chivo (goat) y res (beef). I'm glad I walked in because the food is amazing ;)!!!! If your not 100%mexican then you should stick to Birria de res which is beef. you may be turned off by the texture and looks of the borrego( sheep) or chivo( goat) just play it safe stick to beef. If you had it before then go for it :) the order comes with 4 handmade tortillas which was just a teaser due to being so mexi I can eat 10 of those. which I did I pay extra for.I'm glad I have a spot to come to on Sundays good food and cold beer for my cruda aka hangover what more can i ask for;) with this cold weather ahead of us it makes it so much more yummy. My kids loved the free chips they bring you while you wait for your order. The chips came with refried beans and cheese. make sure if you don't like cheese to let them know when you place your order.my kids also had some carne asada tacos. They were also good. This place just felt like I was back home (Jalisco) also like I was eating at my house haha theirs not waiters or waitresses they will bring you your food and drinks you get up and get your own salsa etc. if you want more tortillas you have to ask them and pay extra because they won't read your mind. Just taught I ad all this so you an know what to expect. Enjoy:)

Place doesnt have much to be exited about, as mention before surrounded of mexican restaurant this one has a hard time to stand out, it was thou til one day ages ago i was craving barbacoa (pulled sheep meat) and lacking a good place to find it, i decided to try the location. Besides barbacoa, some say that menudo its decent, other than that expect your average mexican kitchen style food, it does have a variety of food, as i said i can only judge the barbacoa, avoid panza (well dont avoid it but dont expect anything else than chorizo)Call them ahead if you are taking out, maybe 15mtns or so, girls do take a lot to serve, ive never seen them offering chips while on the wait as nancy said, so thats either not valid or its an inconsistency. Do try the place, thou. It will meet your needs of mexican food without hesitation however dont expect to be wowed!
