Marie's Donuts

Best doughnuts in Sacramento. I grew up right down the street and could smell droughts cooking every night. We used to go down around 3am for the hottest glazed doughnuts. Service was and is great, friendly happy people.

Such great donuts at Marie's. Service was quick and staff was friendly. There were many great options to choose from and they didn't disappoint. Quite a few people stopped by when I was in so it's good to get in early but it looked as if they were cranking out donuts so their customers wouldn't miss out. I would definitely stop by again. Go ahead and give them a try!

This donut shop has been around for a long time and has retained a classic feel. All the classic donuts are here, and some have fun and crazy modifications to them.Rather than a case of donuts in the front, you select the donuts that you see behind the cashier. If you have any questions about them, I found the staff to be very helpful and informative. I was especially curious about some of their old fashioned donut varieties. I'd never seen a yellow covered old fashioned before.It turns out that the yellow old fashioned is lemon flavored! In fact, they also have vanilla as well as the traditional chocolate, maple, and glazed.An outstanding donut from Marie's has to be their non-dairy cream filled donuts. There is an enormous amount of cream in them. These donuts look as good as they taste and are a cream lover's dream.My only slight qualm about my visit to Marie's Donuts was that they didn't seem to have any French crullers when I was there. It makes me wonder if they just don't have that type or if they were sold out that day.Things that make you go hnmmmmmm....

A donut shop with history! You sense this donut shop has been part of the community for a long time. The building tells you that you've stepped into an establishment from the past brought here for us to continue to enjoy. Some of the staff are old timers; with lots of stories to share, which I find enjoyable. The donuts are wonderful as well. This shop offers lots of donuts that are no longer at the forefront of other donut establishments like custard filled glazed, or a boston cream with chocolate glaze. I tried them both, and loved the freshness and flavor. I was happy to see the front case filled with candies and other treat for the prices of yesteryear!~ I highly recommend you stop and try some of your favs-- you won't be disappointed!

I love the donut holes!! Everyone was very nice really like the variety of the Donut holes that they have.

Best Donuts in Sacramento as far as I am concerned. Started going there with my dad in 1974. I grew up in North Highlands and this place is still in my heart and taste buds. Thanks for 50 years of Yummy!!!!!

Bought dozen of donuts for a party in the evening last min. Only place that is only 5 mins away and is still open after 4pm. I really like the variety of donuts they had, and the service was very quick. We chose each of the donuts they had available for others preferences. The taste is very fresh, soft in the inside, a bit crispy on the outside. Especially the frost! The inside of the shop was okay. Not instagram worthy but looks to be small business owned. So I support!
