Marie's Donuts is a true Sacramento gem! If you're on the hunt for fresh, classic, and utterly delicious donuts, look no further. This place delivers on all fronts.The glazed donuts are perfection: soft, fluffy, and with just the right amount of sweetness. The maple bars and blueberry donuts are personal favorites!!Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and the service is always friendly and efficient, even when there's a line (which there often is, especially in the mornings). That just shows how beloved this spot is by locals!

Charming and tasty! FOOD: You can always count on Marie's donuts to be consistently tasty. I am a glazed donut girl. They are always perfectly sweet, a little crispy on the top and soft in the middle! Each donut is a nice size as well. SERVICE: Everyone is always nice and quick. They do have a $5 minimum if you are paying with card. AMBIANCE: This is 100% a take out location. There is usually a small line that moves fast! KID FRIENDLY: Oh yes! The kids love donuts. However, be mindful of traffic if you are going to wait in line with your kids. The location is close to a busy street and you have to wait outside. OVERALL, will I be back? Oh yes, this is a Sacramento staple!!

Seems to always be open & simply the best donuts in Sacramento. I highly recommend the bear claw & buttermilk bar. Downside: there's no parking, but worth it!

2025, a new year for our favorite donut shop, Marie's Donuts. Reliable, delicious, ever present, Marie's Donuts sweetens our world and helps strengthen our resolve to resist the forces of evil. Yum.

Hands down one of the best local donut shops in Sacramento! The price is nice, the donuts are fresh - which is a very big deal for me - and the staff is so friendly! Last visit I got a bakers dozen, staff choice and they provided a great selection for me. Highly recommend!

Although their donuts/menu is pretty standard and nothing stands out too much, the appeal to this place is they've been serving Sacramento for decades, have a very aesthetic outside, and also are open very late everyday. There is limited free parking in the small, private lot but you could try street parking in the nearby neighborhood. This is a walk-up establishment where you grab your food and go, so no seating and no bathroom available. The donuts were pretty standard and they had all the classic flavors from glazed to custard filled. Overall, a great place to quickly grab some consistently good and classic donuts.

Marie's Donuts on Freeport Blvd is a donut shoppe that has all the classics. If you're looking for a place to get your traditional donut done correctly just the way you remember, then this is it!When you go to Marie's Donuts you'll find a beautiful old school building with vibes from yesteryear. To order, you walk up to the window and select the donuts you want. There isn't an indoor seating area here, so just keep that in mind.The service is great and friendly. It was also quick! I can imagine this place being very popular in the morning and orders need to be fulfilled in the fastest way possible.In terms of donuts, this place has the kind you remember fondly. They don't try to do anything crazy or over-the-top. These donuts are delicious and perfect in their simplicity. And really that's all you need!

Old school donut shop with walk up window. Always a lot of people but the line moves quickly. My donut was good and my husband's and daughters as well. I recommend the raspberry jelly filled over my chocolate bar.

Love a late night sweet treat and they always have fresh donuts to satisfy my sweet tooth.
